Are you interested in finding out how you can have your say on a proposed law that is progressing through Parliament?

Parliament’s Outreach Service is providing a free Public Bill Seminar on Thursday 9 May 2013, for individuals and groups interested in finding out how to engage with Parliament’s scrutiny of legislation.

The Public Bill Seminar will look at

How a bill goes through Parliament

How you can engage with a bill going through Parliament

Pre-legislative stages of a bill

Experts from the Houses of Parliament will be on hand to answer any questions on the parliamentary scrutiny of a bill and give advice on how to track the progress of bills.

Where and when

The event will take place on Thursday 9 May 2013 from 2pm to 4pm in Central Hall, Westminster, Storey's Gate, London, SW1H 9NH. Registration will start from 1.30pm.
