Well around 8:00 P.M or so last night I decided to draw a Guy Fawkes mask. This is how it turned out. http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l528/Xplosionshurt/010.jpg I drew a second one, and this is how it turned out. (Much better than the last, I think) http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l528/Xplosionshurt/009.jpg
Maxigqto, I can see your image okay but some people are having trouble loading it. Could you post the link to your photobucket album so they can see?
Maybe it was just another way of saying that management just hasn't found an area where your skills are usefull. Maybe. And I believe the 5th grader remark was a personal attack so zip it Gary Busey!
Oh, for the link to the picture, it's http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l528/Xplosionshurt/010.jpg Also, Nick_Nolte if you don't like it, why don't you go do something productive and stop being such an ass hat.
I'm giving you constructive criticism, and I even asked what you intended to have people use it for. See, this isn't deviantart where you can post crappy art and expect someone with even less talent to like it. You should be posting art/design work that others can use in a practical way. I see no practical use from this for others besides yourself. Also, being a professional artist, critiques aren't meant to be personal attacks, its to improve your skills, which you clearly don't have or youre just not using. So please, if you can't take criticism of your art, don't post it in here, because youre not really interested in improving, you just want people to look at your shiny shit.
I can, he could draw masks, others vectorize them, people print them and voilá, paper masks for everyone Agree, could be abit less harsh said though
True, but it's a start Themes could be made, certain raids have "special" masks for those without.. et cetera It has potential
I can take criticism, just not when it's as harsh as you put it. I've gotten pretty harsh criticism and have taken it fairly well, but I'll take your advice and start trying to improve. Also, I don't even use deviantart. I also did not see your comment about what I intend to use it for.
Why bother making a vector image based off of a drawing of a mask when you can just grab a picture of a real mask and do it than? Makes no sense. That just makes you a pussy.
But his drawing hasnt changed anything. And regardless, you can change it quicker inside of the file whether it be a vector or pixel based image, rather than drawing the change, taking another picture and than tracing over it in Illustrator. You're still not making much sense.
Why would anyone want his sketches right now? That mask is a pretty awful drawing. And I don't think anyones going to want to take their time to make a vector version of it, when there are plenty of good ones readily available. One of the worse things any artist wants to hear is someone coming to them and say "I have this idea for (blah blah blah). I don't have any artistic talent but want you to make it." Unless of course there is a paycheck at the end of it. Otherwise don't bother doing that. It's just rude. If you want to make something yourself, learn to make it.
That's because people turned lazy and don't seem to care about the next generation anymore. Why would people protest against a cult when the rest of the world doesn't seems to care?
Not so much lazy as burnt out or disinterest. Also, you aren't a new "generation" you're just 3 years late to the party.
Gain some then or don't ruin others interest Was a general artist thing, nothing to do with Anon, neither was I speaking of myself
I gotta say, I'm not really seeing much use for this. Even if you did an amazing job (which, let's face it, you didn't) there's no need for another version of that particular view of a GF mask with no modifications. If you're willing to take the time to get good, hand drawings are good for getting poses of iconic Anon/Internet figures that aren't already available (green-face-man holding a cake, guy-fawkes-hoodie Anon perched on the ruins of a city, etc.) or for creating new visions of the existing imagery, like a really new take on the GF mask or headless suit.
I think I'll do just that. And look, I know the drawings aren't great, and I can face that. I never said they were great or of much use. But I thought I'd draw and post them anyways. I should probably learn to take criticism better too. I'll work on my drawing and taking criticism better.
That's how it's done I'll PM you a link to the first video I edited if you like, everyone's got a learning curve.
I like it , would look cool cleaned up and maybe vectorized - an easy way to do is to just do half, then mirror/duplicate that side to the other, im not at my hideout so I can't do it right this minute (according to my current work PACE we probably looking at 2 weeks lolz) - but I think it looks cool
This. Maybe the key to getting a better reception here is to think about what folks might want or need, or what is not readily available and then try to fill that space. Research is your friend.
To be fair, there are a lot of exceptional pieces of art to be found at deviantart. Not really disagreeing with the rest of your post, though.
