Independent Reformed Church of Scientology incorporated in California

  1. Independent Reformed Church of Scientology incorporated in California.

    HT: "9001" on Tony Ortega's blog:

    A search of IRS Select Check shows the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology does not yet have U.S. tax-exempt status.

    A search of the California Exempt Organizations List shows the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology does not yet have tax-exempt status in California,.

    Do they automatically get tax free status?
  3. No, they have to apply to the IRS to get U.S. tax-exempt status.

    They can also apply separately to California to get California state tax-exempt status. My memory, and I could be wrong, is that if they get U.S. tax-exempt status from the IRS, the State of California automatically, or pretty much automatically (i.e., just a matter of filling in some forms), gives them state tax-exempt status.

    The Independent Reformed Church of Scientology. Hmmm... one question:

    Is this the People's Front of Judea or is it the Judean People's Front?

    Another question: will this last longer than "Milestone Two," "The First Independent Church of Scientology," and a whole slug of others? And will people get it confused with the small-time hood who claims he's the reincarnation of L. Ron Hubbard?

  5. FWIW, somebody on Tony Ortega's blog noted that the First Independent Church of Scientology still has U.S. tax-exempt status. Somebody is keeping it up-to-date with the IRS. I just verified that it is *still* litigating its administrative trademark case. So the FICS is still alive and at least somewhat kicking. My impression is they are waiting for their trademark case to be resolved.

    Hip Hip. Another strategy of the co$ together with lemberger who was revealed his deadly secrets on a YT video. They are trying to open a "reformed church of scientology" so that they will also capture the "independent field".
  7. Do you have any evidence that Lemberger is involved with the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology?

    Do you have any evidence that the corporate Church of Scientology s involved with the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology?
    What YouTube video are you referring to?
    I'm not trying to be confrontational. I'm genuinely interested in any evidence concerning the above.

    Call Max Hauri and he will give you information.
    'dani lemberger interview' in Youtube search bar
    rathbun is friends with dani, and you saw his videos...
    you can think it is all a conspiracy, but pyramids exist for a reason.
    what is your thought?
  9. Didn't Rathbun screw over Lemberger in a recent court case?
  10. Lickit10Times Member

    Ortega posted a video with Dani asking Rathbun why he gave the church a private email. There was no answer from Rathbun. Rathbun started to make high quality videos and he is now "exposing" one by one. So to tell you the truth, I do not know if it screwed Dani in the recent court case, but what I do know is that both are hallucinating, and probably are coordinating their actions.
  11. Do you have any evidence of coordination between Rathbun and Lemberger since Rathbun started pushing a pro-COS narrative? If not I would question whether or not you understand the word 'know'.

    Don't get me wrong, I think it is reasonable to criticise the independent field. But only accurately.
  12. Lickit10Times Member

    I must say that you are annoying P-:
    Yes, the fact that their were emails back and forth between Dani and Rathbun.
    Rathbun refused to answer Dani's "public" question.
    Dani met and consulted Rathbun before he left the Church.
    It is an awesome game they are playin'.
  13. The Independent Reformed Church of Scientology is now live.

    Our organisation is global. It provides support, training, materials, guidance, promotion, marketing, correction and help. It has no fixed location but organises delivery of auditing and training across the planet through associates who do train and audit. There are no tithes or fees as part of this Church. It is a network of Scientologists, working with a common purpose, applying standard LRH technology to train auditors and take people to Clear and OT. It is early days, but we have thousands of Scientologists around this planet who have the right to standardly practice their religion in a safe environment. All are welcome.

  15. Lana Mitchell has explained the need for the new Independent Reformed Church of Scientology given the prior existence of the First Independent Church of Scientology.

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    At the end of 2017 the First Independent Church of Scientology was registered by Jim Fonda, and I got excited that there was a possibility to create a ‘second terminal’ to break the monopoly and suppressive hold that the Church of Scientology has on the field.

    I was hopeful that we had another opportunity to connect up the field and get standard Scientology delivery occurring. Despite the continued noise in the media, we can help people recover from what has occurred and I liken it to the fall-out after a major cataclysm or war. There are people out there, thousands of them, that need assistance, and by using standard tech we can bring relief and work to try and sort out this mess.

    Unfortunately Jim Fonda, despite the best of intentions, has a different plan for the First Independent Church of Scientology which is focused more on a Div 6 public, so the new church has not progressed as I would have hoped and it does not fill the much needed gap within the field to create a new 3rd dynamic group.

    So that brings us to present time.

    A long 10-year story — but really only a snippet of time in the time-track of us eternal beings.

    We have pockets of delivery happening all over this planet. There are many well-intentioned, honest, hard-working and sincere Scientologists who are delivering Scientology in the field. There are a handful of loopy squirrels and one or two criminal rip-off merchants, but the majority are on the rails and just doing what they love – moving people up LRH’s Bridge. Tom Martiniano, Chris Black, Ingrid Smith, Mike Eldredge, Pierrot Bartnik, Becky Buchanan, Carolyn Groff and many more – these are good people doing good things.

    So where to from here?

    There is a plan to try and create a new 3rd dynamic again – and if that fails, we will try again, and if that fails, we will try again.

    The International Freezone Association operating as The Association of Professional Independent Scientologists: A change has come.

    A change has come

    by Lana Mitchell

    ANNOUNCEMENT: L.Ron Hubbard's philosophy and legacy can now be found in the friendly environment of the new Independent Reformed Church of Scientology (IRCS).

    The new church is wholly independent of the Religious Technology Center (RTC), Church of Scientology International (CSI), and the Church of Spiritual Trust (CST) (collectively and loosely known as the Church of Scientology).

    The new global church is for Scientologists who believe in and practice LRH's original philosophy and working technology and have either left the church of their own accord or been expelled from the church.

    It is for individuals who are seeking spiritual enlightenment through the religious beliefs and practices of the original philosophy and the technology relating to that philosophy, as originally expounded by L.Ron Hubbard, and who have no desire to be a part of the current Church of Scientology.
    We believe that man is free to follow his own path.

    His or her religious practices and beliefs are not constricted by any copyright monopoly, therefore people wishing to seek enlightenment through the practices of Scientology are not bound by law to attend only the official church (any more than Christians being bound by law to attend only Catholic churches, or Judaists bound to be Orthodox).

    Details on the new church can be found at Independent Reformed Church of Scientology.

    A change has come. We are pretty excited about it!

  17. Independent Reformed Church of Scientology criticizes delivery of the Survival Rundown by the Church of Scientology International.

    To avoid confusion, please note the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology uses and embeds the Milestone Two blog.

    Overrun to the moon and back

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    Some of the out-tech and arbitraries within the Church of Scientology’s delivery of the Survival Rundown that I have become aware of include:

    1. A Supervisor insisting that the preclears continue on each individual CCH/Survival Rundown process for at least 3 -4 hours to “give each process time to bite”.

    2. Stating “the way out is the way through” when a person has been on a process for an extended period of time, feels they have achieved the EP of that process and has protest and upset relating to it.

    3. Adding more and more processes to the Rundown, creating a never-ending hidden standard of what is to be achieved.

    4. Co-audit twins not sufficiently trained or grooved-in on EPs or session admin, so when release with cognition is achieved, it is not noted on the worksheets and the Supervisor then insists on the process being continued.

    5. Reviews done when there was upset, but not doing a Scientology C/S One first, so the preclear has confusions on what an e-meter is, how it works, what is expected as a preclear, or even how a correction list works. With no proper Scientology C/S one, misunderstoods left unhandled on words that directly relate to the phenomena the pc is experiencing (such as the word exterior).

    6. D of P not trained on using the meter, so does D of P ‘meetings’ instead — off the meter.

    7. Ignoring originations of exterior.

    8. Changing the ability gained on the Objectives from LRH’s “Oriented in the present time of the physical universe” to Dave Miscavige’s “Oriented in the present time of the physical universe with new perception, awareness and control of one’s environment, body, mind, thought and people.” (maybe this is how he can get OTs to agree to go back and spend hundreds of hours re-doing the first step of the Grade Chart).

  18. The Independent Reformed Church of Scientology has issued a Policy Statement.

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    Policy statement

    Today we posted an IRCS policy statement which we feel strongly about.

    In addition to it being a strong communication on what this organization is about, it also differentiates us from the Church of Scientology and clearly lays out our principles, our beliefs and our policy.

    We are creating an organization that delivers Real Scientology. It is a safe place/group to be part of.

    We do not discriminate and never use the secrets of a PC for punishment or personal gain. We do not attack, discredit or harass parishioners, non-Scientologists, critics or those still with the Church of Scientology as we follow and practice LRH’s philosophy of clean hands and the golden rule.

    We work for freedom of speech and do not censor or restrict a parishioner’s free and open inquiry in all matters and respects their right to speak, write, listen, challenge, and learn. The Independent Reformed Church of Scientology believes that what is true for you is true for you – and expects that a parishioner studies broadly on any and all subjects so as to increase knowledge, responsibility and control in life.

    We are not endeavoring to open a mental institution and our services are not a substitute for competent medical treatment when it is actually needed.

    We do not interfere with the personal lives and relationships of our public because we believe man is basically good and is capable of making ethical decisions on his own determinism.

    We do reserve the right to refuse service to those who promulgate destruction or engage in activity contrary to the principles of our organization and Standard Technology of Scientology.

    * * * * * END EXCERPT * * * * *

  19. While previously reported here (see above), the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology (IRCS) has officially announced that it has obtained tax-exempt status in the U.S.

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    Prior to the public announcement of the new Independent Reformed Church of Scientology we worked to get all of our legal rudiments in. One of those was an application for tax exemption with the IRS which was submitted in December 2018.

    We have since learned that our tax exemption has been approved. One small step, but a significant one for the new church nevertheless.

  20. The Independent Reformed Church of Scientology addresses discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

    The post also addresses discrimination on the basis of disability, political affiliation, a person's status as a non-Scientologist (i.e., a "wog"), and membership in another religion.

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    I know of at least 4 homosexual parishioners who were on-lines with the Church of Scientology who were prevented from receiving auditing and treated with ethics and justice because they were in a same sex relationship. This is despite LRH clearly stating in HCO PL 11 August 1967, Issue 1, Second Dynamic Rules “It has never been any part of my plans to regulate or attempt to regulate the private lives of individuals. Whenever this has occurred, it has not resulted in any improved condition. All I have been interested in, so far as Scientology law was concerned, was in removing retarding elements or practices from the path of progress toward freedom. Man is aberrated. Otherwise we would not be here. He is hard to rescue as he has been carefully “trained” to do himself harm. I have no concern about the second dynamic activities of Scientologists save only where they bring suffering to others and so impeded our forward progress. Therefore, ALL FORMER RULES, REGULATIONS AND POLICIES RELATING TO THE SECOND DYNAMIC ACTIVITIES OF STUDENTS, PRECLEARS, STAFF AND SCIENTOLOGISTS ARE CANCELLED.”

The Independent Reformed Church of Scientology (IRCS) announces that due to a technical error the messages of over 40 people who reached out through the contact form were not received and as a result they did not receive a response. The technical problem has now been resolved and submissions through the contact form have been tested and are now working. The IRCS asks that those who reached out to please do so again.

    By Lana

    I was alerted by a dear friend in Texas that two individuals had reached out to the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology in recent times and not received an answer.

    I went searching and found, to my horror, a technical glitch that has resulted is every single contact form filled out not reaching us. Further investigation found that more than 40 people had reached out and not received a response.

    Oh boy. The picture above communicates how I feel about this. I am horrified.

    Apologies don’t seem really to suffice.

    The technical problem has now been resolved and submissions through the contact form have been tested repeatedly and are now working.

    I am hoping that resilient thetans out there who were keen to reach out can do so again — and if you want to express your upset about the silence you initially received. Go for it. I deserve it. Sigh

    And on another note — as requests and communications have been coming in to the email, we have been working out how to best get people serviced. If there is a former DTS, D of P, Board I/C or Tech Sec that would like to help coordinate preclears/pre-OTs and auditors, we have a project position needing to be filled. This is very much a part time activity that can be done from anywhere on the planet, as long as you have email, internet access, a good comm level, and a love for getting people into session and providing great service.

    So… apologies to the 40+ people who wrote in.

    Could you originate again so we can receive and respond?

    * * * * * END EXCERPT * * * * *
  22. After discussing various recent life events (e.g., caring for elderly parents, dealing with a new boss at work, raising her now 10 and 13-year-old boys), Lana Mitchell reports:

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    Both myself and Mike Eldredge have handed over the Independent Reformed Church of Scientology to some dedicated Scientologists who have a little more time than we do at current. Both Mike and I are still auditing (and Mike is still C/Sing) and we welcome preclears and pre-OTs that need services.

    You will hear more on this shortly on the IRCS website and FB page.

    I wish all of you the best with your own life events, as they are experienced.
