Hi all, right I have managed to obtain a copy of the register of gifts and hospitality for every police force (except Lancashire which I would have to post). As you might imagine there is a fair amount of information but perhaps not as much as you think. On a preliminary sift (with a little added extra scrutiny for Sussex due to it being the location of St. Hill) I am pleased to report I can find no evidence of any gifts from the CoS to any police force in England this year and going back to 2007 for most forces.

Would there be any willing and able anons out there willing to assist me on a more in-depth trawl through the documents to discuss and either confirm or dispute my findings before reporting back to the group? It will involve quite a bit of reading but it is (well at least I find it) quite interesting.

Nicely found Death Hamster. The earliest entry I have for Sussex police is 4.10.2011 and I wonder if the proximity of dates is coincidental. It is helpful to know the gift was donated by CCHR, I will recheck following that date for that donor.

Nothing else recent as far as I can see, it could have been listed as private donor or private company I guess. There is the odd interesting entry which raises questions like why have Nestle given the Met a car, but nothing I can find relevant to Scientology. So despite my initial excitement a bit of a wasted few hours, oh well but at least I can confirm there are no obvious big gifts going from CoS to the police in the last few years. If anyone else fancies a trawl or wants more info feel free to converse or send me an anonymous typey email and I can send the (mainly) spreadsheets through but having gone through I feel it is a bit of a fishing expedition and I think I am going to call it a night.

I thank you for your information. It clears up a lot and it seems that this protest was probably not a good idea.

If you've watched the videos you will see that these people were asked to leave repeatedly, but did not. Sam Domingo seems to have ended up twirling and scooting all the way across the plaza to the front door. The raid also happened right before dawn when most people are still in bed.

Thanks amaX. Watching the videos there is no obviously no issue in the first video, the PCSO looks to have been very diplomatic and friendly they stayed to their side and we stayed to ours and there was no issue. Maybe anon and scientology should team up and split the cost of a box of chocolates for her! The second and third video, which I guess are the ones you mean; there is perhaps a valid point to be made that there is a trespass but a good counter point some of the lifetime members are lawful visitors, but you are getting into uber complex arguments. As for it been a good idea, risky as things could easily escalate and it only takes one person to say or do the wrong thing but this has to be weighed against if, that morning, they influenced just one person and saved one family from disconnection maybe it wasn't a bad idea?

All looked like a bit of a larff, except the short guy who looks like Will off the Inbetweeners, was so annoying, I don't know how you kept your tempers.

Someone should. It worked a treat when it was applied to the City of London police...

Was the dawn raid a good idea seems to be the question on some people's minds. If it had been something other than a litigious cult that has used fear to control people for decades then maybe it would be in question. The fact that the raid showed just how powerless the cult have now become and could possibly sow seeds of doubt in the cult victims is reason enough for it to be a great idea IMHO. To people who don't know the history and actions of the cult it could look bad but that number decreases by the day- even most police know now that the cult will make stuff up to try to cause trouble for protestors.

Guess what OSA- everybody apart from your ever diminishing little group of Ronbots can look at both sides, can find solid hard evidence that the cult of Scientology is a scam that is all about denial and lousy PR spin.

Come up to present time Scientology is dead!

Don't worry. There are a few here who will always find something wrong with anything, anyone did.
    Because they didn't do it.
Some think they are the leaders of anonymous or chanology.
So, bow to their aura of greatness....or, do what I do... laugh at them.

New video up on YouTube from the IAS event.

"This video offers some stellar and educated enturbulation by 'Jedi' and gives a much clearer idea of the close proximity of Scientologists and protesters after the police permitted us to protest right outside the gates of St Hill; Scientology's 'home' in the UK.
With a special appearance by Janet Laveau, head of OSA UK, Scientology's spy wing who goes on to star in the video of our dawn raid the following morning when she slaps a peaceful protester around the face."

There will be people here who don't appreciate this video which documents our first infiltration into the St Hill grounds on Friday night, but I think you will all enjoy the moment at 11:30 when the non-Sci head of security tells Janet Laveau, OSA UK Chief, over the phone that we're "really nice people".

Please don't watch if you disliked the earlier videos of our dawn raid as this runs along similar lines. But for those who enjoyed the first videos, this one has some great moments.

Not making a statement one way or another as to the events in the video, but feel that the
standard disclaimer should be made just in case

WWP does not condone illegal activity.

    WWP does condone peaceful protesting.

Personally, while pathetically unprofessional, I'm not especially surprised by Slappy Jan's getting a bit slappy in this instance as at that precise moment, OS was getting pretty well into her personal space, perhaps closer than he might ordinarily have had there not been some prior association between them, which admittedly I can only speculate on, not knowing any details as to what extent such association may or may not have existed in the past.

However I do think she went full retard when she turned turtle and ran back into the org and stayed there leaving security to her exhausted minions until after the local constabulary finally came around to wish everyone a good night/morning.

Enough so that I wouldn't be at all surprised if she hasn't already been "promoted" to a new post at Gold Base, sharing accommodations along side other friends of scientology's Slapper in Chief. It's not something I would wish on anyone, even someone like that, but it is just the sort of footbullet Miscavige could be expected (almost counted on) to make, and who knows, a little time spent pondering her circumstances might just provide the wake up call she needs.

Yes Janet, Hemet is quite a bit warmer than Sussex overall, but it's a dry heat.

Tresspass is a civil matter not a criminal one (AFAIK). The protestors left when asked to (almost)! I also think that with Miscavige on the premises the gloves are off to some extent- he is not welcome in the UK.

I think some of the back and forth here is down to the peculiar "War on Crime" scheme in the US, where the police and quite often hired security in some situations has a hair trigger for even the smallest offences. European police is there to keep order, not to bother the prosecutor with anything that might possibly constitute a crime in some way. Private security also generally have very limited powers in Europe, being told to leave by a private security contractor is not the same as being told to leave by an actual cop.

  21. UK law is not the same as US law.

So US fags should STFU and let the UK fags protest any way they want.

I think an invasion of Stain Hill was long overdue and lulzy, and the fact that Miscavige was there was even better, the tiny coward was watching from behind a curtain and heard the shouting and was made aware that he was not welcome in the UK.

This should happen on all clam premises.

The cops arrested nobody - even the trespass was a minor misdemeanor.

So keep it up and do it again and again.

Enturbulating Miscavige is more important than the law.

Agreed! This was civil disobedience and peaceful protesting and if it annoyed Miscavige deserves a freedom medal of honour platinum! It's also a massive win that the cops allowed the protestors to do their thing right outside the gates- I think this was largely thanks to the cult trying to make protesting on the other side of the road unsafe- way to go OSA!

Oh it looks like OSA got butthurt by the security breach - enjoy your expensive sec checks and enjoy the ever increasing number of body thetans from OT3, OT4, OT5, OT6, OT7 then finding out that you now know who you are not at OT8 (and you were mocking up those body thetans anyway)!

Church of Scientology apologises in response to noise complaints | East Grinstead Courier & Observer

    Excerpt:

Church of Scientology public affairs director Graeme Wilson said: "Some East Grinstead residents were in touch with us over the weekend about the noise levels on Saturday night, following which the levels were greatly reduced for the charity concert on Sunday.

"We sincerely apologise to anyone who was disturbed and we have taken all comments on board for our planning for next year's weekend of events.

"One person who contacted us complained that they hadn't been invited!

"I'd like to take this opportunity to let your readers know that if they write to me at Saint Hill I will be delighted to put them on the invitation list for the charity concert for next year, for complimentary tickets."
