Iranian pavillion in Venice occupied 17/6

Discussion in 'Iran' started by felslag, Jun 18, 2009.

  1. "Yesterday a group of activists from the social centre S.a.L.E. occupied the Iranian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. The Banner with the title of the official exhibition: "Hope for the future" was replaced by another one saying: "Hope for the future? Freedom for Iran Now!". The action lasted about two hours. The silence surrounding the Iranian situation in Italy is becoming too loud. As young people, students, women and media activists we want to give the people in Iran all our solidarity and support.
