From ESMB: Narconon Lawsuits : 20 ongoing, new case DAVID G URE VS. NARCONON VISTA BAY http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthre...ng-new-case-DAVID-G-URE-VS-NARCONON-VISTA-BAY
I'm happy to see Dr. Megan Shields named in one of the above lawsuits. She has been promoting and working for Scientology for a long time.
Ha! The conferences are mainly Scientology's own conferences for themselves and their Happy Woo Friends, and she might author many papers, but if any have been published in an actual medical journal, it'll be the exception that proves the rule.
She doesn't "publish", she "presents". Which doesn't necessarily mean actually speaking on her paper. This was covered ages ago, back when a.r.s. was still active. She'll attend a legitimate medical conference, and bring along her paper. There's never enough time for everyone to actually get up in front of attendees and present their material. So their paper goes into a "presented" stack, and gets listed as an attached paper in the meeting minutes for people to look over if they feel like it. Totally different than an article published for "peer review". But the Cof$/narCONon PR hacks will push the "presented" at whatever meeting line, implying it's a published and peer reviewed study, when in fact it's not. BigBeard
I know it's already in other threads but for new readers who don't know, Dr. Megan Shields signed Mary Sue Hubbard's death certificate and worked in a clinic with Dr. Denk who was LRH's physician. She might know about and even have records of LRH's health at the time of his death. If they are things that Scientology doesn't want publicly known Miscavige might be very kind to her.
I believe that she's running that clinic now. Code: www.optimum-wellness.net/meet_the_doctors.php The WidowDenk might be able to provide some insight about his files, but (a) LRH stuff would be tightly controlled, (b) she's not unbiased on the subject of Dr Denk.
TheWidowDenk aka Rachel Denk is apparently an Independent Scientologist according to Rathbun: http://markrathbun.wordpress.com/tag/rachel-denk/
