Please do what you can to get some Camelot Castle Hotel shoops to top the search rankings on Google.

In the interest of fairness, you should make sure you visit the official Scientology site every time you come to this thread. You can get there via the sponsored link that appears at the top of this forum

Remember, the CoS consistently says that for the full story about scientology, you need to visit their website to find out for yourself.

It's useful that link's there, because - although it costs the CoS money every time someone clicks it it - it enables you to regularly refer to their account of things.

Everyone in this thread, I just wanted to say well done for the hard work.

I'm out of here for now because after a few weeks at it, I've realised that focusing on scientology on a daily basis is an negative energy I don't want in my life.

We put this hotel and the way it treats staff, guests and the neighbouring villagers on the Google map so that people will be better equipped to make up their own minds as to whether they want to go there or not.

One thing's for sure is that these critical views are out there now - and that's a good thing.

Good luck with your campaigns! - Starborgled

DOn't forget to CLICK the scientology Google ad at the top of this page before you leave to make sure that you've NOT misrepresented scientology in any way!

A shame that it takes years for many scilons to have this simple "cognition".

Yes, tied up in the basement, near the light box. It's Ted. Ted Stourton.

These are the times when the light box is off limits.

I live in Cornwall. Just got back from abroad to find wonderful "new dawn for media barons" PR b***shit - made me so happy to know that the Emir of Quatar has been visiting Tintagel. Last time I looked at the map the place was spelt "Qatar".

But where's the dosh coming from? No-one believes the "heir to Mappin & Webb" stuff: after Mappin lost the fraud case v Benji-the-bin, it was announced in the press that he feared going bankrupt. And if you look at Companies House records for the hotel, you'll see that the parent company, Mythological Hotels (hahaha) has a small companies' exemption. Given the shockingly poor PR performance by Mappin/Stourton, can even their fellow-Scientologists think that this outfit is worth bankrolling? Just wondering, as are many of us down here in Cornwal....

Re: John Mappin and the Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel, Cornwall

Just watched fantastic (in all senses) video online, "The Secret of Camelot Castle", with my 4 house guests - we laughed and laughed till we cried. Best of all was what appeared to be a coachload of bemused elderly Sally Army trippers being shanghaied into singing "Happy Birthday" to the President of Kazakhstan - a place they clearly knew nothing about, or they wouldn't be brown-nosing the old tyrant, now would they? It's hard for non-ex-scientologists like me to know whether this gem of a clip owes more to scientology or to old-style Soviet propaganda.

A bit of me hopes that on second thoughts, Mappin etc hang in there, as it can get a bit dull in Cornwall on long winter evenings and the CCH is possibly the funniest & most entertaining thing (albeit inadvertently) since Blackadder. I hope "The Secret of Camelot Castle" goes viral - I'm sending a link to my 10 closest friends, for starters.

LOL...first CCH is compared with Fawlty Towers, and now, Blackadder.

Now, can you not see that saving Tintagel is Serious Business?

Welcome bayir11, get stuck in - these people are less funny the longer you look at them. Hope you can help spread the word.

Indeed. This is the more recent Camelot Castle Hotel thread.

If you think about how small Tintagel is, it's amazing just how many concerned citizens are getting involved with us. If London, say, had as many Anons as a proportion of its size, they'd have to hold protests in Hyde Park. Wow... just goes to show how much John and Irina have pissed off the local populace with their weird cult hard sell.

Re: John Mappin and the Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel, Cornwall

Well obviously we locals need to try to back up the efforts you regular guys have been making. It is hard for us to know where to start. I have already had a chat with someone from the Western Morning News but they said, any anti-CCH publicity may be counter-productive to Tintagel in terms of tourism PR, and down here, where farming & fishing are pretty much in crisis, lots of people are very nervous about that.

However: I have a feeling that one could look at any deals that Mappin is trying to achieve in Kazakhstan, for starters - clearly he is brown-nosing there not just because The Beard was based there, but because he is trying to angle in on a commercial deal: after all, he probably needs the money, and certainly needs some kind of commercial kudos, which CCH desperately lacks.

One possibility would be as a Mr Fix-It / intermediary to Kazakhstan on a commission basis, possibly having suggested involvement in a pre-existing construction deal. There is virtually no other conceivable reason why he would set up the "birthday party". Also, junior commercial or cultural attaches being made to attend an event purportedly on behalf of their country is by no means unusual.Luckily I have friends trading in Central Asia and I could try to find out what I can, then post it to you guys. Do you think it would be worth a shot?

Re: John Mappin and the Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel, Cornwall

Herewith companies house info for the companies in which Mappin & Stourton hold directorships - checked in name Kudrenok just in case but nothing. As you can see, the CCH "group" is not exactly a Titan of the financial world; don't think the Forte Group need shiver in their shoes just yet......

Just got back from the smoke and guess what, ALL the Mappin/Stourton company (tiny) groups happened to file new information at Companies House exactly one day after your website published their deficiency.
Personally, I'm off to Africa tomorrow and not back for 20 days, but if anyone else on this forum wants to publish the revised companies information for Camelot Castle Flats etc., it will save me a bit of time when I get back. Please note I have copied info which shows interlocking companies and directorships.

Back on 22nd Sept to have a closer look at the companies & figures. Meanwhile, the marvellous video "Secret of Camelot Castle" has been viewed by (just for fun) a mixed group of Kyrgyz & Russian guys who have all said, "what does this man want to do? Who does he want to pay, and why does he not ask?"

We are clearly at cause over the creepy owners - there is no doubt whatsoever that they read WWP :)

Just as a reference, the "Pityme Business Centre" address is that of Brooks and Jeal, their accountants/auditors.

Would be interesting to find if there's a sci link there as there is with the main CoS auditors, as they may well be turning a blind eye to certain discrepancies that we have discovered or allowing the accounts to be filed unchallenged.

Pity you indeed, John, Ted and Irina.

Re: John Mappin and the Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel, Cornwall

This brings us to the question of whether, or how much revenue Camelot Castle Hotel actually brings to Tintagel. Mapping hires Polish staff (not local). Where does he buy food? Where does his taxes go? How many people come to Tintagel due to the hotel? From what I know about the cult, the only flow of money you can bet on is there, is a steady flow out of the town, out of the country and across the ocean to the cult headquarter.

Just got back from abroad & see that the other thread says that this thread has "necrosed" - for initiates like me, does this mean this thread is for some reason dead & should somehow unite with the other to help keep the flow going? Don't understand.

Anyway, apart from screaming with laughter over the 2 v badly buffered Vimeo productions from CCH, what I have most enjoyed since returning to the UK was a conversation with a friend of mine from Trebarwith (just up the road from Tintagel). He tells me locals are incensed not because of the crazy material sent to them from CCH, but because there is NO attempt - none whatsoever - to recruit any staff locally, despite the fact that this area is full of people well versed in the tourist trade and used to doing quick & effective hotel/room changeovers. He says it is time to speak again to papers such as the Western Morning News. I will get together with him about this. He says CCH is implying that its tenure of the hotel is good for local industry, and whereas this might have been believable 3 or 4 years ago, it's no longer plausible now, as all locals know Mappin & Stourton have a failing business & their ghastly rundown hotel is a blight on the local economy. We in Cornwall all know which businesses are functioning & which aren't; those of us who have successful enterprises tend to know each other, & those of us who work for successful enterprises tell each other where the good jobs are. The Camelot Castle Hotel is a Great Big Blank of the map of local employment. As for their comments on sourcing local produce, I can't find anyone down here to verify that, unless they're talking about bulk-buying for loo-rolls & frozen foods in Bodmin ASDA????

We don't like it, down here, when people take the piss. When we've finished picking the straw out of our mouths and putting the sheep to bed, we might just have a look at the new fraudster on the farm.....

Get as many cameras as you can. Even if they don't even work, just point them in the right places. And be sure to let the "fishing buddies" know that whatever they try to do will become prime time viewing on the internet.

Damn, I might even head to Tintagel myself, I got friends in Newport and St Ives so it wouldn't cost much to stay down there.

The new BBC John Sweeney Scientololololgy documentary should be promoted within the local area, just to let people know what kind of freaks they are dealing with, maybe a good flyer could fly through some letterboxes a few days before it gets broadcast.

Tintagel needs to be put on the map. And Mappin is full of crap.

King Arthur would have approved of this... go go Cornish Anons!!

I've never put a sheep to bed before though. I'm a bit jealous. Do they snore and stuff?
I thought you just sent the trainee shepherd out with a crooked stick to watch the flocks by night, you don't really have to ensure they are in slumber do you?

I recall many moons ago a cow falling onto the beach close to Tintagel, it died and nobody was too worried, then it got rotten and exploded... the high tide was not for a few weeks and all the dogs went crazy on the beach for the smell of dead cow...

Maybe John Mappin's little empire of illegal (we assume) Polish workers is that dead cow.

A bloated poorly decorated (glitter and butterfly adorned) dead cow, growing fat with the methane gases and internal pestilence, and we shall be there in number for the inevitable demise.

And we shall light fireworks upon a badly Photoshopped beach, and we shall rejoice as our Polish brothers and sisters join us in love and laughter as we free them from the plastic tyranny of the disciples of long dead fish-lipped Marcabian race-car driver...

Free at last, free at last, thank Xenu almighty we are free at last!

Sorry about that, bayir11. You just go ahead and write what you want, where you want. I'm very pleased you're here.

The only reason I mentioned the continued re-surfacing of the older thread is because it has divided the view and post counts between the two, and I wanted to make the point that this epic subject has achieved 1,800+ posts and 60,000+ views. In other words, there is a heck of a lot of public interest.

One thread alone can't handle the awesome. Sometimes, awesome has to bust out to this one.

Im sure John's terrible soft-core porn movie was leaked at some stage. I tried searching both threads, but there are so many posts and my searching skills are non-existent today. If it was leaked, could someone please post the link?
