Speaking in my official capacity as Leader of Anonymous UK (no, really, the cult said so themselves), I congratulate the International Association of Suppressives for taking the plunge and going balls-deep into enemy territory. It was a calculated gamble, and one that has sown the seeds of more fun to come. Do any of you unregistered naysayers have *any* concept of how badly trolled the cult is right now (from the sounds of your butthurt, you do, because you're feeling similarly assblasted)? And anyone comparing the Dawn Raid antics to the Marty LAX stunt, well, if you're not actually OSA, you might as well be, because you're so unutterably dense you'd make a perfect cult recruit.

The lack of anonymous posting has necessitated the unregistered posting. I appreciate your need to call me OSA,it is a rationalization you need to make, but the fact remains that these idiots broke the law. Chanology is about legal, peaceful protesting.

You should try going in to the org and taking the smokes off of Ron's desk. Do it on camera and we'll know for sure you are cool.

They are cool in my estimation for having the balls to go there as far as they could and have video to prove it. Getting into an org is minor compared to St. Hill. If I was able, I would've been there with them holding my card and let them tell me it is cancelled. Seems some jealously exists amongst a small number of anons or trolls. The ex's and never-ins are doing a fabulous job and the anons who join are honored and share the joy.

It doesn't appear that anyone involved in this action was such a noob as to not understand any potential threat. Lest we forget, there are no leaders in this effort. There is no book of rules, no revocation of membership for failure to conform. Indeed there are a number of time tested guidelines that anyone, especially those new to these protests, should gain at least a basic understanding of. Don't go into the org. That's a good one to be sure. But there have been protestors going into and out of orgs all around the world since day one. To be certain, a few have have been hung out to dry for having done so.

In headier times, there was an attitude cropping up among a small subset of protesters (possibly plants themselves) that they could pretty much act out on just about any impulse they had under the delusion that "Anon would have their back". That was an attitude which needed to be quashed hard and fast. Committing a criminal act however serious or silly it may be is clearly a personal choice and the thought of anyone making such a choice under the belief that a massive crowd of anonymous strangers on the Internet was going to rise up and save them from any consequences of their actions in the event things turned bad would, without question, be very dangerous thinking.

As for "advocating criminal activity", naturally that's not something that these forums can not tolerate for obvious reasons. This is after all, not the Darknet. WWP is openly available and Google searchable to all that wish to participate or simply lurk, whether they be Chanologists, Anonymous with a capitol "A" or a small "a", Exe's, OG's, OSA spies, psych's (even those evil ones that we keep hearing about), FBI, CIA, NSA, FDA, even dear old mom.

Of course even this basic forum policy has caused some to vote against it with their fingertips by rage quitting with cries of moralfaggotry!!! That's fine, we're all still here, those of us that choose to remain Anonymous have succeeded in doing so. No subpoena's, no midnight raids being carried out by mysterious men in black. All is good.

Outside of this particular forum, people are going to set their own guidelines as to what works and what doesn't work for them. No two cells, or individual Anon's for that matter can be expected to always function in the same way or for that matter in any predictable manner. While some have at times, made a choice to cross certain boundaries that others would recommend against, or stand up against on scene at a raid or here within these forums, to date there have been no transgressions serious enough to warrant widespread condemnation such as would be the case with an act of violence (which thankfully, and not surprisingly has never occurred - something scientology as a group can hardly claim for themselves).

Instead, on those relatively rare occasions where some have taken it upon themselves to cross certain boundaries, their efforts, while always controversial, have sometimes served to gain new insights into the cults health and behavior over time. It's been a good while since the cult has had it's temperature taken, and that dawn raid may well be the best reading we've gotten in years. Probably because this time, it was taken rectally.

In short, the choice to appreciate or to condemn the actions of others is simply a personal choice. Neither an advocation or disadvocation of anything, legal, moral, or otherwise.

Also Saint Hill is a Brown signs attraction which should be “A permanently established attraction or facility which attracts or is used by visitors to an area and is open to the public without prior booking ..."

Trespass is also not a criminal offence, its a civil one unless some sort of criminal damage has been done. (Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 Sections 61 and 62)
As far as I can tell peaceful protesters left without aggression when asked to do so.

The cult is very much into restraining orders. They have been for a long time. Any normal person looking at these videos without knowing who is who would side with the people who have been forced to go outside before dawn to handle a bunch of trespassers. How to apply for brown tourist signs for tourist attraction or facility located directly off a road managed by the Highways Agency.


Use this process if your attraction or facility is accessed from a motorway or A road managed by the Highways Agency. It may be accessed directly or via a private driveway or slip road.
If your attraction is accessed from an A road not managed by the Highways Agency or by a minor road, you should contact the relevant highway authority instead. In London the highway authority is Transport for London. Outside London the highway authority will be the local authority responsible for the venue location.
The Highways Agency is responsible for motorways and major roads in England. For other parts of the UK you will need to contact other authorities as follows:

• for Scotland contact Transport Scotland
• for Wales contact the Welsh Assembly

Costs for design and installation

As the applicant, you will need to cover the cost of any agreed tourist signs. A single sign may cost £8,000 to £20,000 to design and install if sited on a single or dual carriageway, depending on the size of the sign. A single motorway sign may cost £17,000 to £40,000. Many design options are available; the Highways Agency has provided these costs ranges give you an indication of your possible outlay.
The Highways Agency manages high speed routes with a major impact on local and national economies. As such precautions must be taken to ensure that signage is appropriate and installed safely. The Highways Agency may also need to take into account the cost of future maintenance. This means the design and delivery process for placing signage on strategic roads is generally more expensive than for local roads.
Eligible venues

Brown signs help road users find attractions and facilities.
An attraction is a place people visit for pleasure and interest, for example:

• theme park
• historic building
• museum
• zoo

A facility is a tourist amenity, for example:

• hotel
• guest house
• camping ground
• picnic site

Only attractions can be signed from a motorway. Both attractions and facilities can be signed from A-roads. Brown signs may only be provided where visitors would have difficulty finding the location.
It’s not possible for every tourist destination to be signed due to the number and variety of tourist destinations. Occasionally the Highways Agency cannot agree to provide tourist signs, even where the destination is eligible. This could be due to:

• excess signing demand
• high environmental intrusion
• significant impact on road safety

Ineligible venues

Tourist signs cannot be used for:

• retail outlets
• shops or shopping centres
• garden centres (including those with food outlets, play areas and additional retail outlets)
• exhibition centres or conferencing facilities

Application process

You should use this process for attractions and facilities accessed directly from roads managed by the Highways Agency. Check the roads managed by the Highways Agency before you apply.
Signage design and installation does take time. Unforeseen factors, such as the presence of underground cables or pipes that need diverting, can cause delays. Please allow at least 9 months from start to finish.

1. Complete section A of Annex C of Traffic signs to tourist attractions and facilities in England: tourist signing — trunk roads: TD 52/04 (PDF, 459KB, 40 pages) and send it to the Highways Agency attouristinformationsigns@highways.gsi.gov.uk.
2. The Highways Agency will consider your eligibility against the criteria and liaise with any other relevant authorities as needed.
3. The Highways Agency will contact you to explain whether you are eligible and to outline any appropriate signage and likely costs.
4. You must pay a deposit in order to proceed. The Highways Agency will provide payment details when they contact you.
5. Once the Highways Agency receives your deposit they will arrange for detailed design work to be carried out.
6. The Highways Agency will then give you a firmer estimate for completion of the work and ask if you would like to proceed.
7. If you do not wish to proceed, the Highways Agency will return your deposit minus any costs incurred so far.
8. If you do proceed, the Highways Agency will set up a legal contract known as a Section 278. Once the contract has been signed by all parties, you will be invoiced for any remaining payments
9. If the final cost is lower than the cost agreed, you will be reimbursed the difference.

Once installed, tourist signs become the property of the relevant highway authority to maintain as required.

Here's the map and opening times for tours at Saint Hill Manor snagged from their website.

The daily hourly tours start at 2:00PM and end at 5:00PM. They also ask that you book in advance.

I am pleasantly surprised that that a /r took place.
And Why we fail can still get thing's done.

This pre-dawn raid had nothing to do with Why We Protest, Chanology, or Anonymous. None of these people consider themselves to be a part of any of these groups and the OP was just cross-posted from Ortega's site.

I've walked through the grounds of an Advanced Org too on various occasions, and I don't think it's rubbed off on anyone. It wasn't trespassing because I was careful to stick to the rules.

English trespass law is a lot more complex, piled a thousand years deep, so I'm not going to spend the time digging into it.

If there's the slightest basis for the Saint Hill raid being trespass, CoS won't slow or shy about trying to make it stick.

Yeah, well you followed the rules. I've dug pretty deep into Brown signs rules (which are just like our brown signs here in the States), went to the Saint Hill Manor site, and checked out right to roam laws for the U.K.

I've posted the links and the information in this thread so there's no doubt that they shouldn't have done this.

I don't have any idea if the cult will act on their trespass or not. I just hope it doesn't affect others.
