*Needed* - Current info on new Co$ facility in Chicago Last year, CoS bought the Artcraft Building located at 650 S Clark in Chicago. This building is set to become the Scis new base of operations in Chicago, and is being regarded as future HQ of Scientology in the Midwest: I'm looking for any info anyone has on the progress of their new facility, and ideally any leads as to an opening date. The last public story about the new facility is from last year when the Scis bought the building. The only current info known so far is that they plan to open sometime during this summer. Any info would be much appreciated.

Re: *Needed* - Current info on new Co$ facility in Chicago Thanks, the blog you listed is probably the most recent information... it's still a few months out of date but it's a good place to work from... hmm, maybe someone could get a hold of the ZBA and see if there's been any recent development (or if someone's in the neighborhood they could always do a recon mission... the 650 is literally only a couple blocks south and over from the Millenium Park facilities on Michigan Ave). Official Scientology web sites have no news about it. (Even if you can find a search box on a scientology web site, the search engine sucks.) Looks like Co$ may have run into a zoning snag, judging from the above blog.
Re: *Needed* - Current info on new Co$ facility in Chicago It'd be great if it turned out they were having trouble... my only concern is we all know they have a way of making legal issues disappear, and that they'll probably find a way around whatever problems they run into in getting this thing open (how much you wanna bet they've got RPF kids doing the masonry work?)

The construction / renovation of this building is open for bid, I would guess it would start late 2017.
