Yeah dude - I was totally donning my tin-foil hat and speculating that Hey-Hey/Anonymous was OSA. It would make sense - what with the trying to get us to continue fighting and trying to turn melbanon against you.

However, "confirmation" is more than I'd be willing to say.

Also, I'm pretty sure the mods aren't too fond of the "OSA" word being bandied around - even if it's probably true. Likely because it can be misused/abused with people being labeled as OSA when actually they're just saying something unpopular and/or they're a fail-troll.

But anyhoo it's a hypothesis I myself have been considering - and either their last post is genuine and they really are a garden-variety fail-troll, or possibly they're trying to come across as less OSA-ish so they can try to do the wedge-between-anons thing at a later stage.

No doubt whatever happens it will involve copious amounts of fail and plenty of entertaining banter...possibly about drop bears.

You're right, I lack empathy for somebody who cracks open a copy of Dianetics where in the introduction it says "this book has improved the lives of millions" and thinks to themselves "well that must be true because it says so, let's read on". I lack empathy for anyone who ignores multiple obvious problems with what they are involved in year in year out and when and if they finally do they are a "victim". I lack empathy for the exces who having left still think the tech works (not necessarily Paul). I lack empathy for victims, because victim worship is bullshit. It gets drummed into our heads by modern media because they don't want us to pay attention to any real issues: such as the mechanisms that generate some victims. I lack empathy for victims of their own stupidity.

On the subject of parenting in scn: no of course I haven't met every single on of them. That's ridiculous. It's a generalisation. But neither have I EVER read a personal account that said "my childhood in scn was awesome". Yes scientologists are generally bad parents for letting themselves be sucked into long hours when they should be rearing their kids, for signing them over to the SO at age 14 etc etc. Those few that talk about getting their kids out of the SO are also bad parents. They may have told their kids to not talk to stranges or to not take what's not theirs. But they din't tell them to say "no" when a man from a made-up navy tells them they can be a part of a mission to "clear" the galaxy, because they don't know any better. Because they read Dianetics and thought it was something that can work.

And no never did I say anon should withdraw support to Paul or any other exces. I wouldn't even put it in those terms, because it's not about support. They come to the protests now (took them a year or two to do that), which is great, but don't be fooled. These are damaged people and we often think and speak very different things, whilst being under the impression we understand one another. This is because they are ex-culties and we are not. Simple.

So if you want to admire somebody who thought dianetics was great at one stage in their lives - that's great. I think you're kidding yourself.

Might want to factor in the general fear the cult is so good at instilling in their [strike]members[/strike]sheeples, it might make more sense. Most of the ex's have come around to, at the very least, realising that the 'tech' is crap, exceptions being the ones who still drink Lron's piss-laden koolaides (FZ'rs). I'm sure there are thousands of ex's out there who just want to put it all behind them and have lives to live, don't/aren't paying attention to the current (and recently past protests), but I have noticed that many, many more are finding their voices, this cannot be a bad thing.
