Lenore Hale - My grandmother - She should not have died in the circumstances she did. She should have died, naturally, surrounded by her loving family. She should not have ended her life while under emotional agony, alone and disconnected from her Scientology family. I wish I could have saved her from her pain. I blame Scientology for her death. They killed her with disconnection.

My grandmother, Lenore and her seven children. Five of her children, including herself became Scientologists.
From left to right, back row: Mike, Susan, & Andrew. Front row: Lucy, Lenore, Kathy, Bill & Mary Ann.
Mike and Mary Ann never got in.
Andrew, Lucy and Bill are out.
Susan is still in the Sea Org at PAC. Kathy is still deep in Scientology and headed deeper still, having just disconnected from her only child so that she can now go up the bridge.
Lucy and Kathy (seen in matching outfits) only a year apart, were always incredibly close. Kathy disconnected from my mother, Lucy when Lucy got declared in 2009.
Just another family ripped apart by Scientology. When will it end?

I have grown to greatly admire him.

One day I asked him what his most favorite shows of all were.
He said that the one where people were taking experimental drugs to save their lives (cancer) etc ~~ many did die anyway.
I subsequently found the video on YouTube.

He also said he did one on Las Vegas with a very high net worth gambler ~~ how he lived, how he spent $$$ in Las Vegas and how they received him. I found that one too on YouTube. There is a such a versatility and spectrum in his interviews. He has over 1/2 million LIKES on his Facebook page.

It's the boots, isn't it? You just don't like the boots.

Forget about the boots, is my advice. Try to see the bigger picture.

In the larger scheme of things, focussing on the boots is not the way to go.

    The boots - forgettaboutit.

When Anonymous issued their Message to Scientology, and promised not to forget, boots weren't included.

    Move on from the boots.

Scientology denied: Karen de la Carriere stops a takedown attempt on videos at her channel

By Tony Ortega, The Underground Bunker, May 26, 2015

Karen de la Carriere has been keeping us updated on a situation she’s been facing with the Church of Scientology, and now that she’s resolved it, she’s ready to go public.

Some time ago, she received notices from Scientology attorney Gary Soter that she was in some kind of violation of some sort because of videos she had posted at her YouTube. She says that she receives threat letters from Soter about once a year, and so she passed it on to her attorney without even reading it this time.

But Soter was apparently serious, and complained to YouTube, which initially took down some videos at Karen’s “SurvivingScientology” page. But as she explains, she didn’t take it lying down.

We’ll let her explain what happened next:

Karen also provided documents to go with her video, which lay out the dispute. Dig in!

  13. For those who can't stomach listening to Karen's videos, the important stuff in the latest offering starts at the one minute mark (ignore the batshit crazy interpretation of the First Amendment meaning Scientology's attempt at censorship is somehow equivalent to government enacting laws that limits Karen free speech. Hurrrrrr. Durrrrrrrrr..... MAI FREE SPEECH DERRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPP!).

And it ends just past the 4 minute mark where the dox you can read on scribd flash by. Everything before and after those point is just blahhh blahhh blahhh, I drank so much kool aid my brain is mush, nonsense.

And yes, even those 3mins are excruciating torture to sit through. I managed to endure it in 30 second doses, with a 15-20 minute break in between pauses, and only suffered minimal brain cell damage. My condolences to all who suffered thru all or most of it before seeing this PSA.

She was merely pointing out the Scientology corporation's hypocrisy at claiming to promote first amendment rights while infringing on hers.

As for her style of presentation, it's not nearly as important as the content. If someone's style rubs me the wrong way, it's my problem not theirs.

Thanks but I never watch her videos. I did read Jeffery's letter because Random Guy said it was funny. It is funny. Well done lawyer guy!

    Is it the boots?

I will watch any vid that Karen doesn't voice. I find her way of speaking and presenting her story so full of pauses, it gets annoying. I watched her newest vid, but I'll go back to just listening to Jeff's podcasts now. I'm sure that's how she was taught in CoS, but it's still annoying.

    And yes, it's the boots.

I found the video to be interesting and worthwhile, its main point being about the cult using its attorneys to bully people with threats. And just as we saw with the Going Clear documentary controversy, the cult's threats proved to be nothing but baseless bullying.

Also, it's reasonable to expect anyone that spent much time in this cult and then got out to be dealing with issues like shame, guilt, anger, and frustration, not to mention concern and compassion for those still being fooled and bled dry.

The video meets its goal if you focus on the message, more than the messenger.

I like most of the stuff she talks about but this is another thing altogether, this ticked me off.

I am all against the cult, but no one, not even Karen, has the right of stifling free speech of anyone, even the cult's. Everyone has the right to say whatever they please. She seems to be too much balls to the wall stifling their free speech. Yes the cult does that all the time, but we do not have to be like them.

Let's do not become what we fight.

I guess you can take the girl out of the cult but not the cult out of the girl.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that she needs to stop speaking out. I hope that she still does and gets through to people. She's doing a good job. And other people should watch her vids too. I just probably won't. I'll wait for the summary (Unless it's something really interesting.)

I do love the podcasts on her channel though -- the interviews of ex-members -- and have listened to every single one of them. Make more of those!

  22. I have been trolling Freakzone cult member Rey Robles and sent him an email about the his planned conference on June 5, 6 and 7. I asked him "I heard Anonymous is allowed to attend your conference in Reno for free. Is that true?" He never answered. Any guess why that is
  23. I found this on ESMB but odd enough the post has now been deleted.
  24. I don't understand why people downvotes posts like this. The poster made a good point. Karen de la Carriere is a two-faced double-standard still-loves-lrh lady.

She is trying to ban scientology from YouTube while talking about scientology on YouTube.

Church of Scientology Intelligence Tactics Covert data to Overt Data

Published by SurvivingScientology on June 6, 2015

By stealth, infiltration an covert activity, Scientology Inc embeds itself for Intelligence reasons into the lives of real or imagined threats. This would include Media, Government agencies, Writers, Journalists, Film makers an critics. In order to give legitimacy to the slime and tabloid sensational attacks Scientology Inc makes, it constantly attempts to make Covert data into Overt Data. I explain it in this video.

Church of Scientology - the Cult's Obsession with Sex and Abortion, Part 1

Published by SurvivingScientology on June 10, 2015

It is disturbing how *obsessed* the Church is with sexual activity, sexual organs, pregnancies, marriages and so on.

When a Scientologist staff member exits, the slime and slurs they invent on the person is often sexual. Not realizing how deranged they appear to the outside world after claiming elevated spiritual states, they label departing ex-scientolgists as "porn addicts", "sexual perverts", "sexual deviants", "prostitutes".

    Maureen Boldstad breaks my heart
I hope her story some how reaches the main stream more.
Perhaps Gibney can give her a jingle. I wonder where her sister is.
And if Maureen choses not to speak out any further, I totally understand. She has been to hell and back. Not to mention that the COS can make it very hard on her sister who is still trapped inside if I am not mistaken.

  31. That's odd. There's no reason why that would have been deleted. Something else must have happened. All kinds of content can be found on that Message Board, sans any deletions. The post you presented is mild. For example, Ed Berwick, who gave a talk at Rey Roble's convention, had a full blown psychotic break on that Board and it remains for all to see. It's unlikely that post was deleted.

Church of Scientology - the Cult's Obsession with Sex and Abortion Part 2 of 2

Published by SurvivingScientology on June 21, 2015

The video depicts further shocking facts on Scientology Inc's baby killing for 25 years without a blink of an eye. They have slowed down a lot on baby slaughter now not because of conscience, but because it is PR nightmare and because of litigation.

The last word I say on this video is "BALONEY!"

I want to explain that the *CREED* of the Church which is in their publications and web sites, state "Man has an inalienable right to the creation of his own kind".

I say "Baloney!" because of the 25 year abortion enforcement.

Church of Scientology Private Investigators all paid with Tax Exempt funds

Published by SurvivingScientology on July 5, 2015

Now more church shady deeds and dirty tricks revealed by accident. A private investigator who hires hackers is revealed as a Scientology cult-hired PI. These actions are being ordered and executed from tax exempt money.

Tony Ortega's book clearly tells the story of what Guardian Office operatives did in the 1970s and 1980s and here they are doing the same thing.

The Church of Scientology’s forgotten president: Karen de la Carriere on Heber Jentzsch

By Tony Ortega, The Underground Bunker

We’ll never forget when we got the message from Karen de la Carriere in July 2012. She had found out — through the help of Aaron Smith-Levin, we now have learned — that her son, Alexander Jentzsch, had suddenly died at 27.

Alex was not only Karen’s son, but also the son of Heber Jentzsch, who is still the nominal president of the Church of Scientology International.

The son of the president of Scientology, and he fell ill and died without anything being said to his mother, who had the means to help get him proper care. Instead, it turned out, Alex got bad advice and took a medicine for pain that made it harder for him to breathe at the same time that he was suffering from pneumonia. That combination killed a man who was young enough that he shouldn’t have died if he’d been properly looked after.

In a series of videos, Karen is talking about her life with Heber, who was forced to divorce her by Scientology leader David Miscavige. Karen is now happily married to Jeffrey Augustine, but she still has affection for Heber, and spoke up about his bad treatment. She complained that Heber was being held in the “Hole,” which prevented him from being a father to his son Alex. For complaining loudly, Karen was kicked out of Scientology.

Here’s part 2 of her series, which is new and debuting here at the Bunker.

  37. Saturday Night I attended a book signing event of Steven Hassan at the Center of Inquiry on Hollywood.
    It was a learning experience.
Steve Hassan was a Moonie who escaped and tells the tale of Cults.
I never got into comparisons before listening to his presentation.
The similarities to Jehovah's Witness and Moonies (Unification cherch) were
    mind boggling.
Abuse of Individuality ~~undue influence total power imbalance.
Emotional blackmail of threatening disconnection, dis-fellowshipping your loved ones if you step out of line.
Abuse of finance, ripping off your hard earned cash,
A complete *THEM vs US* mentality. Everyone who is outside the group is of "the devil" WOG" "un-enlightened" and a lower class of human.
Abuse of Time and energy where so much is demanded that members are in a constant state of mental and physical exhaustion.
And ::::bingo:::: common CULT trait, cover up for pedophiles, protect them, give them air cover and never turn them into Law enforcement. Jehovah's Witnesses, Moonies and Scientologists all do it as part of their *POLICY*
