But the building-up is what makes the fanfare part so awesome! Imagine having 12 minutes of gorgeous choir singing and string playing and then BRASS TIME BRASS TIME CELLOS IN THE BACKGROUND THIS IS WHAT JUSTICE SOUNDS LIKE. Gimme a little while and I'll add them. EDIT: I'll also include some other symphony songs I think would be cool.
That is the best description I've ever heard. Ever. EDIT: My bad homies, "The Final Countdown" and "What is Love" are both DRM'd in these playlists, but I'm too lazy to redo them. Get the aforementioned songs from [link removed] My playlists: 2101.zip [link removed] - FYI: A rar of copyrighted music is still copyrighted music. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Trans-Siberian Orchestra - 1812 Overture (short version) Desmond Dekker - Keep A Cool Head Operation Ivy - Knowledge Iggy & the Stooges - Search and Destroy The Aquabats - Super Rad Europe - The Final Countdown DJ Anonymous - so i herd u liek musics Dropkick Murphys - Never Alone Stray Cats - Rock This Town Bad Religion - New Dark Ages Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc. Okay, here's sum orchestra I wrangled up for you guys. A lot of these aren't very danceable, but they could get attention because some of them are cultural classics. Use them creatively if you like them. [link removed] The Scheherazade suite by Rimsky-Korsakov. It's quite possibly the most emotional collection of music ever, so Anons who like orchestra will like this - not to mention the first movement was in Clockwork Orange, and anyone who interrupts during a symphony song is a douchebag. Movement 1 starts at about 24 seconds in, so if you have mp3-fixing tools at your disposal you might want to cut off that and the three minutes of applause that happens at the end of movement 4. [link removed] This one has two versions of 1812 Overture (be careful with the cannon version!), three versions of Dance of the Knights (Prokofiev), The Flight of the Bumblebee and "Introduction" by Strauss (that one song in 2001: A Space Odyssey that isn't the slow waltz one). [link removed] A small collection of songs that were used in cartoons such as Ren and Stimpy, as well as old propaganda films in the mid-20th century. ANYONE - especially people in the United States - should be able to recognize these right away because they've just been used so much. Most of them are extremely lighthearted, so these might be ones to play when you start getting bullbaited. Film for lulz.
Mmmm classic. I'd love some Chopin, I've recently gotten into him, but it might be more fun with Bel Air and such. I can't bring music anyway, so I shouldn't even rant about really... eDIT: In after 'zomg pr0n!'
Here's my finalized list of music that I'll be bringing to the /B/oston raid...but I'm still open for change. Suggestions/improvements would be wonderful. Order is tentative. 1. Robot Theme Song - The Aquabats [was considering putting on the Imperial March as we walked to the church and then figured it was a bad idea] 2. Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley 3. Super Rad! - The Aquabats 4. Space Oddity - David Bowie 5. Far Cry - Rush 6. Gay Bar - Electric Six 7. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - Will Smith [who is also, sadly, a scientologist] 8. Weballergy - Sonata Arctica 9. Still Alive - GLaDOS [you know, the awesome robot from Portal] 10. Brothers of Metal - Manowar 11. Serpent's Kiss - Symphony X 12. Electric Version - The New Pornographers 13. Lost In Space - Avantasia 14. Party Hard - Andrew WK 15. Peace of Mind - Boston 16. Holy Thunderforce - Rhapsody 17. Danger! High Voltage - Electric Six 18. Less Talk More Rokk/Brainpower - Freezepop [I can't decide which] 19. Music - J. Storm [hooray for Eurobeat] 20. Hybrid Moments - The Misfits 21. Breaking The Silence - Queensryche 22. Through the Fire and Flames - DragonForce 23. Wave of Mutilation - Pixies 24. CHOWKLIT RAIN - Tay Zonday 25. Ballroom Blitz - Sweet 26. SOS - Stratovarius 27. Judas - Yngwie Malmsteen 28. California Uber Alles - Dead Kennedys 29. Foreplay/Long Time - Boston 30. What Is Love - Haddaway 31. Thunderhorse - Dethklok 32. Shipping Up to Boston - Dropkick Murphys 33. Let's Drink - Korpiklaani 34. Under A Glass Moon - Dream Theater 35. Nothin' But A Good Time - Poison 36. Blank File - Sonata Arctica 37. Go With The Flow - Queens of the Stone Age 38. Pizza Day - The Aquabats 39. Dawn Over A New World - DragonForce
Thanks for these! Good stuff. Also. +1 to the scissoring/Anon pr0n. EFG: I suggest Less Talk More Rokk. It fits in with the whole "no talky" bit, and it spells "Rock" with two k's, which makes it hardcore. Mod Edited to remove links from quote.
The .rars I posted include one that doesn't have the cannons, for the sake of noise laws and such. Also uploaded it to the 420chan thread. We are still in need of the Imperial March song from Episode IV, though. EDIT: I listened to the non-cannon version, and realized it kind of sucks. My bad.
Imperial march posted. ericbauman, good stuff, will add to the list (i really need to organize it ^^)
I would suggest "Revenge of Xenu" but it's a semi-satirical work and would be considered offensive due to extreme language. But in case anyone wants to hear it for their own personal enjoyment, feel free to download! http://www.mediafire.com/?9bqzmyugqfb "Hello humans, this is Xenu. Don't try lying, because I've seen you. Here reveling my once expensive secrets, Believe me people, I'm as freaking real as Jesus. For a thousand measly dollars, I can teach you how to follow Our directions for better living. But no drugs, no sex, and we get one of your kidneys (sign here!) If you give us your life savings, you'll receive a much higher ranking (and a keychain). And more status among the members means you get the better parking at the center. L Ron Hubbard fucked his mother (ugh) then his father (oh god), then his brother (yeah, I knew that one). Then his uncle tried to kiss him (aww), so to escape it he wrote the gayest science fiction. Then he came up with a system which he named his new religion. The only problem, he was lying, and only movie stars were dumb enough to buy it. 'On this very day, 75 million years ago, I, Xenu, galactic ruler of the galactic confederacy, brought billions of people to earth. I stacked them around volcanoes and using the power of psychiatry, I froze them in place. And then I blew them up with hydrogen bombs. Their souls were clustered together and stuck to the bodies of the living. Honestly, what do you humans think has been causing all this chaos and havoc since the begin of time? (I dunno, black people? Yeah, black people!) I think not. XENU!' (And cut! Folks, that's a wrap, great job Tom!) That's just maybe about the dumbest story ever, Who the fuck is really joining this fucking bullshit. If you've been a member put your finger on the trigger, pull it. I said pull it, blow your brains out. If you're Tom Cruise, cut a vein out of your wrist please, cause you're 40 and the dumbest motherfucker on TV. Since we've seen [something i can't discern] falalalala life goes on... BITCH!"
Nah, too much profanity. it's gotta be a fun song. edit: quoted way too much; cut it down a little to not spam the thread
xenuslc: ty much for these file lists.. good stuff (decided a good title for these playlists would be "NOW! Thats what i call lulz Volume 1 and Volume 2)
KMFDM - DIY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCyMpTme6rg <= just audio Very inspiring to me  The Prodigy - Hot Ride http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLblhjhxi0c Another awesome song, with a great video to match!
Shit eating son of a bitch, I forgot about that. I'll try to improve the situation after I get home from class.
Mod Edit: Rapidshits of copyrighted music are still copyrighted music. Take that stuff elsewhere. For both songs.
just to remind people, if you have an MP3 to contribute, post it on [LINK REMOVED] It's more efficient than rapidshare. Edit: We're not a music sharing forum guys - remember, we are being watched. With that in mind, link has been removed Thanks for your paitence, - Staff of Enturbulation
I have this dream of about 30 minutes of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ky53zmbIyec (DO NOT LISTEN IF SUSCEPTIBLE TO EARWORMS!)
Honestly, best song I can think of is.... Renegades of Funk ~ Rage Against the Machine. I think that song pretty much EMBODIES this movement, and all of us as a whole. "No matter how hard you try, you can't stop us now No matter how hard you try, you can't stop us now We're the renegades of this time and age It's the time and age of renegades We're the renegades of this time and age It's the time and age of renegades Since the Prehistoric ages and the days of ancient Greece Right down through the Middle Ages Planet earth kept going through changes And then the renaissance came, the times continued to change Nothing stayed the same, but there were always renegades Like Chief Sitting Bull, Tom Paine Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X They were renegades of their time and age The mighty Renegades We're the renegades of funk (funk!funk!funk!) We're the renegades of funk (funk!funk!funk!)" Etc.

Scatman, fat man, black and white and brown man Tell me 'bout the colour of your soul. If part of your solution isn't ending the pollution Then I don't want to hear your stories told. I want to welcome you to Scatman's world" "Everybody's born to compete as he chooses But how can someone win if winning means that someone loses. I sit and see and wonder what it's like to be in touch. No wonder all my brothers and my sisters need a crutch. I want to be a human being not a human doing. I couldn't keep that pace up if I tried. The source of my intention really isn't crime prevention. My intention is prevention of the lie, Yeah, welcome to the Scatman's world" Bonus Track - Dog Ending - Silent Hill 2 why: lulz i have more ill post later
Thought of more tunes I could send up to you guys again, so expect the soundtrack to the Blues Brothers film later tonight! Aretha Franklin's "Think" is just perfect for one of the messages we're trying to get across, and epic win will be generated if people can do the dance from the film.
I already uploaded them in a zip that I posted in this topic earlier. If anyone needs any more tracks uploading into zips then just ask me and I will.
HAVE SOME BLUES BROTHERS http://rapidshare.com/files/88468711/BL ... S.rar.html Suggestion: Get two or more Anons (preferably ones in the suit-and-mask), and have them do the FREEDOM DANCE from the movie, where Aretha Franklin does "Think". Almost all of these songs have awesome dances that go with them, so hunt down videos (could not find one on Youtube) or watch the movie and learn them.
if you do what is love get as many people to do the head bob as you can http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMsYn6ibRik
