We could have a "learn about the cult and get a free cup of chowda" stand. Beats the hell outta a stress test.

I'm definitely in (assuming no scheduling conflicts). I grew up near Clearwater and despise the church--the citizens of Clearwater would like their city back.

I can provide some accommodation for one or two folks during the raid, and a cake.

    Cheers

Have you had a look for flight costs yet? Another UK fag that here that may well consider it, cost dependant.

Some folks from ESMB were gonna show up over Memorial day weekend. I'd make the 1500 mile trek myself, but only on a holiday weekend. Not like there's not a lot of other things to do that weekend.

it looks like we should be able to go forward with MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

There will be activities planned Friday evening through Monday.

Many of these will involve drinking. What the fuck do you expect, it's Boston. Raid and activities in public parks will not. When the full events list is together, we'll get it out to everyone.

note for international anons: drinking age in Massachusetts is 21. Please plan your festivities accordingly.

Boston? That's not extremely close to NS, and in May with exams right around there...It's possible.

Edit: No passport, not old enough to rent hotel room, no money for plane ticket. I think I'll stay home, although I was planning to drive down that way in the summer with a friend. I'll drop by for a visit.

Wait a minute, stop the music!!!!

No offense but I called being "Legolas" and the right to say "and you have my bow" (or its many derivations) long ago:

If mrfyde doesn't want it, you can be Gimli and say "and my axe".

    Just saying....:)

They already said it all on the first page, that person was just being stupid. Anyways.

I'm deeply considering driving down...However I'd prefer a motel than a house, mainly because I don't want to crash at some nigger's house who I don't know. That'd be awkward. I googled it, and from my side of Nova Scotia, it'll take me roughly 10 and a half hours (according to Google, other sources are saying 19-22 hours) to get there. Cheaper than flying though, I think.

    I will try my hardest.

We're definitely seeing a couple of Halifags, perhaps your city could discuss a carpool?

Meatwad: sorry, I was talking to the person like half a page ago. This is what I get for not quoting.

Re: INTERNATIONAL MEGARAID EVENT: Boston, MA - May 2010

it's going to be a three day event, only part of it is going to be at the Boston Org

We've got a lot of stuff in the works, once a few more things materialize we'll work on getting an itinerary up here. The org itself is at 448 Beacon Street, Boston MA. We will likely be spending time there, at Boston Common, Copley Square, and possibly on a boat.

Memorial day weekend? I'm an ignorant Canfag, so I'll just assume that's kind of a busy thing?

Re: INTERNATIONAL MEGARAID EVENT: Boston, MA - May 2010

Actually, the "You can count on my steel" quote that started this faggotry is from "Army Of Darkness", as is the still image that accompanied it. Not a big deal, youse guise may continue arguing over who's Legolas and/or Gimli.

But that guy in the middle is Willy Nelson for sure...

Re: INTERNATIONAL MEGARAID EVENT: Boston, MA - May 2010

I apologize. For international anons: May 29th-31st. Boston is likely to be busy, but it's also lovely weather and a three day weekend. Also crowds = more flyers to hand out.
  37. AnonOne Member

Re: INTERNATIONAL MEGARAID EVENT: Boston, MA - May 2010

Lol, it's not a three day weekend for us =P And I assume crossing the border by car will be a bitch, not to mention if you go by plane there's a chance you'll have to fly to New York and deal with JFK unless you want to spend the extra cash for a no-stop flight...This darkens my day.

Tell the boss you are American on your mothers side and need the day off. Put on 20 pounds to make it convincing.

If you cannot request a day off of your job with FIVE MONTHS NOTICE, then you need a new job. Srsly.

Also, all three days are not mandatory, just funtiems.
