He gets out in June of 2013. I worry where he will go, what he will do when the time comes. This has been 18 years in the making. Not much I can personally accomplish to keep him in check.... reaching out in the hopes that all eyes will be on him and on Scn when he does get out....

He is dangerous, has been committing these crimes since he was a teenager. Although he will nearly be 60, he is still a freak of nature and will strike again!

Trust me, he gets out in June of 2013. He is in solitary confinement so his behavior is no longer an issue. He gets all of his gain time and will be out in a very few months.

Thank you, my friend... I hope he never hurts anyone ever again. If I could do only one thing.... it would be to stop him..... We stopped him 18 years ago... time flies.... At the time, 18 years sounded so good.... Never thought passed the sentence.

How did a 30 year sentence become 17-18 years?

His crime was the year before the statute changed in FL. Back then, the sentence was subject to good and gain time. If his crime had occurred the following year, he would have had to do the full 30, which is how the law is written now. I guess I cannot complain because there are murderers that do less than 18 years. However, as someone personally subjected to this monster, it is too soon.....

Maybe get the word out to Florida Anons, along with the photo?

I'm not in Florida, I'm not even in the USA, but I know that there are a good number of Florida Anons that can get the word out.

He should call Jan Eastgate for help. She and the CCHR no how to help child molesters.

I see that there are at least a couple of you in this thread that are rightfully concerned about Tony Strawn's release. Please either bump this thread or start a new one when it gets closer to his release date. I am certain there are many people here on WWP that would love to help disseminate the message of this paedophile's release.

Surely scientologists find child molesters repugnant too? Is he on a child sex offenders register and can the church be prosecuted if they encourage/enable him to access children again? ( if part of probation is staying a set distance from kids, and all things kid related? )

They covered for him 18 years ago. He is Amanda Ambrose son. So he got much coverage from Scn. The mom was told not to turn him in... You tell me do you think they think child molesters are repugnant when they did not want him where he is?

What do you need? I am getting a copy of the court order incarcerating him.. Will have it in a couple of weeks. I can personally attest to OSA not wanting him to go to jail. Mom was advised by OSA's Ken Long that she would be declared if she turned him in.

In a Scn world, children are responsible for their own condition. Remember, their souls are a million years old. Scn, by default, encourages violation of children. There is no such thing as being a child in reality, to them. Not sure that they have changed that much. The whole entire "religion" is built on this crap.

This might allay some concerns, But leaves some questions unanswered such as Do offender distancing provisions include 'church' attendance. (They may, but it could be argued that that is a human rights violation, or some sort of violation of rights involving Worship in States)

I agree but am so hoping that laws have tightened enough and the taste for covering for these animals has diminished enough over the past eighteen years that maybe even they will not have the stomach for it. Failing that actively publicizing and keeping our foot on there necks regarding application of the Relevent Sex offender legislation ( distancing requirements) may be enough to remind them about some of their duties to their children

He will have to do 10 years of probation and he is registered as a predator, the most severe level of sex offenses. He has to do sex predator counseling. I am hoping he blows the counseling and goes back in to finish his term. All eyes are needed!
