What was your friend Keith Henson's bail when he jumped the Canadian border and ran?

The Failwinds would have to dock in a US port, if I read this right. Never happen, or at least hasn't todate.

"Today James Harr appeared for Keith Henson in Riverside Superior Court in Hemet California. It was a confused hearing after Judge Wallerstein notice that Henson was not present. The judge at first issued a bench warrant with a $25,000 bail and then change it to a no-bail bench warrant for Henson, who is seeking political asylum in Canada."

    The video.
  9. Ann O'Nymous Member

Funny. Do you have examples of similar situations where people are pushing news people the way it is done here ?
  10. Herro Member

Yes, virtually every time someone gets wolfpacked by reporters like Eastgate did. To call pushing someone away after they violate your personal space an "attack" is just ridiculous. If you want to get all up in someone's face like that as a reporter or cameraman, whatever. But don't turn around and cry like a little bitch when the person pushes you away. If you don't like getting pushed, don't get in someone's face.

I don't think "personal space" is a legally defined term.

Placing one's hands on someone else's person does have a legal definition.

    What about blocking a sidewalk?
  15. Anonymous Member

    Surely. Please be specific.
  16. JohnnyRUClear Member

Perhaps, now that everyone's had time to sleep on it, Bryan Seymour could compare this incident with other similar incidents of press mobs. I'm sure he must have seen a few by now, most of them unrelated to any cult.
  17. Pushing and shoving of journalists is pretty commonplace. Punching is not. I have not seen handlers do this before in a public planned situation before in Australia. They did it because they could get away with it because no one could see the actual assault. I don't think Zhent's footage actually captured the punching.

    OSA will do whatever OSA can get away with in any situation;
At a protest, if there are police there, they will use polite OSA tactics - starting up friendly conversations, to distract speakers.
At a protest, if there are no police there, they will grab the mike and physically attempt to stop the protest.
If someone protests alone (only one camera), they will assault the person. We don't do solo raids in Aus.
In a media ruck, if no one can see, they will punch someone, especially a big bad SP.

Whatever they can legally get away with, they will get away with.

I'm sure you must have seen a few (in the media) and are able to substantiate this claim.
  19. JohnnyRUClear Member

Sorry, what claim do you mean?
  20. xenubarb Member

Look it up, faggot. I'm not going to waste any time on your trollery.
  21. xenubarb Member

Aren't you sweet, doing Herro's work for him!
  22. Ann O'Nymous Member

The one you made in the post I quoted, stupid.
  23. Herro Member

Ann I'm disappointed in you. Miranda said no more ad hom. You're supposed to be a paragon of virtue. You need to set a better example for the kids.
  24. JohnnyRUClear Member

You mean the bit about me being sure he's seen some press mobs before? I wouldn't call that a claim. It's a guess. In any case, there's no reason for me to go on further about it. Either it's a right guess or a wrong guess, and nothing is on the line either way.

If that's not what you meant then perhaps you could help my stupid ass out a bit and just specify.
  25. Ann O'Nymous Member

Just like Herro, you expect others to do things you are not ready to do yourself. Nice.

Dont worry Herro got your back on this one, at 0.59 of this short there's a clear case of people lashing out at the Australian medias bullbaiting.

Awww its the mafia, =/ that's kinda a bad group to be comparable to aye? >.<

Did Bryan Seymour say anything specifically about being punched other than the generic, "they were violent"? I didn't here him say stuff other than "you can't do that".

  35. Unfortunately no major US outlets have touched the story. Don't understand why.

Also ^^^ as I understand it 4 times in the general vicinity of one kidney.

That is, until the inception of our dear friend Anonymous... heh heh heh...

Perhaps Bryan's kidneys may prefer to respond on his behalf.

  39. The last paragraph of the article: "Still, you can catch the gravity of the situation. Australian television seems to take Scientology and its controversies more seriously than the media here in the States. It will be very interesting to see how the Eastgate case unfolds."
