Scientology can claim that $$ Did go to CCHR for combatting what they claim is the issue.
The problem: Financial accountability in sci has been nil. It's one of the main reason Billions are spent on legal armies. Yes, I understand Xenophon is working on it, but in reality that will take a year or two I'm fairly certain.

What is screaming odd, though, is the exact amount thing. Now, if it came be found out that Jan Eastgate's bail was $8700, now we're talkin'!

Could be they're setting up a contingency plan of Jan Eastgate being a martyr. Things are pretty fucked up for the Cult in Australia and it's only going to get worse for them. This could all be presented as a stitch-up job by the evil psychs and used as a bogey-man to scare the troops back in America into handing over more cash/working more unpaid hours. Don't forget that in Scilon eyes Jan won't really be a criminal even if she's convicted because it will have been by a wog court.

Somehow I believe awesome aussies can do more awesome and find out. You can find out bail amounts in U.S. online court docs, in some states free, in others you gotta pay, and maybe others not.

The Bail amount is not listed, but there's contact info for this police unit, for any Aussies who might be so inclinded to give them a call and ask.
