Funny you should mention that, anons (imho) can identify each other based on practically no information at all. I did so last night quite easily actually.

You simply cannot join anonymous. You can perform anonymous acts (protest).

"Joining Anonymous" is an attempt at selling your soul to the Internet. Selling for nada.
Also, it's losing your own identity, your personality.
I do not recommend it.
Associating with Anonymous for too long may bring you to a quite unhealthy mental condition. - Since many of those posting anonymously are like that. (They can get you going, if you know what I'm saying).

Personally, I'm now trying to distance myself from Anonymous. - I consider them sick (even if they are smart).

But the choice is yours.
