I never said I spoke for everybody, troll. I didn't take the video down.. it's on private viewing. And I don't take orders from anons or Scilons. If some LV anons are genuinely concerned with being facefagged in a video, then I understand them wanting the video down. If I saw it as some asswipes trying to control the situation, I would have ignored requests to remove it. That said, I will be hard pressed to edit or remove videos in the future that have already been uploaded. Those that don't want to be facefagged need to take some personal responsibility to be discreet. I never make it a point to look for un-masked critics to film them, however, some anons have become so comfortable not wearing a mask, they no longer wear one, and they shouldn't whine if they're filmed or photographed. If you are unmasked and among a group of people, or where Scilons or their PIs are in a protest that I am attending, you're probably going to end up in one of my videos. Be warned. I don't bow to pressure from Scilons who don't want to be filmed, and I won't bow to pressure from anyone else that's happy as a clam protesting in a public venue unmasked, but don't want to be seen in a video or photograph.
To my understanding, the problem is they WERENT protesting unmasked. They were unmasked at dinner afterward (why you were filming that I have no idea). So maybe you should just be less of a dick.

A one day trip to a Gold Base protest is physically and mentally exhausting. Smurf, when we arrived, you and most of everyone else watched us mask up before we got out of the car. In fact we made it quite clear we protect our identity. By the time we got to the restaurant we were dehydrated, tired and hadn't eaten in 24 hours. Maybe you should have told us that you were filming, I sure didn't know! Had I known, my face would have been covered. That is the biggest crock of shit, I've ever seen. Middle aged facefags cannot protest for long without sitting down in the nearest restaurant after (me include). Some are even against masks. I'm generalizing so no offense to any particular person. So don't expect them to understand why you paint your face, wear your mask, and didn't drink or wipe your sweat for a couple of hours. Sure they know fair game, but don't connect. For anons, fair game may be the same now and back in 2008. If you are not careful you may get the short straw. And don't estimate the entubulation if they don't know who you are, and the waste of time and money and labor to find out. So anonymous is still way better to go, if you bother. My generalized experience. I don't even want to appear on the CCTV when everybody want to eat after a long trip before the protest. But I have no transport. The alternative is to sit and watch with my mask on and costume like an oven. I gave up and ate a free meal instead.

First time I've posted in this thread. Serious questions for Smurf (not trolling): 1. Of all people, with your background in OSA, why would you video a dinner? It wasn't a protest, it was a group of people getting together to chill/relax/eat, etc. 2. Chanology is 3 yrs old now. What part of people wishing to remain anonymous are you not understanding? I am asking this sincerely. 3. When people ask you, privately and politely, to take it down, why would you put their safety at risk? The issue with the mirrors isn't an excuse.
I can't speak for Smurf (and I was thinking the same thing about videoing peoples' faces, but figured it was far enough away to be unidentifiable) but I believe he was trying to video the toasts made in honor of Ida Camburn. Smurf videoed the memorial for Sean Carasov a while back, and people seemed to appreciate that, so I believe he felt this was along the same lines.

The "anon" is being ribbed about his photo by his friends on Facebook. He hasn't worn a mask in over 2 years. He's often referred to at protests, particularly Scientology handlers and HGB guards, by his real name.
