The ex king spent 84 million in the year and a half he’s been in power. Recently he took a 2 month leave of absence for medical reasons and quietly married a Russian beauty queen.

The kingship is rotated between several Malay royals, a quiet meeting was held recently and they may have told him to abdicate or be removed.
    Succession isn’t clear.

The abdication comes when the civilian prime minister has been chipping away at the power of the royalty. He had placed the Sedetion Act on a moratorium until the abdication. The country is multiracial with the Malays 60% in power and owning most of the wealth. Chinese are 20% and Indians 7% and the push to equally distribute the wealth is stopped by the Conservitive Muslim Maylays
    It’s the new hot spot.
