I used to be an objectivist, until I realized that in the real world, there are an infinite number of variables that must be taken into consideration to meet an objective, and infinity is a fucking huge number. It's so fucking huge, you could spend forever trying to get there.The variables must be ignored to reach an objective, or you'll never reach it due to the 99.9999999 rule, or the half-way of a half-way of a half-way paradox. You'll always be approaching the objective, but never quite getting there. So, the only answer is, magic. Only through ignoring reality, do we actually get shit done.
Good afternoon/morning/evening all! Just a quick update about my research. As you've all been brilliant at supplying me with information and superb arguments around my topic, I've decided to narrow my research down specifically to online forums and WWP as a particular case study. I think this should give my research a nice focus and a little bit more depth. Hopefully this is OK with everyone for me to continue picking your brains... Sure, fine. You might want to make a distinction between online places like Facebook where identities are RL identities, versus somewhere like WWP where they mostly aren't. Or on second thoughts you might want to think about that in terms of the person doing the posting, rather than the venue in which they post. E.g. some users on WWP are not anonymous to those of us who know they board - we know that they are specific journalists, lawyers, ex-Scientologists, etc.
Of course. The degree to which anonymity on this forum is 'pseudo-anonymity' is a point I will be discussing. Obviously there are several users on the forum who's identities are known publicly and that will, of course, be taken into account in my study. And yep, I'll be running a comparison to 'full disclosure' identity platforms such as social media e.t.c. throughout.

It should be pointed out that this forum and (in general) anon ircs provide a level of anonymity automatically which skype or email does not.

Agree. I attended the vigilant citizen forums and exposed all my research on freemasonry / ancient Rome , Greece and Egypt. It closed down the other day. Just when i started posting the real stuff about the pharaohs and the modern monarchy. Was open a while before i started attending. Strange.... We all knew and talked on the forum, about it being closed down due to the information therein. Remember.... If a monarch / mason tells you something is true, treat it as a lie. And visa versa. Quite a number of Wikipedia's editors are complete bullshit. Look at the ones who munch through dozens and dozens of unrelated articles in a day. No way. I realize that there are obsessed human beings, but I really doubt those represent actual humans, or at least they aren't healthy people who should be editing articles. The whole Single Purpose Account nonsense was probably created by some cultist editor like Jossi Fresco.
