Scientology mentioned on the Stephanie Miller Show

The Stephanie Miller show is a nationally (USA) broadcast progressive/liberal radio show (that is into fart jokes), but they did mention briefly the death of Jett Travolta with a connection to Scientology on the Monday (Jan 5, 2009) show.

While the show regularly pokes fun at Tom Cruise, [ame="http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=206oq4y&s=3"]and here is audio[/ame] (so is not a friend of Scientology), I was still amazed they brought up the Scientology connection of Jett so soon after his tragic death.

But this just shows that this tragedy will be picked up my many media sources...and can ultimately help others live.

Note...the links work, but says that there are errors? If you click on the title of the second clip..it works.

So here are the actual links as well

Not the first time Stephanie's had some fun at TC's expense... I found this on WBM's Wog Blog and is from August last year

Sounds to me like Mrs Beckham was setting the precedent for this:

Scientology fun on the Stephanie Miller Show

[ame="http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=20hwvio&s=5"]Here is a new (short) one from Monday, January 29, 2009[/ame]

(Just click on the video title..it will work)

Gold base is actually mentioned near the end

Basically, Jim Ward on the show uses any excuse to bring out his Tom Cruise impression.

I dunno, for a campaign with no money or budget to speak of (at least not "on book" since we're carried on DOD's black ops budget here in America), we've done a pretty fair job of shaping awareness in the average bear. People are a lot moar likely these days to have awareness and moar freely use the word "cult" when you say "Scientology" in reference to anything. A year ago it wasn't that way.

It's not that the public don't get it now, it's that you're right in that the msm has yet to give it the full attention as everything from news to the absolutely BLACK satire that it is. Noel Coward could not write better dark humor, but the msm is still trying to feign some sort of indifference, I THINK not wanting to give the appearance of being dragged into a "war" against a religion.

We should be glad they've been as "impartial" as they have been in terms of not eating up $cilon propaganda. I guess it was too much to expect that they would join the fray until it was so late that now they can self-justify by saying to selves it would "be in bad taste to take a stand at this time."

"Fifth Estate," bah... suck my dildo! Meet 6th Estate which is >9000. If they won't educate the masses then we will. They can make a sitcom out of it by the time we are done and they twig to the fact that it's both PC and humorous as HELL to satirize the shit out of the criminal cult.
