PROTESTING MANCHESTER'S CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY 12th MARCH 2011 An excellent protest against the cult of Scientology. I Tony Leigh a parent protest outside the The Church of Scientology every Month, and today i was told by community Policeman that i would be arrested and my car put in a compound if my signs on my car were not removed. I then spoke to a real Policeman and he checked my signs and he agreed with me that my signs are all ok. He then went to see Sam Butler head of PR for the cult and informed him that my signs were NOT THREATENING, and i was to put my car back. I did and we got on with the protest. WIN, WIN, WIN.
Was just going to start a thread, Tony. The headline would have been something like "Tony (getbeckyout) Stands Up to Police Harrassment For the Win!" Good on you brother.
Thanks mate, i am not playing soft ball with these hobby cops anymore. The true policeman was brilliant. If Manchester council want to save money then sack that dick head.
Well done all who showed up. One slight problem which is causing some confusion, well lots of confusion actually. The MANCHESTER POST RAID 12th MARCH 2011 is in the Scientology Protest Planning Thread http://forums.whyweprotest.net/forums/global-protest-planning.258/ and not in the Scientology Post-Raid Thread http://forums.whyweprotest.net/forums/post-game-reports.266/. Gomez appears to be totally confused, as he has already started a thread http://forums.whyweprotest.net/threads/manchester-post-game-12-03-2011.77824/. I presume this is all the work of Grimlock, just to confuse everybody. Maybe a mod can sort this out and sort out Grimlock as well.
Tony Leigh is a great man who stood up, was counted, fought the cult for his daughter and won. Respect. Community police threatening his freedom of speech - very offensive.
Awww...Chernobyl tortoise? Also, "community police." Are these a species of "sub-police" that will notify the real PD if need be?
Raid was fun, except for the part where a full, open can of beer was launched out of a passing car at me. Saved by my mad deflecting skillz with the honk sign, but sign took a bit of a beating. :/
Glad my sign cold be of assistance Gonna make a better one for next time anyhow. What I want to know is, was the person who threw it a scientologist or just a random nutter?! btw: I decided on a new /nick that doesn't sound exactly like anarchyanon!
Hi folks. Pretty interesting raid I thought, more than the usual (zero) interaction with Scientologists - Sam came out to talk to Tony, I asked him if he knew who I was yet and he said "I know you're strobe, why would I need to know more than that?". So OSA doesn't try to identify anons? Wow. He looked healthier than recent months which is good to see and was being nicer with everyone than previous months. Then there was a man who came up and started asking about the masks, and I started to go in to why we were protesting and he said he was a Scientologist. I got quite a few topics covered, each time he wasn't having any of it of course, and got rather heated over the fact I didn't have evidence with me (and wouldn't accept that they'd sue me if I brought it) and finished by telling me I should be protesting the governments instead because they were the suppressive ones, not CoS. Eventually (as always) someone came and opened the front door and he went inside. Great to have the chance to speak to him though. Plus then there was the guy with the IAS jacket who was aggressive at Tony. The thing with the CSO was ridiculous, I felt sorry for him towards the end because he was standing there looking so undermined and powerless. Can thrower would have been a random nutter, we saw enough of them throughout the raid. My caramelldansen needs practice. Altogether too much huggotry. Mood of the raid was good throughout bar the police nonsense, but picked up even more towards the end, got some good (and bad) dancing going and it may have been partially down to the lack of Fuckeye but we went on past 3! After the initial hunt for a post-raid venue and once anons had managed to seperate themselves from their phones the post-raid was pretty awesome. Camerafag and others got a lot of photos and good footage so I didn't take too many, but I'll upload some of what I did get soon. Once camerafags' are up I'll begin work on a Jan/Feb/March vid... Will obviously take me a while though. So yeah, cheers everyone for an all round damn successful day. Special thanks for camerafag's generosity, spacewhale's doughnuts, Tony's video coverage and you wonderful dancing fags. Manchester - most definitely #Winning
Hahahaaa, winnnn. It's a pity you didn't record the initial distraction before we unleashed our nefarious plot.
Those gentleman in the bright yellow suits explain how scientology has helped stop them fucking their legions of adoring fans (seriously!)
Re strobe. Strobe I Have a thick file full of evidence, I bring it to the raids and its for everyone to use should this happen in the future. I did not know this had happened. Please let me know strobe the stuff you put to him and what he wants proof of. Does anyone know the guys name or even a photo?
