Glad to see this news story finally showing up in US Google news search. Now maybe some US papers will pick it up [fingers crossed]

David, can you comment on where these patients were taken? I don't understand how the authorities are allowing the patients to be taken to other Narconon facilities in another country. That seems highly irresponsible of the Quebec authorities to allow these patients to be trafficked across the border.

It's a matter of Legal Jurisdiction. These patients are not prisoners at NN TR (although?).
So the authorities have no say over any person's freedom to choice what they want to do.
NN TR can just have them agree to be transferred, and that's all there is to it. The QC Gov
only has control over QC treatment centers and they can't even comment on other NN's
    elsewhere - - it's not their mandate.

Will I find out where these patients ended up? Probably. In my opinion, some may have
been transferred to NN Alberta - - throw in bunk beds and double up??? It is VERY easy to open
another NN in Alberta too, then the same Peggy Smith (ED), could direct both??? OR - - perhaps
a couple or few staff from NN TR could end up there too???

OR, they could open up in Ontario very fast and easy??? They already have two Scilon quacks who
promote NN in Ontario. I did file complaints with the Ontario College of Physicians several months
ago against these 2 quacks. So if they open in Ontario, I will press forward with more dox:)

They have received complaints in the past:

Summary/Footenote:> In Canada right now, the COS is facing HUGE trouble ahead.

Hopefully this can be used anywhere that they peddle their Purification Rundown snake-oil.

As well as Scientology, there are also their detox fronts.

Thanks, David. One would hope that because these people were in the middle of 'treatment' that the authorities would facilitate moving the patients to proper, licensed facilities (and force Narconon to pay for this). Or force Narconon to refund the amounts if the patients do not move to another facility. Because the treatment was found to be substandard, it is just strange that the closure then allows these victims to be trafficked across the border for more substandard treatment.

I realize that it is a matter of jurisdiction but that does not relieve anyone of any moral or legal liability if something should happen to these people at other Narconon facilities.

if they didn't, authorities should be able to track down families to inform them of the "why"

The concern I have is Narconon TR actively trying to circumvent the law and health policies of the Quebec Health Ministries. If they can make a case it will be there on that topic. Cult TR still is saying leave a message and we will call you back. I can completely see NNTR calling itself a intake center, then bussing these people to another jurisdiction.

So wouldn't it be appropriate for you to make a 'speech' of sorts here David. You know like at a ground-breaking. This is sort of like a ground-breaking, just the other way around.

In this April 17, 2012 report, TVA journalist Ghislain Morissette describes the plight of former Narconon Trois-Rivières employees who had not been paid for weeks and who suddenly lost their jobs when Narconon was forced to shut down because it failed to obtain accreditation as a residential detoxification center.

You forgot to add we are not responsible for patients after they leave Narconon.

I think the caption could just be "Scientology's Narconon: We are not responsible, but you have to pay anyway."

In some states the employer can be imprisoned for not paying owed wages. This isn't going to end well for the cult.

In the USA, they have RICO Laws. In Canada, we have the Canada Competition Bureau. This
is a Federal Agency that I know VERY well. I have already met with an Investigator and
dumped a box of dox in his lap. Now I will send a truck load and buy some Aluminum Chain.

The Gazette Reporter laughed today when I told her about the chain, but she did believe me. Oh',
what's the chain for??? If they don't act, I may chain myself to their front Frickn' door and LEAK
ALL the DOX to Media, These ***F_ _ kers*** need to be charged:)

Andre Ahern please report to Gold Base where DM will stuff you in a trash can and have people hit you and call you a homo.

Your cult leader will not be pleased with you.

The (what they call), Black PR right now, is costing them many, many millions, not to mention
the millions now lost in NN TR Revenue. Their "Cash Cow Machine" is drying up in Canada and
other Countries. Once the Federal Governments hear the, "We The People" demand to have ALL
of the COS and NN Charitable and Property Tax Status and Exemptions REVOKED, DM will
    be having a "Shit-Fit" - - but perhaps he already is - - - if sober?

awesome!! I would love to hear something on Q (Canadian Radio morning show with a Dude named Jian Ghomeshi) as well. Sending an email in that direction now.
Given the the recent findings about Narconon, I sincerely hope that other provinces will take a deeper look into the practices of the "clinics" on their home soil. Not only are patients turned out onto the streets, the employees themselves are rarely given adequate wages. There are many agencies that help those with addiction(s), for free. Those agencies do not pay employees $2.50 an hour, while asking upwards of $25,000 for treatment. That's one heck of a mark up, for services that may, or, may not be rendered.

ROFLMAO!!!:):):) - - when I showed the Reporter all the emails from the ESTO Officer,
she said, "OMG, I'll never think of a Porcupine the same again,..., LOL.

Can you imagine receiving a letter in your Com box from the ESTO Officer (the first day being hired at $2.50 per hour), that stated, "I am a Porcupine, but when you turn me over, I have the sweetest meat you will ever taste"

I was SHOCKED, and so were many of the other staff and patients I showed it to:)

Wild Horses couldn't drag me away from what I did over the past year (over 4,000 hrs work) - - so I'm just chilln' tonight and reflecting back. For the past 60 hours, I've had two computers up running on two seperate internet lines, just to keep up with the messages and Skype calls coming in from Friends and Media from around the globe. I am BLESSED to have such loving Children and Friends, but I hope this settles down a wee bit so I can get back to work on my book. Bless you ALL ♥♥♥

I think they have refused them accreditation which has forced them to close. That is not the same as closing the place. If the authorities had closed the place then they might be responsible for rehousing the people but if they have just refused accreditation then the responsibility lies with the refused organisation.

Mmmm, yes, perhaps, because they were well aware of the regulations and had retained one of
the most prominent 500 member law firms available. They were VERY well aware, including the
law firm; they read and new the laws and they KNEW they would be shut down. Applyinf for
certification, was only a ploy for staff PR - - to keep them working undistracted and squeeze the
last $$$$ out of whoever they could; including NOT paying staff. Here is an email received last
    night:

I had to CHOP the hell out of this to protect my Source, but this ^^^^^ is exactly what happened
when the COS RAPED the NN TR $600,000.00 building fund account when I was there. (staff NOT paid)
