3 things:

1. You can wear any mask you choose....but many of us tend towards the less scary. A hockey mask would fit in , I think.

2. You may want to avoid writing exactly what you will be wearing, as anyone can read this. Handlers will take pics of us, and they can associate your nick with your mask for the future. Of course if you wear something different at the next raid, no problem.

3. Boomboxes are good...assuming you have lulzy tunes. Depending on where we protest next, there may be a noise restriction, so be warned.


If you indeed are a good dancer, you will be the first one to ever appear at a SoCal protest.

Seems like no one's posted an update on LA's plans, so I'll post an update and links!

Currently there is a pol on SoCall to decide whether to do HGB and then Big Blue or just HGB!

And I guess there isn't a set time yet either.

If anyone is in the area closer to OC, please consider attending the Tustin raid, too.

I threw this out on the Tustin thread, but here's a thought. We could do a medical theme and dress in lab coats or like nurses and doctors, to highlight medical abuse in COS, ie. discouraging people from getting real medical attention and getting hooked up to an e-meter or taking vitamins instead. Jeff Jacobsen used to come to protests wearing a green scrub shirt with a name tag that said "Dr. Fake."

I may get flamed for this, but I would like to suggest that folks refrain from using the Jett Travolta death during the protest.

Perhaps folks should tone it down a notch and focus on $cientology's anti-drug practices and beliefs. Also focus on the fact that they practice medicine without a license.

It's only a suggestion. IMHO using Jett's tragic death as a tool or propaganda to protest $cientology would be in very poor taste this soon after his death.

I think most of us feel the same way. I myself would rather talk about Scientology's anti-drug issues then Jett. It's more crucial and a long term issue with our cause.

I do not know how far west of Cerritos you are...but from Cerritos, I would recommend taking the 605 north to the 5 north, then the 101 north/west.
A good exit is Hollywood Blvd...then a few blocks west..there you are. As Snake mentioned, it is the corner of Hollywood and Ivar (Ivar is one block west of Vine). The northwest and northeast corners of Hollywood and Ivar are both scilon buildings....so have your mask on anywhere near them.
The important thing is... get on the 101, as it is the closest freeway to the protest.

I would recommend several parking places...but scilons will read this. Needless to say, there are a ton of places to park. If you can some a little early, you may have a chance to choose one that you feel comfortable with. I personally would not park very close to the protest.

Also, check back here..we may visit another site or 2 that day...so you can see where we are if you cannot find us.
