My Billion Year has been Hacked

Discussion in 'Scientology and Anonymous' started by chaplain nancy, Sep 18, 2012.

  1. I have always found support from you guys. You were the ones that gave me the courage to write and speak out in the first place.

Well, Yesterday I was in an article on Page 2 and 3 in the new York Post. I have some immediate (days) things coming out and other things lined up for the more long term...

My Web site has been hacked. And is unreachable, so no one has a way to contact me, or find out my previous talks.

This is the message when you go to my site: Anyone who can help me, contact me at

Do you have FTP access to the site?

    • If no: contact your ISP / web hosting provider, get them to give you access.

    • If yes: delete everything on the web server, and re-upload the files from your own PC. Also contact your ISP and report the problem.

  3. Thanks I just found out (someone did a diagnostics) that I have a problem with my Web Browser. Waiting for my husband to wake up in LA to help me with who it is and find out if we owe them money or whatever.
He knows the web browser and passwords.

Here's to hoping that is all it will take.

    Thanks FishyPants (LOL)

No, that's not the problem. Google is giving me the same warnings.

(Of course you might also have a problem with your web browser - but there is definitely a problem with your site).

    Not a problem.

Who, me? You can probably work it out if you're a mod, probably not if not.

Who, me? Don't have any soldiers, but I have a very fine fish in my pants.

  8. Yes that is a fine fish, and your pants are pretty too

Maybe I didn't pay the bill to the host??
    I am checking these things...
  9. fishypants Moderator

That's unlikely to be the problem, they wouldn't respond with malware (or whatever this is). They'd just cut off service.

Most likely your host uses a standard hosting platform which has been infected by one of the recent worms that fucks up web hosts with out-of-date security.

Virus-check your own PC then delete the web content and re-upload it.

It's the only way to be sure.

    Thank you, hon.

Well, here's an odd coincidence: I was just about to start a thread titled "I can't see a damn thing!" but someone suggested that I clean my glasses, and now everything is fine.
