Wait I'm confused. So is it officially closed down? And did the government force it to close or did they close because the government wouldn't grand them accreditation? Either way I'm glad to hear that they got shut down, good work man. I'm just still confused on the specifics. But imagine that, someone with evidence of wrongdoing presents that evidence to authorities instead of making stupid youtube videos and bitching and moaning on internet forums and lo and behold, shit happens. Shocking, right? Oh and before any more of you idiots decide to shit up the thread with spam: This does absolutely nothing.
^^^^ A residential detoxification center that fails to obtain accreditation in Quebec must shut down. It would be illegal to operate a residential center without accreditation.
Right. Trois-Rivieres Narcocon drug treatment facility was shut down by the government. They withheld accreditation because of Trois-Rivieres did not meet minimum health standards.
I thought typing key word sentences helped with search efforts. my bad I wasn't trying to shit up the thread or spam the thread and I don't appreciate being called an idiot by a much bigger idiot
Once again Ms. Schoolmarm Herro wags her finger at those darn anons. If they would only listen to her
Scientology has made a fortune off the backs of helpless addicts and their families in 'Non-Profit' Narconon dollars which get sent uplines through the myriad of corporate schemes that comprise the criminal Scientology enterprise's hierarchy. The 'secular' (what a joke) Narconon program has always been 100% L. Ron Hubbard medically dangerous quack therapies and Scientology courses, nothing else. I hope the current 'patients' are followed up on wherever they end up, any Narconon program that takes them in should be investigated as well as any Narconon program anywhere now that this scam has been exposed in Canada (TY, David Love). Thank You to the Canadian government for taking this on as well. It's nice to see, I hope the U.S. Justice system wakes up soon, it's a disgrace what they let this 'religion' get away with here. The lunacy of this greedy cult's Narconon program and their abuses has to be stopped everywhere because it's exposing every 'patient' to danger and causing their families to be scammed out of millions. It's the same scam and program worldwide.
This may be a victory to you but my parents have taken money from their retirement to save her life. She was near the end of the program but now she is in trois-riviers stranded we live in bc and can't get her flown home. Not a really great feeling for a young woman coming out of treatment. I say everyone has a right to their own oppinion but if you don't agree with this program don't go!!! I am thankful because this has saved her life!
You should be thankful because David just saved her life by getting that place shut down. You want to be pissed off at someone, aim that anger at the top of the pyramid. He just saved her from becoming a convert to Scientology and really messing your family up. Geez... show some freakin' gratitude. Unless you're a Scilon plant, in which case... LMAO
There are multiple other detox centers that are CERTIFIED in trois-rivières, I know because I live here. Just sayin
If you're legit or not, there are a few misinformed people who may actually feel this way, they've been seriously misled........... Narconon has lied to families about their succes rates of over 75%, there is no other treatment center anywhere that makes this type of outrageous claim. There are no properly qualified and medically trained personnel in any Narconon center only those trained in Hubbard Quackery. Any legitimate treatment program could tell you that unfortunately, particularly in the case of opiate addicts that the chances for full recovery are less than 15% and of those most have simply reached their absolute bottom and finally had enough of the addiction's horrors after multiple relapses. A lot of Narconon's successes are comprised of these, imho whose time had simply come to finally quit before the drug takes them. There is no verifiable proof that Hubbard's insane vitamin overdose, Scientology courses and endless days of 5 hour saunas do anything whatsoever to treat drug addiction. I wish all addicts well, I hope their time to quit has finally come, Narconon is not the answer and it's a crime to lie about their alleged successes and scam parents and others out of 30 grand to 'save' them with insane LRH Quakery.
Guess what spamming links on a page does. I'll give you a hint, it does the opposite of what you seem to think it does. You should probably play it safe and just not post. At all. Ever.
I am very sorry to hear of the stranding that NN TR has caused to her and the family. If NN TR was a safe "TREATMENT" for addiction, the Minstry of Health would not have shut them down to save patients from being harmed - - both physically and psychologically. This investigation was in depth and lengthy - - another NN patient just died last week in the USA. Are you aware of how many have died while a patient at Narconon? Do you know how many suffer after they leave? Are you aware that the Narconon executives KNOW that their client's (the patients), will still have cravings after they leave and that close to 80% relapse. Many die because they did not receive the treatment they deserve. Perhaps read the following: How do I KNOW how the Narconon program works; what their only goal is; and how harmful it is? Because I lived it for 11 months. Five months as a patient and six months on staff as a Course Room Supervisor, Registrar, Graduate Officer, and I/C of New Charitable Foundation. I do respect your opinion very much, and I empathize with your frustration. Please contact me if I can be of any help in placing her in a reputable treatment facility, staffed by medical professionals that will care and treat her as an individual person and the needs that each individual must be addressed to remain drug free. Narconon treats EVERYONE exactly the same, as in Cookie-Cutter. There are many treatment options in Canada (although not enough yet), that are FREE. Please understand that Narconon IS Scientology indoctrination from the first day a patient arrives and although she may not be recruited into the Church of Scientology, Narconon does recruit many graduates onto their staff. Someone who has just completed an addiction program, needs ample "Aftercare", not being pressured into being something they are not - - a professional drug treatment caregiver. Perhaps I should post the last 204 pages of documents I sent the Ministry of Health and Social Services - - on a dowload site? David Love .
90K?? - - LOL - - they hauled in 4.5 MILLION in one year at NN TR!!! https://whyweprotest.net/community/threads/narconon-trois-rivieres-financials.100791/ OVER 16 MILLION while open. Total revenue from sale of goods and services in 2008 (except to government) 4640 $ 4,455,334 Yes little Davey (DM), will have to cut back on his gold plated rubbers gloves,..., LOL .
In a good week, a Reg can bring in 4-7 new intakes per week ($120,000.00), at a 10% commission equals a tidy sum of $12,000 in ONE WEEK! Of course they "MAY" have to split 50-50% with a NN TR graduate who is an FSM if they referred to the Reg. There is HUGE Frickn' money in this SCAM - - a TON of it goes uplines into COS coffers. Amazing how it is done, but that's another chapter. .
I am sure they will pay it back if someone asks them nicely. That's the thing about Scientology - you can always ask for your money back.
Irrelevant, I don't give a crap about the specifics of how it's done, if I'll ever need to googlebomb I'll read up about it then. The point still stands, though - it's definitely not done by mass repetition of the same sentence in a single forum thread
Scientology: "Great, no problem guys, we'll just change those bits and press forward damaging minds and lives while inuring COB. Wait, Source. Hmmm." While claiming that your leader's words are axiomatic does have some benefits for a cult, it also seems to have some negatives. Eventually they are going to run out of things within Source that are legal to do. What now Scientology?
Translation of a French article posted on April 17, 2012 on the website of the Journal de Montréal: Fermeture annoncée pour Narconon
Scientology front group Narcocon's facility Trois-Rivieres was closed yesterday because the government of Canada found that Trois-Rivieres did not meet minimum standards for a rehab facility. Scientology treats patients with quackery to take their money and recruit them into a cult.
The National mention the closure of NN T-R yesterday. http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/News/TV_Shows/The_National/1233408557/ID=2223701720 at 23:45
if you are on the up and up. then perhaps you should listen to the authorities and read this article in the Journal de Montréal: Fermeture annoncée pour Narconon Or go to Narconon Exposed click the link below for a LOT of information on Narconon http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Narconon/ Don't be so desperate for a cure that may up end harming your child more both health wise and "brain" wise because Narconon is all about recruitment into Scientology. And people have died on this program. Is that enough for you?
