Maybe famous Uschi Caberta invites some outspeaking Exies or Graham Berry if the next megaraid will start in Hamburg. We could ask her.....

I agree with having an international raid in Amsterdam, the city is great at night and there's a nice abandoned industrial site (we call it the Pitt) near Central Station where we can have a barbecue or just drink lots of beer.

Also, the Scilons there really need a beating.

There are a lot of interesting museums in Amsterdam to see (Rijksmuseum, Van Goghmuseum, Rembrandthuis). Also, it's a great place to shop. There's a store for practically anything you can imagine in Amsterdam.

And it's a beautiful city, of course.

You kissed A-non-non-anon. Your argument is invalid. Forever.

You can say what you want, but you can't deny it looked sexy. Kind of.

I am in awe of the awesomeness of you people.

I can only imagine what the Scilons, and the cops, and the passersby must have thought when they saw this huge crowd of anons descending on the org.

Did someone say "Same time next year?" If so, I gotta start planning my trip.

    This.
Also, get to see what man made land feels like.
And not to mention the people; Amsterdam is a smorgasbord of strange people, you could spend days just looking at the people and talking to strangers.

I agree with amsterdam, on the simple fact that it is one of the easiest places to fly to from pretty much everywhere.
However I don't think it should be any time soon or it will be fail on grounds of cost and motivation.

Dunno if this has been said but we have to think about where we can really enturbulate the scilons. Are they stress testing in Amstedam or are the like London very weak ???????
  12. Re: london july 11 megaraid postgame

Out of more practical consideration. Which location would be better that time of year, and which could benefit from the warmer summer weather next year?
Also, Are either going to get funny about me bringing a large quantity of a controlled substance (my meds) in. That I'd need time to get some sort of relevant permission or paperwork ready to bring with it?

My lousy grip on science suggests that Hamburg will have better weather on Halloween... Amsterdam during the summer months (I've been there out of season, it rained more than at home) would be more pleasant for exploring the mazes of raep parlours

(Personally I like Amsterdam more than Germany)
  13. Re: london july 11 megaraid postgame

I would probably fail to raise the money for the flight to Germany at such short notice.
    Amsterdam, I haz a hope.

Amsterdam does quite a bit of stresstesting in the warmer months.

Wherever we go, could we time it to coincide with a Bookathon or some other large scilon event in that town/city?

We were lucky that there happened to be a Maiden Voyage event planned for the friday of our weekend in London (I believe we found out about that after we'd set a date), but I think if we could tie in a mass enturbulation over and above educating the locals and scaring the shit out of the Org, it would be a better win.

From the UK, looking at Easyjet, quickly for Stansted - Amsterdam I'd reckon on it costing £150-£200 per person assuming booking accommodation and a flight for a weekend - travelling over on Friday so it's not a mad rush weekend.

Doable, but as others have said, not something we'll all be able to rustle up finances instantly.

I'm working on finding a date for Amsterdam here. Do not worry, epic lulz will be achieved.

There is not doubt that we will have Megaraids BOTH in AmsterDAMN AND with the Hamburglars respectively! (This will be the megaraid names btw(?))

Now, as above mentioned, something other than the obvious awesomeness of both locations will have to be taken into consideration.

Here are the points to consider in making the right decision:

-Is there any specific event taking place in either city in October/about Halloween time?

-Are there any Scifag related events taking place in the timeframe?

-Which city will be best to be in in October, weather wise, and which city will do better at a later time (past christmas, possibly January/February)

-Other things, that makes one site preferable to the other in therms of order?

Remember that this will not be a choice between two MEGARAID locations, this is a choice between which one comes first, because I swear on Xenus Glorious Testes that there will be a MEGARAID in both cities!

According to their website, October has the International Association of Scientologists, while January has nothing. However, March has Hubbard birthday.

Weather-wise, it's best to come to Amsterdam - closer to water = milder weather than further inland. That's why it's so fucking cold in Moscos - too far away from water.

Only thing I can see that might give Germany priority in October is Oktoberfest, which has a LOT of beer in it. And I mean a LOT.

The IAS 25th anniversary is going to be a major event at Saint Hill, and I can see a lot of UK anons wanting to go there, especially if last year's fun was anything to go by. Many scifags travel from across Europe for that event too so it's quite possible any other locations within travelling distance for the weekend would be almost sciless.

Imagine the fun you had on Sunday at Saint Hill, tenfold, with buses full of scifags to enturbulate.

Re: london july 11 megaraid postgame

Just a thought Copenhagen might be a place for the future. The Scifags print ALL their bullshit for the European orgs, worth considering BUT definitely not in Winter, TOO cold. LOL

He also kissed HatMachine. So by transfer of property, she kissed Hat.

    Lols.
  23. Re: london july 11 megaraid postgame

Another issue similar to Düsseldorf though in that you can't wear masks, unless like someone suggested earlier, talk to the police about it.

    I wouldn't refuse a Scandinavianraid tho!

Re: london july 11 megaraid postgame

I think it goes like this:

You tongue-wrestled Jedi, Jedi tongue-wrestled HatMachine (and Anonny-Nonny-No, and allegedly many others), HatMachine tried to kiss me (but failed).

There was more inter-anon kissing but I've blocked most of it from memory.

PS Surely you do sex? (as in with someone else - by yourself doesn't count ;) )

I happen to be single at the moment, as it happens.

You don't need to do drugs, alcohol or smoke to "have a life". If you wish to do any of the above, it's your choice, just please also accept my choice not to.

Re: london july 11 megaraid postgame

Looks like someone has his "taking life much too seriously" hat on today ;)

Note the numerous smileys attached to my previous post?

I gave up "judging" other people year ago - whatever floats your proverbial boat etc ;)

Now reboot and let's have Baz v2.0 back again (far better than the previous XP Bluebell version, lolz)

I'm with you mate, I don't get drunk, I'm off the pot...and I can't really imagine myself with a hooker.

    Fancy some chess?

That being said I have always wanted to visit amsterdam, regardless of those things.
