My lawyer (Barry van Sickle) said that he just happened to see some guy was hanging around his car. When Barry went to leave is his car he found a lug nut missing and another one loosened. Looks like each morning will now involve a vehicle walk around and check of the wheels.

Doubt that this was a random act of vandalism. I mean, who does this anymore? This is DC9 tech all the way.

Getting more specifics and will post when I have them.

Yea I agree on this one. This is not saying a scilon did it. It is just a weird thing that we should not be afraid of happening to us. Nobody is blaming anyone. Just reporting something that actually caused NO DAMAGE.

Yes, this is true. And the suprise inspection that we got from Child Services based on a phone tip they got that my two children were being endangered was also just a random act. No damage was done there either, but it took me 2 days to get my wife to chill out.

When you get followed by PI's all the time, freinds become plants or double agents and crazy shit just happens, TFS (tin foil syndrome) sets in and ya know...

Exactly. The most "dangerous" SPs that OSA targets are listed on a "war board" in OSA's offices in the HGB.

When a black op against an SP has been successfully executed, and noted on the board, the Scilon that executed the op is rewarded with a mini Snickers bar (like you find during Holloween).

And everyone of the bars are accounted for.. no room for sneaking a snack here & there.

Just because you know nothing about cars and learned everything from watchin Dukes of Hazzard does not mean this is a real issue. When driving your car, pay attention to the RED WARNING LIGHTS

If someone did cut your brake line, you would notice it after leaving the driveway when you have no brake pressure and the red light comes on. Even if they somehow nicked the line/hose to somehow magically have it fail at just the right moment (except maybe for CA freeway stop and go) you have a transmission and a parking brake, and worst case might be a fender bender. In fact, you should already know if your parking brake works well by going 15 mph and applying the brake hard to make sure you do in fact lock up your rear tires. (In automatics, you might put into neutral). It's a good check especially if you have drums in the rear.

A more serious threat is something in your gas tank that cause your engine to seize up while driving down the freeway when you lose power braking and power steering. (Like idiots that drive with an oil light or temp light on).

Not to make less of this or say it wasn't intentional tampering.. It is also possible the lugs got loose either from vibration (when was the last time the tire was off/on) or the last tire place didn't do it tight enough.

It could be this suspicious person was an angel and alerted Van Sickle to loose lug nuts. So this could also be a blessing in disguise.

Also, you'd be surprise how long you can drive with only three lugs. The more serious risk then a missing lug, is half of them loose a 1mm or so because you can shear the studs and lose the tire. I've also had a whole wheel hub fall off at highway speeds and it is relatively safe as long as your are a good driver and it is not your front wheel that goes.

Marc, I fully believe that you, Claire, Laura and Barry are likely at the top (or near the top) of the cult's list of SP's to harass. I think we all know you're at the pointy edge of the movement. You certainly have my sympathy and rage and admiration and prayers.

I was hoping just to forestall the usual raging debate over the same issues - evidence v tinfoil. In your case, I don't need any more evidence to offer you my support and concern. Neither you nor Barry is asking anything else. Hence, we don't need to have the usual debate.

We don't need to have a debate over what security measures you and Barry have in place. Because we don't want them to know what evidence they'll be leaving behind when/if they try any hanky panky.

It's important to reiterate from time to time that one of the goals of harassment is to make you look paranoid, thus discrediting you. Yeah, they do nasty shit. Yeah, they try to make sure there's no 'proof' they did it. Yeah, I do think they hope some SP will die as a result (and the tech teaches scilons to think, in such a case, that it was really an elaborate suicide).

Nonetheless, they can achieve their aim even if every attempt fails - that is, they can make us look like loonies, crying 'OSA' every time we see someone shady walk by. I've fallen victim to the tin foil phenomenon myself on occasion.

They are aggressive assholes. But if you get distracted and just point at the patterns of shady behavior we observe and shout 'SEE?! THAT'S SCIENTOLOGY!' we get distracted from pointing out what they don't want us to point out: namely, that Scientology doesn't work, and that it defrauds people.

It seems that while healthy skepticism is in order, could this same healthy skepticism be helping to accomplish the goal of OSA? The goal being to make the victim look like a tin foil wearing loon to others? - (note for the slow witted - i am not saying to ditch the skepticism.)

I think it is wise to follow every report of suspected tampering, poisoning, etc. with links to the Paulette Cooper case and other proven incidences where scifags DID do such things. Point out how such things are LRH policy.

Maybe even point out the fact they must use such means to shut up critics because their whole show is a scam and they cant have anyone believing the critics whe they say Scientology doesn't work.

I agree with the camera suggestions. Video is powerful proof. Enough "moments" captured on camera from many different sources will also prove that the cult endorses/condones that activity preventing the cult from claiming the caught were acting of their own free will.

I would have at least one camera aimed at your car at home. I would also consider putting in a camera in the car, aimed out the back so you can tape those that are following you. And possibly another looking across the passenger seat out the drivers window with audio to capture those up-close and personal exchanges.

And if I were in your shoes, the computer I use to backup my evidence, I would have a camera aimed at that computer and it emailed its pictures to an online email account so they can't steal your evidence of them breaking in.

Be paranoid. It's better than being dead. Also if your paranoia bears fruit, it could be useful for all those that are harassed by the cult.

I could hazard a guess as to why on this one.

Might it be that these cases (Marc's, Claire's and Laura's) all run by Barry Van Sickle are a potential knock out blow to organized scientology as we know it? You know, the potential to end the Sea Org, staff life in the USA as they know it, the ability of Little Dickee to take almost all the orgs' money each week, the ability of organized scientology to hide abuses from the public behind religious cloaking and corporate veils, the ability of David Miscavige to run and abuse a worldwide network of virtual slaves?

I could go on and on here but IMHO these cases have the potential to rock David Miscavige's world of lies and abuse even more than losing tax exempt status from the IRS, the French fraud case, etc.

Since 1981 I have seen Miscavige go ape shit over nothing at all. For example horribly abusing someone who did nothing wrong at all or seeing so much as a "downstat" as a "willful attack" on Miscavige and/or Hubbard. Or dreaming up all kinds of evil motivations for people just trying to get out the truth. Imagine how nutty he can go when there is a real threat of him losing power.

My guess here? The dwarf sees the potential end of his reign in these suits and what can follow these suits and he is going even more bat shit crazy to stop them than he normally is (which is saying A LOT).

I have read like others on here how some of the GO folks met and actually considered killing Paulette Cooper for "the greatest good" and then at least took actions to try to get her imprisoned or to kill herself. I've known some of those people and, as nutty as they were, they are NOTHING compared to David Miscavige on the "Fujita Nutball Scale" where Miscavige is a raving F5.

Are the two examples listed of the lug nuts and report to child care examples of OSA fair game dirty tricks? Of course I do not know but in this case I honestly suspect they are. I have seen Miscavige carry out dirty tricks before and these are nothing compared to what I know him to be able to do.

As far as I am concerned, I am 100% with Barry, Marc, Claire and Laura on all this and will do whatever I can to support them. (And this includes moral support right now when their lives (as in the car example) may be at risk and their family is under attack (as in the complaint to child services re Marc's and Claire's children)).
