That does suck. Maybe you could call in sick. It's not like anyone would recognize you in the mask. :p I'm lucky that my boss is understanding and I have Friday off now. w00t.

Well can't you dictate that one of your employees should cover at least part of your shift? :( You gotta get the 13th off at least. *sniffle*

Guys! I got 30Rock on my netflix instant queue, I just watched the episode from season 1 called "the fighting Irish." The Tracy Jordan character is looking for a religion to join and Tina Fey's character suggests the church of practicology. :p So the next scene shows Tracy being audited. Then he mentions they turned him down. :p I so lost it! >XD

Okay guys, I've made an executive decision here.

Ms. Cheap wrote in the Tennessean that 'according to recent reports, Second Harvest has seen a more than 20 percent increase in requests for emergency food assistance' because of the economy being shit. Because of this, they're doing something called the Feeding Hope Challenge where they're trying to raise 30,000 pounds of food in 30 days, and what do you know, on the 13th is when people can 'drop off non-perishable food donations... in Davidson, Montgomery, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson and Williamson counties from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.' So you know what we're doing? We're fucking bringing canned goods, all of you people, to the protest on the 13th and then I'll take the food to whatever collection site there is in Williamson county because I can't be bothered to go all the way up off of Metrocenter.

I know we can do better than the Scilon's cornflakes, ramen noodles and paper towels. ARE YOU UP TO THE (Feeding Hope) CHALLENGE?!!?!?

Too bad if you aren't because I can really hold an impressive grudge.

And I'm editing the flyers for the 13th to reflect this philanthropic change.

    Moralfag out.

    Good luck NashAnons.

I've had an extended leave but hopefully I'll get to join in the fray next month. Sadly this month I have a prior obligation that I can't get out off.

Glad to see the fire is still burning. :)

    Hello all,
I'm new to the forums and Anon in general. I was deployed overseas when Anonymous began to grow, and am excited to join in now that I'm back. Any advice for a first-timer? I plan to be there on the 13th.

Meet us at the org at 11am. Bring a mask. Dress warmly. It gonna be daaaaaaaaaaamn cold. Also, no weapons. Lulz are our weapons. :p If you need the address for the org, it is located on a flyer posted several posts above. See you there.

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

Silly. :p It's not gonna be that cold on Saturday. :D 7 day forecast has a high of 54 and a low of 36. We're not going to be there after dark. It is also supposed to be partly cloudy. We should have some good weather. Much better than Friday. It was below freezing out there! But it was also after dark. Don't forget your longjons and scarfs! Oh, and hats! For the covering of the ears and keeping heat in. :D You will also need some good socks. That reminds me, I need to make a trip to wally and buy some warmer socks. My toeziez frozeded Friday. :(
  19. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

lol, i live in alabama, to me thats about as cold as penguin balls xp
but unfortunatly, like i said, i can't make it this month. there are some big games on saturday and, working in a sports bar, they refrain from letting you off on those days x( i will however, be there January 17th 2009, Nashville:)

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

Sweet! See you then! You might still want to wear really warm clothes. :p
  21. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

on a side note, just how bad are the scilons-handlers at nashville protests? i don't really feel like getting arrested because of them if ya know what i mean.
btw, this will be my first protest, ironic.
  22. twistedpuppet Member

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

What handlers? :p They literally just hide in their little building and some of the publics drive by and flip us off. Nothing like the epic battles Mark Bunker had with them. They seem to be afraid of us or something. The only time we've had problems is a couple of times at a pre-game at coco. Because of that coco didn't want us meeting there anymore. Other than that, it's been extremo quiet from our org.
  23. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

okay, i guess thats good, although i would like to see their gears grinding when we flash our signs in their faces :) btw. whats coco?

Hey guys, i am relatively new to this entire thing but i believe i have lurked enough to understand. Unfortunately i cant make it, as a high school student exams are getting pretty stressful and i have to study. Take ALOT of pictures so i can see what i missed. I had no idea Anon was anywhere close to being active, so this is a pretty epic win for me. oh and another question.
