My personal fav from the Headley amended complain (dunno if it differs from original, but I just love this one):

19) Defendant CSI, and Does, have a duty to inform employees of their rights under the labor laws. Not only did CSI not advise employees of rights, CSI mislead its employees about their rights. Workers such as Plaintiff Headley were told that Scientology does not have to pay them minimum wage or give them any rights because “it’s a church”, and/or workers have waived rights. Plaintiff came to accept such misinformation while working for CSI. Defendant CSI has been on notice that workers are entitled to at least the protection of Federal labor laws since the publication of the Alamo case in 1985, however, CSI has failed to follow the labor laws or give its workers proper notice of their true legal rights under labor laws. Tony & Susan Alamo Foundation v. Sec. of Labor, 471 US 290 (1985).

Also... In the amended Mark Headley Complaint there are a few typo's and or things that might need to be corrected.

On Page 6 line 25 it says her where it should say him

Then on Page 13 section c) lines 9&10 need a 2nd look... there are just some things that look like errors...

And Page 19 section 48) Line 12 another case of her, she..ect wher it should be him his

Great lawsuit!
I am thrilled to see this being done to hold C of S accountable.

When I was on staff at Paris Org, France in 1977-79 I worked about 90-100 hours a week and was paid about an average of $16-$35 a week. I had to spend my own savings and also work at art sales outside the org to cover my expenses of rent, food, etc. I often had to also purchase supplies for my part of the organization (Qualifications, Division 5) as there was no money for that after Hubbard, Management and org rent was paid.

like exOT8michael said, I also was on staff earning a tiny wage, smetimes no pay when stats were down.
I worked in the Qual division making certificates.
Really nice ones actually for OT's and NOTS completions etc.
A public asked me about having his framed and did get a few on the certificates framed in a shop in East Grinstead but felt sooooooo guilty about it, altho it was some big overt.
Fact is I had no money to buy essential cleaning products and things you just need to keep yourself clean and tidy.
Thats why most Sea Org staff somehow looked scruffy and smelly.

^^this^^ as well as filling their heads with brainwashing indoctrination, this effectively makes the victims 'outcasts' as far as functioning in the 'real' wog world', and there-by creating dependence upon the Co$ as 'parent'. This sort of shit makes me angry as hell, really it does.

f) working minors employees at illegal hours at illegal tasks.

Co$ has enslaved its work force, and children, because in their weird and twisted take on reality are just 'Thetans in little bodies' are left to the mercy of what-ever sick shitty abuse they can come up with. When the kids have been abused they are either scared into shutting up (common pedo crap), moved away from their families (hidden), or ignored. The abusers are (and have been) protected and harboured as long as they serve some sort of usable function or have the money to keep contributing.
I cannot imagine the horrors that many of these kids (past and present) have gone through, and it makes me sick to my stomach to think that this den of cultists has so much control over the parents, the ones who are supposedly the raisers and guardians of the children, as to convince them that they (Co$) is better and more capable of giving their kids the love and education and attention they need, that all children need. There is a tonne of testimoney that substantiates the utter lack of care given to the parishoner's (victims) kids, the abuses, the substandard education, all of it. This is WHY WE PROTEST!, this is why I ain't leaving this fight 'til its over, and the moar I learn the better I get at putting the pieces of this sordid puzzle together. (blather burble etc. grrrrrrrrr)

Larry's comment (linked above ^^^) is worth repeating in full here:

One of the things I liked best about these is that they ask for permanent injunctions banning organized scientology from carrying out some of their most abusive practices on staff such as forced abortions, avoiding child care issues etc.

These two updated complaints tell of many of the main lies of organized scientology with respect to their staff and the complete horrors of what the truth really shows.

The difference between saying all that in different posts here on the internet and in these complaints are that the complaints are a real attempt at justice where something can actually be done about it.

IMHO if anyone can help with these two cases that would be time well spent in dealing with the exposure and eventual elimination of abuses within organized scientology.

For one thing, in my opinion people who are recently out and who might like to be part of such cases should contact the attorney Barry Van Sickle and let him know.

Some people, as well as the bad guys, are probably curious about this becoming a class action. I believe that the answer is that this has class action potential but no final decision has been made on trying to move this into a class.

At the very least there are many people who could be witnesses in these actions. My gawd if 1% of the detail found on such places as XSO and ex scientologists and ex scientology kids about staff abuses could be covered in these cases it would be total win!

Who, who was there, is willing to tell the courts of seeing DM beat others, of witnessing sub standard staff conditions, forced abortions, abuses to prevent people from leaving staff, private personal information used against staff to stop them from speaking out, disconnection used for same, etc?

Right here, right now, in these cases, we have a chance to END those abuses and truly call DM and others to justice.

Only in the shadows of things unsaid can DM and organized scientology continue to exist with all their abuses.

Anyone with real first hand information willing to tell the truth as above should contact Barry Van Sickle.

This may be a long shot but I can tell you now what information given to Barry would be hugely important to stopping the abuses. I am sure that Barry would like to know who has been contacted by OSA and threatened with reprisals. This would be HUGE! I have heard that OSA is even trying to get people to sign agreements not to join or help in the Headleys' cases. Information along these lines would be very, very helpful to Barry!

This battle is being joined. I know, for example, that Graham Berry has volunteered to help with this and I know of others helping.

I cannot stress too much what an opportunity this is to speak out now and truly DO SOMETHING about all the abuses such as those who want to help contacting the attorney Barry as they may be able to help out as a witness. I'm in for this and I ask all other fellow ex Sea Org staff, and current ones too, who have first hand information of the types of lies/abuses contained in these complaints to contact Barry Van Sickle now and take a stand as well.

We CAN help end DM's reign of terror against staff. Who better than us to support this and help those like Marc, Claire and Barry who have taken a stand to fight for our rights and the rights of all being abused there now?

There is a lot that cannot be said in these forums that you can go over with the attorney and others privately. As for what is said above, well DM et al you can just stew on it as there is nothing you can do to stop the truth from coming out eventually.

It has been a busy past week. Here's an update on the cases.
My attorney just amended my complaint and I have posted a link to it here.

Marc Headley vs. Church of Scientology International 2nd Amended Complaint - Fullscreen

Anyone who reads the complaint in full will appreciate the latest revisions. For those who have been keeping track of this case, you will note that we have been taking suggestions under consideration after reviewing the case law and legal definitions involved.

Particularly interesting are the human trafficking “indicators” as laid out in the penal code for law enforcement.

“As set forth in Penal Code §236.2, the “indicators”
of human trafficking are as follows:
a) Signs of trauma, fatigue, injury, or other evidence of poor care.
b) The person is withdrawn, afraid to talk, or his or his communication is censored by another person.
c) The person does not have freedom of movement.
d) The person lives and works in one place.
e) The person owes a debt to his or his employer.
f) Security measures are used to control who has contact with the person.
g) The person does not have control over his or his own government-issued identification or over his or his
worker immigration documents.”

It is almost like the Int Base had that as their checklist for normal employee conditions!

In addition to working on my case, my lawyer had several meetings with other past employees from Scientology. Since the scilons have hired private investigators to keep tabs on both me and my attorney, they are well aware of these meetings. Eugene Ingram was spotted at one of the meetings my attorney was having and someone else was ghosting him at the LA County Court House as well. For any of those who do not know him – links for you.

Shorty after being kicked off the LAPD force, Ingram was hired by Scientology and has been working for them ever since. Anyway, he has been poking around.

OSA are becoming very frustrated over how to end this and their stats have been crashing full time since Anonymous has come on the scene. Scientologists are writing into OSA about the shoops they find when googling their favorite terror midget!

The "or his" parts sound odd and may have been repeated. Of course im not a lawyer and don't know the legal lingo so it may be right.

Cult depos are always such a good source of lulz (the Ward/Henson and the Londsale depos are two of my favs).

Actually, thinking about it, BFG probably can't post anything till the depositions are over and scilon depositions are not well known for being brief and to the point.
