  16. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

So. january 17th. anniversary of the proposal to global monthly protests:) theme ideas anyone?
  17. twistedpuppet Member

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

It's still between friggin 10th and 17th. We haven't been going with the themes for a while anyway. One month, no one on enturb could agree on a theme, so we chose a Hawanon theme. :p If anything, it should be a party hard theme.

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

17th is closer to the middle of the month. I'd much rather go for that instead of doing a protest the first weekend after I'm back to classes >/.
  19. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

(i agree. 17th.) can you describe a party hard theme to me?:)
  20. twistedpuppet Member

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

Basically, it's a party atmosphere. Noise makers, tons of music, cake and cake like products. Fun and lulz and enturbulating along the way.
  21. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

sounds like a lulz-a-liouse good time:) oooh, i gotz an idea fo a sign: "we have cake, they have lies." might have been done before tho....:)
oh and i have a definite on 6 people including me. i'm road tripping those five up to nashy-vill. although, i don't know if all of them will wear a mask. i told them why we remain anonymous, but they'r worried about getting ticketed. since 3 of us are under the age of 17 we'r exempt from the law regarding masked protest, but the other 3 have expressed mixxed feelings on it. they seem to think the only reason we are masked at the raids is because we are hiding from them. they wanna show them that we aren't afraid of them.
any ideas on what to say to them? opinions?
  22. twistedpuppet Member

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

We are able to wear masks for protests. You shouldn't be worried about that. As far as the ones who want to show their faces. That is their decision. Individuals make a suggestion and individuals decide if they want to go along with that suggestion. We are a true stand alone complex. While it is true that we mostly wear the masks to avoid being fairgamed by scilons, another reason we wear the mask is because the mask makes us anonymous. It doesn't matter what kind of mask it is, but to hide your true identity embodies the spirit of the internet and drives home that we are all peoples in all places. We could be anyone. We could be your neighbor, your doctor, your teacher, your congressman, your local police officer. It also symbolizes our unity and our ideas. Together we are one force, one voice, one mind. At least, that's my opinion. :p

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

well in a sense the masks are to hide...... but they are also a big *phbbbbbt* to the cult too because we CAN hide. we could be anyone behind the mask, even their neighbors and they don't get to know. We don't follow the same playbook they are REQUIRED to and that drive em nuts. canyadigit?
  24. twistedpuppet Member

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

    Maybe. :p
  25. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

yeah i understand:) that all makes sense. i'll see what they say. btw i'm just curious, but what do we call our selves? (at raids i mean) obviously we don't go by our real names but i mean, do you just use your screen name?
  26. twistedpuppet Member

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

We use differing names. It depends on whether you remember what the person wants to be called or not. Most likely you will be known as, Hey You or New Kid. :p Or my personal favorite: That Dude Over There. :p
  27. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

and the lulz ensue:) i'm thinkin hey dude over there is what's gonna be more useful:)

  34. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

lulz, i still have my CultCard!!
foamy has the best quotes:) :"i'll stab you in the eye with a really hot french fry!!"
and some joke with the punch line of "...while sodomizing the family dog as a crack dealer carves the word slut into your uterus with a pen knife..."

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

Dang it. apparently everyone is out of masks. Performance has to order them from a company but that company doesn't have any to sell... I'm having some real trouble finding these....... =[

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

    Look around the Internet.
  37. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

speaking of the internet: i've finally found it!!! the one and only true peice de la resistance that i have been searching for for nearly a week, no shops had it. i looked everywhere, fye no, movie stop no, blockbusters no. the interbutt Yes!!! i finally found a copy of Cats Don't Dance!!! amizon is delivering it on monday! i cant wait!!!!!
  38. Re: NASHVILLE, TN

btw i found the idea of anonymous arm bands from another thread today and had an idea. anonymous armbands would be a bad idea. it would project that we in some twisted form or fashion are neo nazis, which we ARENT!!!!, but in light of the movie valkriey coming out we should probly do something related to WWII. what i was thinking is, making black armbands with the names of victims of the cult on them. a differant name per band and the web name whyaretheydead.net. that way it is related to they cause and it makes fun of tc. opinions, comments, concerns?
(oh and i do have an embroidery machine here at my home. so i could in theory make them at home and bring them up to the raid in january. but i would need to know what you guyz thought first and how many to make.)

    Re: NASHVILLE, TN

I don't like this idea, or the idea of having Valkyrie anywhere in our protest. Valkyrie = Nazis. That's going to freak out the general public, and that's not what our aim is. WWII is a touchy subject, and I think it would get out of hand.

    So, in short, no.
