Currently, ∼80% of newly diagnosed patients present with no clinical evidence of metastatic disease (1). Most of these patients are treated either with radical prostatectomy, external beam radiation, or brachytherapy. Data from uncontrolled studies suggest that 30% to 50% of patients treated with local modalities of treatment will show evidence of biochemical (PSA) relapse during a 10-year follow-up period (2–5)" So a diagnosis of prostate cancer in its early stages doesn't mean metastatic disease. And the man should wait abouit 10 years before deciding he is cured. Note added: I don't see that his kidney failure had anything to do with the prostate cancer, which is normally a contained cancer, and he hasn't said it had anything to do with it either. The kidney statement appears completely unrelated.

How about this - if he had 18 tests, and the accuracy of the test is 94%, then there was about a 1 in 20 chance that at least one test would (inaccurately) show cancer. Re: Marty can cure prostate cancer... I hope this guy doesn't drop his doctor's orders for post treatment, like some sci's do. Positive thinking does help because the body's under such intense stress. If the patient is also mentally stressed, it exponentially compounds the physical stress and immune system. So I'm glad this guy got a mental boost. Obviously he still isn't thinking straight, but he didn't actually say all his medical help wasn't part of his getting better. And yes, cancer and/or it's treatments can cause kidney failure. But if he doesn't follow his doctor's order from here on out, he'll likely not make it. And of course "someone" will say he was PTS. So many sci's die from cancer because they do nothing until it's terminal, or do something, then get auditing, attribute their remission due to auditing, and drop medical treatment, and die, horribly. Oh wait, they call it "dropping the body". Sick.

Re: Marty can cure prostate cancer... Alternative medicines do not work. Hence why they are called alternative, don't you think if they worked science would have accepted them as treatments? The whole reason they're called alternative is because they don't fit the scientific method and most of them cannot be tested (e.g., spiritual healing). After all, if it wasn't for aspects of naturopathy we wouldn't have aspirin. Rejecting mainstream science and medicine because some guy said he has a snake oil cure is moronic, and I really have no sympathy for people who do it.

Quack healers who make those kinds of claims here (Ausfailia) are breaking the law and can be reported to the state health department and/or the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

He must have had a lot of complications with it and felt very vulnerable, so his alternative was Auditing on NOTs. This is an alternative way on the bridge. But what I want to know is if Marty put the guy's nuts on the cold cans, and aimed for the belly button?
