It was nolle prossed less than 48 hours later. That means whatever he did wasn't even considered worth bothering to prosecute.

I agree. In my eyes he gains a couple of points for this for showing that he is human and can fuck up in pursuit of having a good time just like any one. No homo-novis super being here.
  13. Re: Marty Public Confession: Adventure in New Orleans

I’m fairly new here and I don’t know much about Marty, I just fear Scilons are in this forum pretending to be Anonymous supporters. We need to take care that Scilons don’t persuade us to act against our best interests. I’m not accusing anyone, I’m just worried.

he got out on a $600 bond..and he will pay a few hundred dollars on a couple of fines.
reasonably easy to have it expunged off any record.

several Anti-Marty sites..as well as Scientology Myth Forum (and Louanne's site)are alluding to some kind of grand cover up..
    heres one title....MARK C. RATHBUN ARREST COVER-UP!
of course they won't dare show the actual documents.

what Scientology wants them to think
Marty is Scientology's Public Enemy #1 His crimes are Epic -How dare the New Orleans Police release him!

and reality are too often two different things.

Marty Should have listened to his father...all those years ago.

That site looks to me like a site run by the CO$, here’s
    MARK C. RATHBUN ARREST COVER-UP!
The URL calls Marty a squirrel. The quote below is what I’d expect a Scientologist from the CO$ to write.
    This is also clearly CO$

It's the same thing that Hubbard called himself, did you expect him to tell the police he's a con man?

Yes, exactly. You will not get back through the wall of fire and survive unless you have this one very attribute. And you will be tested.

Is this the planned heroic disclosure?

Easy. Nothing in that post is a heroic disclosure.
  35. Re: Marty Public Confession: Adventure in New Orleans

I’m not pro Rathbun, I think freezone Scientology is irrational like CO$ Scientology, just less abusive/not abusive. Still I want to do the man justice. He is a leader of a freezone Scientology group and has CO$ private investigators looking for any minor or major transgression that he does. How many of us could withstand that type of scrutiny without doing anything problematic once every 5/6 years or so?

For him trying to to sell DMSMH to passersby is no confession matter, that goes in the "just trying to help" category.

Re: Marty Public Confession: Adventure in New Orleans

What you said is true. But still, after going public as he did, and as a grown man who just got married, he did do something really stupid by getting drunk and belligerent.
He was trying to place himself in a position of leader of a "religious" offshoot group, and doing shit like that makes him look not so good. It is just as well, because nobody needs another DM, and it is good that he did humble himself. I have to say that it was nice to see a lot of people accept his apology and also feel a bit of relief that they can be imperfect and okay.

I would respect him more if he would think of others more and go to the Feds to talk about what is really going on, and what he himself did when in Co$.

First, he needs to just Acknowledge that he was abusive and did abusive things to others. He has stated that he was abused and how damaging it was to him.
Now is the time for him to go to those whom he abused and sincerely ask them for their apology for having abused them.

He should be directed to a local Alcoholics Anonymous chapter in his area where he can learn the 12 steps.
  39. Re: Marty Public Confession: Adventure in New Orleans

Yea and Marty is so irresponsible. He tried to walk across the road and did not look both ways. He is a bad man and i hope my attempt at character assassination works on you like it has in the past because i am ever so subtle and unobvious...

    That is all. Carry on.
