    Nathan Baca Strikes Again!

Angle has cut-off all media access after a reporter tried to get her to answer questions about foreign policy.
They must of been really difficult questions (at least for Sharron Angle).
She says she'll answer questions about her positions and policy after she's elected and it's too late to realize she's a forking loon.

Nevada's really going to be in for a wakeup call if this nutjob gets in just because of all the anti-Reid sentiment. I give the voters a month tops before they're facepalming themselves asking "What the fuck were we thinking??"- and by that time it'll be too late. They'll be stuck with her. They'll be saddled with a right-wing nut who will wield no power or influence in the Senate because nobody will take her seriously. She'll be a neutered backbencher who will not be able to represent Nevada the way they need to be.

Sharron Angle- Good For LULZ. Bad For Nevada.

No way to recall a senator?

    re: Nathan Baca Strikes Again!

Actually, it turns out Nevada is one of the 18 states that has the option of recall.

Yes, You CAN Recall A Senator
  9. re: Nathan Baca Strikes Again!

Yes, but they need to be represented by non-morons, as opposed to one of their own.

    re: Nathan Baca Strikes Again!

Nevada requires 25% of the voters in the last election to sign, and only 60 days to do it.

Large number in a very small amount of time.

    Ouch.

If she wins, it won't take long for Angle to demonstrate her utter incompetence to all, even the yahoos who voted for her.
We'll be able to collect the needed signatures in less than a week.
I hope it doesn't become necessary.

Anyone willing to spend that much for a position should NOT be allowed to have that position .

Now, see, you're talking about campaign finance reform right there, and it's not sexy and not marketable with voters. There's Never a good time for it.
And even if there were funds for it and a "right time", What politician would push it? And if one mere politicianswould push it, how much $ do you think would be put into countering it?

It's not sexy and it's not marketable. Therefore, not likeley without major demand from consumers....who don't understand the system.

Nevada...it's not like they weren't warned. So if elected, they pulled her in.

Had a pretty good spending control until recently when the supreme court decided that corporations have the same rights as people.
  24. Re: Nathan Baca Strikes Again!

Niggaplease. They already have Bachmann. What more do they want?
  25. Re: Nathan Baca Strikes Again!

Also, you forgot the Citizens United case, 130 S.Ct. 876 (2010), cut the nuts off of any likely reform.
