Location: Nashville Celebrity Centre, 16th and Edgehill

It is Elbyday, so there shall be caek. Bring your own damn beverages because we're cheap. We have some signs but bring your own if so inclined. There will also be music and much, much dancing. Cover yer face as OSA will probably be around due to a big party at Indigo Hotel on the night of the 14th.

We had so much fun parading that I'd like to see if there's even a vague chance of doing that again. Protesting down at the Ideal was awesome though because of the sheer amount of honking and the few times that people were gasping when we pointed out the huge building there with their sign on it.

Won't happen in bldg current condition, unless they want to violate 9000 codes.
Be surprised if they were in new bldg by summer.

They have no money and little support here, as evidenced by the letter crying for help. If we can get the same numbers or moar than today, we can draw lots of attention to the bldg and perhaps aid in delaying the opening.

I concur with juche about the parading down there. It was a bit of a walk, but worth it imo. Also, in case the message didn't get through, we have awesome coverage at the new intersection. TONS of people/honks.

Hello. I also will be around in Tennessee during that time so i think i might pop up there.. lol i will need to find a mask first however... i would rather wear the Guy Fawkes mask than just cover my face with any old thing. Any Idea of where i might go to get one?

Performance has none atm and they called every other costuming place in Nashville for me and none had the proper masks.

I'll call Performance and see if they will order some. They should have time to get them in b4 the next project.

Will drive by the wall soon and see if I can get any ideas for decorating such.

Also would like to discuss flash raids to gear up for March 15. Liek maybe downtown? With flyers and cards to raise awareness and get Nashvilles boxers in a bunch about the impending doom of the new org?

I'm totally up for flash raids pretty much any day of the week. February's kinda iffy in terms of LOTS of free time because of massive amounts of paperwork, but come March I'll be free a lot more. I think at some point someone mentioned that if a person was handing out flyers in DT, the person had to be a citizen of Metro Nashville. I didn't pay much attention at the time, but it may be worth looking into because I already paid more than $100 for a flyering ticket and have no intention of paying another $100 for such a bullshit charge.

I'm up in Nashville at least four days a week, so it's easy for me to meet up fo sho. But yeah, March definitely MUCH better for actual flash raids, but everyone, plz remember to drop your YFTCs everywhere even when no raids are going on. We need to be viral.

I would love to do flash raids, but distance is a slight issue. However, I sometimes end up in Nashville randomly about 2 or 3 times a month. If I know for sure that I'm coming up, I'll post it here/wherever is good and maybe be involved in a few.

And yes, YFTC and other stuff is going up hardcore.

so we can put masks on statues around town? Big paper masks we could tie on and not

This is very good news indeed! Although sedation can be fun, I'm happy to hear that she is on the mend!

I know we can get the real masks, but it would be cheaper and easier to put
a paper mask on the statues. Think about all the statues around town, it could be
good for many lulz, plus we could put websites on the masks.

We do keep throwing around putting paper signs on the statues. Though I think Elby was refering to the previous poster asking about where to get them. Hell, if they get any in at performance I'd like to buy one, so keep me in the know plz.

Hi, new guy here.

Would have suggested EntertainmentEarth as a place to get Guy Fawkes masks, but seems like they've sold out. Maybe they'll have some more after a while, perhaps if demand for them is steady. Otherwise, see if the local comic shops, like The Great Escape, can get the masks for you as special orders.

Also, wanted you to know that the message is getting out. I found a YFTC card in the Madison/Rivergate area. I'm part of a new group, we're small with only 3 of us. Hopefully, we'll try to make March's protest. I know I certainly will try.
