Hi everybody. With the international pressure on Nacronon lately I thought we should do something about the Dutch franchise as well. CoS or Nacronon haven't really been in the news a lot here but that doesn't mean that there are no victims or no opportunities to rock the boat. I don't have a battle plan, just posting info and thoughts. I hope I can trigger some brainstorming. General Info ------------------ Stichting Narconon Nederland Deventerweg 93, 7203 AD Zutphen, Netherlands +31 575 542 362 narconon(dot)nl (obviously CoS site, use condom if needed) nnzutphen@lycos.com KvK number: 41197855 (KvK is the Dutch commercial enterprise registry, see kvk.nl) Tax status ------------------ NarcNL is registered as a charity (has the ANBI status) by our tax agency (belastingdienst.nl) It's registered since 1/1/2008 (note that the 'activity' field is blank in the registration) The Belastingdienst explains what rules organizations must abide by to qualify for the ANBI status (own quick&dirty translation): - The efforts of the organization must be 90% for public benefit. - The organization staff may not promote hate or violence. The management may not have had a conviction for promoting hate or violence in the last 4 years. - The organization may not have funds in excess of what is reasonably necessary for operations. - Management may not have access the organization's funds as if it were their own. - The payment that management receive may not be in excess of their expenses for the organization. - The organization must have a up-to-date management strategy. - The costs and expenses of the organization must be reasonable. - If the organization is disbanded, excess funds must be spend on something beneficial to the public. - The organization must keep track of expenses. The fraud/crime wing of the Belandingsdienst is the FIOD Belasingdienst/FIOD-ECD Postbus 19266 3501 DG Utrecht (no website, no phone number) I'm not sure what angle to use when writing the FIOD. - NarcNL is doubtfully funneling its profits to the mother church by buying course materials and licensing IP. Is that a reasonable expense? - Would it do any good writing that Narconon Trois-Rivieres is closed because the authorities there didn't think it was in the public benefit? - Could we possibly catch NarcNL breaking any ANBI rules in some other way? Stuff to look into later: ------------------------- Find out about heath insurance status of NarcNL Find out what the Health Inspection (igz.nl) is doing in relation to drug rehabs.
Have you seen this thread? https://whyweprotest.net/community/threads/dutch-tax-exemption-revoked-bonus-announcements.103913/
Yes, but that is about CoS, not about Naconon. NarcNL admits it's using Blubbard's teachings, but is not officially part of CoS. This part is obviously of importance to NarcNL though.
If it was shown that NarcoNon are part of CoS, would that be helpful (because that is very easy to show).
One thing that still is outstanding, is to alert the fire department. There is about 30 people living in that house with no alternative escape route. If the above picture are still depict the current situation, that is. Let me know if you want to pick that up. If you do, make sure to quote Mr Fish from the Narconon UK closed down thread for evidence. Otherwise I'll pick it up next week. I've sent three emails to the Health Inspection which I'll post tomorrow in this thread. Perhaps you guys can expend on it.
And it ain't sharing Bubbard's face with councilors of cities during the annual anti-drugs marathon either. Soure: http://www.radiobeverwijk.nl/index....=article&id=1431&catid=3&Itemid=2
Please don't be naive. Narconon is on the corporate chart under ABLE, along with Applied Scholastics and Criminon. It IS Scientology. They are absolutely officially part of CoS.
Yes but is that technically true in NL? And would that be enough to convince the Dutch authorities to treat NarcNL and CoSNL as the same entities? What I know is that CoS plays the bureaucratic game differently in each country (sometimes registered as commercial self-help group, sometimes as a religion, etc...) Great angle! The pic with the party flags is from their own website (I copied it, not linked it) The frontal pic is from Google Maps that I ripped today. Yeah NarcNL must be very crowded right now because of the UK close. If you want to go there to take recent pics, go for it. If you wont, I'll find the time to do that myself.
David Love will probably come by soon and say "follow the money". It may take a bit of work and some detective work though.
Considering the lame marathon, why not wait until crazy narco-scilon comes to your town? It's like a new road show really..
I'm quoting mama2mudbugs from another thread: I am sure everyone is familiar with ABLE owning the Narconon franchise. I read that ABLE is legally a separate corporation from the COS. So that would make COS untouchable with any lawsuits... HOWEVER ABLE was included in the 1993 IRS closing agreement with COS. Would this be enough of a link to legally show Narconon is COS?
You won't get NarConon gone because it's (linked to) Scientology. That won't ever happen here, like EvaH. That would be like destroying the red crescent because it's linked to islam which spawns terrorists on this world (not my words) Just proof that NarConon is really, really bad.
I don't, just helping out the new guy here. Would the multi-front thing work here? There's plenty of dox to show they are neither scientific nor very safe. It may tempt them to start doing the religious/secular flip-flop thing again.
We just need someone who's job it is to check on these things such as scamming companies and dangerous companies to ACTUALLY do THEIR FUCKING JOBS / end rage.
I suppose we'll have to wait and see if Clustedux turns up again. It's not like I'm a local or anything.
Look, I'm not getting payed for this or anything. If you are unsatisfied with the speed this is going, by all means, help digging up something. ---------------- Anyway....... Clusterdox, thank you and job well done. Very intriguing pictures, with two points that stick out. Firstly, they have an escape route in case of fire, which is good news. It would seem, based on your pictures, that making a call to the fire department isn't necessary. Secondly, wonder who the little girl is... Client's kid? Staff's kid?
I was actually hoping for gross fire safety negligence. The fire department has the power to un-licence a hotel/hostel in those cases, closing the business on the spot. Anyway, I wanted to upload an archive with the not-downscaled, unedited pix, but Anonfiles is erroring out on me, I'll try again later.
None of us here is. Get used to it. Thanks. As for the possible facefagging issue, I'm working on that picture. Don't expect you won't be watched though, I would be suspicious of anyone taking pictures of/near my house too. So would you.
Anonfiles is working again. Here is the big picture pack: https://anonfiles.com/file/e82bc61dc8682f8b7a5f4b520f897ee2
I poked around a bit to peruse the health insurance angle and found that nobody is covering NarcNL expenses. This partially explains how they managed to continue their quackery for so long as no organization had any stake in the effectiveness of NarcNL 'treatment'. details: I mailed a health insurance company (IZA), inquiring about the policy on drug rehabs it and they told me they aren't covered. Rehab coverage comes from a special government fund called the AWBZ. The government says however that private clinics are not covered with AWBZ unless you can pay (some of it) with the pgb (personal care budget) Now what is this pgb? It's for those in need of nursing like the elderly and handicapped. Not for those with social issues or vices. --------- Thanks for looking at it Just for curiosity's sake: How did you establish that? Some special image analysis trickery?
Could you perhaps repost this as text so that the non-Dutches can run this though a translator? This unprofessional shit would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.... I'll translate some highlights. Replay to a question about patient aggression: Reply to a question about financials: The reply to a question about the communication improvement exercises is a rambling story about how she was so happy about overcoming her eating disorder. This having little to with what a drug rehab is for seems beside the point... Reply to a question about the qualifications of the staff: Reply to a question about possible vitamin allergies: Wow...
Sure! Share the fun! and a nice bonus! (spoiler: Anons are Nazis) NarcNL contact form entry: First reply:
