FROM EXSMB Tom of Helatrobus 1st April 2008, 03:53 PM Ha!! I wish I could go back to those days when I was still all wet behind the ears, and when Scientology was shiney and new to me... And leave. That way I wouldn't have wasted so much of my life as a Scientologist! Some how, some way in this crazy universe, you have to get some credit for trying. Anyhow I reposted my story with revisions at http://seaorg.wind.prohosting.com That section where I suspect Kay Rowe of being in is near the end and is called SEA ORG IN DENVER. i remember the missionaire telling me she was connected to the St Louis org somehow. Reading your blog, I think you might be interested in another piece I wrote at http://tomweeks.fire.prohosting.com It goes into the new age and pseudo science aspects of Scientology.
Considering how hard DM pushes IAS membership, I suspect he'll consider the on-line resignation of a former IAS Membership Officer important. BigBeard
This is all fairly cool, but since she is an independent Scientologist who therefore believes in what Hubbard taught sold, I wish her well in her journey, but would rather not have anything to do with her simply because I find all Scientologists to be creepy and ultimately, fools.
Oh well. She's managed to as herself some pertinent questions and unfuck herself enough to leave the cult on her own. With a bit of decompression, she might start asking some other questions, like why the tech never seem to actually work.
How can someone with a strong interest in Scientology who uses the Internet to learn more about it possibly continue to believe in it?
You ask a most excellent question. I believe the answers are here: Social Control in Scientology A look at the methods of entrapment by Bob Penny and here: THOUGHT CONTROL AND SCIENTOLOGY ... i.e., no simple, TL;DR answer to that one
But Wayback makes the save! http://web.archive.org/web/20090309025855/http://seaorg.wind.prohosting.com/ http://web.archive.org/web/20100112064133/http://tomweeks.fire.prohosting.com/
I know. I am still learning and I am learning that it takes all kinds. Example: Former Scientologist Rasmus Gjesdal here still on a cosmic search for truth before and after Scientology. No mention of Scientology here but Google his name and you will he was in the cult. The endless pseudo-intellectual ramblings that he spews makes one wonder if he is a nut as well as a bore. http://gnosisquest.com/rasmus-gjesdal/
Next time one of these VIP Scientologists declares independence, could they please try to do or say something lulzy? It's hard to follow whatever it is they are on about without some lulz in there. Sometimes I wonder if the e-meter is doing something to peoples' sense of humor, cuz it seems pretty toasted by the OT levels. Maybe if anons put their thinking caps on they can come up with a few suggestions for the next Scientology flouncer.
Enturbulated definitely. I think it highly likely they read the letter. She would have been completely stupid not to have cc'd them and they would have no reason to suspect and avoid the contents. The rest? possibly, possibly not. It is also possible that like the author they may start waking up to what's really happening. They know that the details concerning them and their treatment are true and that has to give them pause to think. Her speaking about Freeloader debt is another blow to Co$'s claims and public perceptions. For sure Co$ will be all over them, and whichever way Co$ handle them may backfire. Will they bow to the pressure or will it be the final straw? We won't know unless they speak out. I hope for one outcome, but I am not counting on it. I like that every time one of these letters go out so do more scilons. Some quietly, some noisily but always some more do and even more cracks in the whole facade appear in what's left.
That was exactly the path Robert Dam (Danish ex-clam) took; left, became an indie (his website ot that effect is still up), took courses in an indie org (Ron's org?), asked some pertinent questions about OT abilities and got some honest answers. In his recent book, he describes himself a completely out (and he has been an expert for Danish state TV exposing financial fraud in the Co$). Good for him
and that page is marked as "historic 2004." A crash course in Danish i called for if you would like to verify my reading of the last chapter in his book from 2011 (also pointed to at the site).
I like the following discussion thread very much. YMMV http://kaymilarowe.wordpress.com/2012/09/09/myth-v-s-truth-my-stable-data/comment-page-1/#comment-32
Danger, Will Robinson! Info via Marty: http://markrathbun.wordpress.com/20...tax-at-the-scientology-chapel/#comment-229473
He said/She said, compliments of Marty. If there's an ounce of truth to that line of "reasoning" it would only be due to how much it smacks of the typical OSA - sign off on this statement and maybe we won't make your life a living hell declaration. If there's not, it would only be due to Marty being full of shit, as usual.
Kaye Rowe now claims to be fully out of the Corporate Church of Scientology. Nevertheless, she had recently been Q&Aing, roller-coastering, going back and forth, etc. so at this time I personally wouldn't trust her with any secrets. She is also clearly an Independent Scientologist Her new blog: http://betruth15.wordpress.com/ ABSOLUTE DISCONNECTION FROM SCN INC. http://betruth15.wordpress.com/2012/10/08/assurance-of-disconnection-for-scn-inc/ HT - ESMB: http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthre...of-Scientology&p=736448&viewfull=1#post736448 .
"Drinking the Kool-Aid" is a metaphor commonly used in the United States and Canada that refers to a person or group's unquestioning belief, argument, or philosophy without critical examination. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drinking_the_Kool-Aid
OK, my best translation from IndieSpeak to WogSpeak - Davie uses teeth on my cunt, but in a bad way.Marty licks my cunt and asshole like a pro.I'm betting my eternal salvation on the better hole licker.Hallelujah to the better tongue!.Is it OK to post this upstairs? Or am I in trouble?
She's groping for stability. As of that email, she seems to be trying to find it in being an Indie. Wait, we has secrets??
Well alls I can say is it looks liek she jumped on the fence, maybe got a splinter-in-de-sphicter *shrugs*, at the very least now she'll be able to look around without the regular CoS thought-police telling her what to see/do/think/say.... well there's always Ratbunny's 'thought-police-lite', but fuck peoples, a defection is wonderful, and it cannot be an easy thing for the indoctrinated to come to terms with getting butt-sexed by Cult of Grief, Hubbard, and Moola Inc. ya know.
