  3. When John Sweeney was "invited" into CCI by Tommy for CoS to put forward their side of the story, wasn't Leah one of the celeb scilons (along with Ann Archer) paraded before him to talk about how sweet and wonderful they were?

I figure that would have been late 2006, early 2007 - within a year of the supposed remark at the Cruise wedding. Would Tommy have allowed this if she'd really annoyed DM as much as the rumors are suggesting?

It's on the front page of the NYPost site.
They call it an exclusive which probably explains why they don't credit Tony Ortega.

But in our (sooty black) hearts we'll always know who broke the story first.

Leah Remini leaves Scientology after asking about David Miscavige’s wife - Celebitchy

If it wasn’t for the actual threats and cult reprogramming, I’d kind of think it was funny that Leah’s problems began when she innocently asked about Shelly. Seriously, though, where IS Shelly?!

Meh. An unnamed "source" in that bastion of journalism, the New York Post, followed many echo stories that all cover their asses by saying "as reported in the Post".

There's nothing there that's acceptable for Wikipedia, especially under the strict Bio of Living Person rules.

Leah must be playing poker with cob - leave my family alone or else. The leak is from her for some present time reasons. Or she is in the position to do so. So at least Tony get the wind first.

Actress Leah Remini quits Scientology after 30 years over claims she was forced to have 'thought modification' treatment following incident at Tom Cruise's wedding to Katie Holmes
    • Remini 'berated' at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wedding because she asked the whereabouts of Scientology leader David Miscavige's wife - who hasn't been seen since 2007
    • Actress's family was investigated by church, sources told New York Post
    • However Remini's husband claimed last week that the couple have no disputes with the organization
    • Remini has been a Scientologist since her mother joined in the 1970s and avid defender of movement

I'm no Scilon.... but how do you measure your charge if you are only holding one of the cans. I've never heard of an application where someone holds one can, and writes with a pen at the same time.

Is this PR photo phail or an actual drill I'm not familiar with??

Leah Remini's Crazy Scientology Email? - Gawker

    By Ryan Tate

An email tipster forwards the following Scientology indoctrination message, purportedly from TV star Leah Remini. It reads, "You may know me from 'King of Queens,' but what is more important is that I am now OT V and at one point I was a very stalled Clear," and goes from there. Which is to say, it gets more fun, but also crazier and harder to decipher, so get out your Scientology decoder ring again!

  21. There's a plastic doohickey which makes one can from the two, while separating them so as to not cause a short. Probably costs $100 to replace :)
  22. anonamus Member

According to some Hubbard's HCOB (too lazy to find it) , the "tech" is that with self auditing (done on some OT levels), you hold one can (or is it both?) in one hand and write auditor's notes with the other. The result read on the E-meter should be valid, if done appropriately.
    Yeah right..
The photo is most certainly just a PR stunt taken for the occasion.

Leah Remini Leaves Scientology After Questioning David Miscavige's Leadership - The Hollywood Reporter

Leah Remini is leaving Scientology after questioning its treatment of church members and the controversial, allegedly autocratic leadership of David Miscavige, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

A Church of Scientology representative, asked for comment by The Hollywood Reporter, said "The Church respects the privacy of parishioners and has no comment about any individual Church member."

"BANG Showbiz is the world's premier entertainment news agency providing the most exciting celebrity news to online, print and broadcast media outlets across the globe."

Leah Remini quits Scientology? - BANG Showbiz

    Last three paragraphs:

Remini was mauled by former Scientology Celebrity Centre head Tom Davis earlier this week after she innocently asked on a blog post where David's wife, Shelly - who hasn't been seen in public since 2007 - was during Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in 2006.

The Church of Scientology was founded by American science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard who claimed that extra terrestrial beings were sent to planet Earth by intergalactic ruler Xenu, who then blew up the aliens with hydrogen bombs in a volcano.

These aliens' souls then attached themselves to humans and cause problems that affect the happiness of individuals.

Leah Remini Quit Scientology - The Superficial - Because You're Ugly

As far as I can tell, Leah Remini‘s only job as a Scientologist was to convert Jennifer Lopez which she actually did in 2008, albeit destroying her marriage in the process, but mission accomplished. From there, Leah could’ve claimed her rightful place as a sacred and exalted waxer of Tom Cruise and John Travolta‘s various luxury aircrafts. Instead, she started asking questions like, “What if we didn’t ex-communicate family members who don’t think alien ghosts cause the flu?”; “Did that guy just say slave ships?”; and “Hey, where’s your missing dead wife?” And like any person who starts asking valid questions about her faith, she realized it was bullshit and got the fuck out.

When reached for comment, Tom Cruise's eyes burst into blue energy as he levitated several feet into the air and declared intergalactic war on Clan Remini. “But, first, is that a men’s volleyball tournament? I call No Shirts!”

BAHAHA That's funny enough for it's thread all on it's own.

Yeah they don't comment on church members. But the second they leave and become bitter apostate, then it's fair game. Just ask Tommy Davis. He likes to follow reporters to tell them how criminal these apostates are.

Leah Remini leaving Church of Scientology after interrogations - report - Zap2it

Tony Ortega writes that Remini wrote a "Knowledge Report" about Scientology leader David Miscavige after he snapped at her at Cruise's wedding. She had simply -- albeit loudly -- asked where his wife Shelly Miscavige was at the Nov. 2006 event. Miscavige has only been publicly seen once in the years since, and many believe she is intentionally being kept away from the public. Miscavige's response was to tell her Remini wasn't of high enough rank to know the answer.

    Indies are trying to "
create" news and Ortega seems to run with it - of course that generates visitors to his blog, but come on. There is no a shred of evidence on this Leah Idiotmini crap. And Indies as using it to forward their own agenda as "DM is BAD" "Scn is Good".

Wow, not only is her leaving a major enturbulator, but to have a "Where is Shelly Miscavige"? included in this story too?
    Oh be still my heart!
    Come on Leah! spill!

  36. Plus her twitter, last I checked, is silent. Plus even though the Where's Shelly thing happened in 2007, in 2008 she was talking about Scientology again and using the old canard that Cruise uses "there's bigotry against my religion".

In my opinion, this is going to be like the LMP/PP thing. They pretend to leave but really go back to it.

Bittersweet this. Tortega gets credit for his story, but a typo calls him a Scientologist. Doesn't anyone have a proof
    reader anymore?

Yes, because in all those reports TWG had linked to, the cult comes off smelling like roses.
