When the madman finally came ashore in Daytona Beach, what was on his mind? View attachment Beach-1.jpg
Daytona, Fl was not in anyway a dangerous town in 1975 plus most of the time they would have been aboard the rusting ship right? Being "injured or assaulted/robbed is a comm ev offense" that is a Street-Gang rule, like being fined $100 if you get knocked down. All of this coming from Hubbard who never saw combat in the war or on the street, what a wus.
a nice complement to the above is the Briefing on Project Normandy MP3 (58 min) which mentions Daytona beginning @ 9:10
They first settled in a motel in Daytona Beach in October 1975, before moving to Clearwater later on.
^ Thanks, still in 75 there really were no tough sections of Daytona especially the tourist areas I lived there in the period. It just drives it home that Hubbard and Scientology were a bunch of scared little children that couldn't tie their own shoes. There even less to worry about today with their declining numbers especially with their historical record.
