    Another of the growing list of Indie blogs looking to smother the truth about Scientology by loading all blame onto David Miscavige.
  2. Anonymous Member

    ikr? There seems to be "camps" setting up and folks are on "Team Tony". People take shit way to serious round here. There was room in my reading day for both blogs.

    How do you know that? There are two posts - one on the closed blog & one ripping up "Ron’s fake navy", "correcting all the errors left in the tech by that sloppy fatass LRH", among other things.

  6. Do you have dox on this or is it just a silly rumor?
  7. Anonymous Member

    It isn't a rumor, it's fail
  8. rickybobby Member

    Yeah, what up widdat?
  9. rickybobby Member

    I got it now, too! Thanks BR!
  10. OSA "fail"?
  11. Anonymous Member

    Lack of dox to support the original claim of being Anonymous SO makes everything else suspect. And everything else they posted (failtard veleb claims and pics) was easily found on the internet before they posted it.

    Even tampon spai had more dox than they did. And she was a total wingnut wack-a-doodle.
  12. I was asking the person who wrote ^this^ if they have dox on OSA doing it!
  13. Anonymous Member

    I am the person who wrote it and you are a fail guest reader! I meant the blog's only value was them trolling OSA, not the other way around. Idgit.

    Oh, I dunno, it just doesn't feel right. Fair nuff, its early days but there's a couple of indicators. The site "mission statement", for lack of a better word, is "Doing my bit to spread the truth about Scientology while providing some lulz". Well, if this person is doing their bit to spread the truth about Scientology, where is the material about Scientology? Also, check the blog roll. Even that OTVIIIisgrrr8!, who is actually quite brilliant, is all about David Miscavige. To say that there are "LRH errors" in the tech, and even engage is a little J&D about the ole man is the de rigueur acceptable truth for the apologists these days. To say that there are "errors" suggests that the what's left of the tech is okay. Check out the dissemination manual . . . first thing to do is use affinity via communication to reach agreement on a reality, even if that reality is below their own elevated spiritual knowingness. For many of these Indies, its about getting people to "agree with the reality" that Indies have "evolved" by recognising there are some parts of the tech which are plainly insane . . . "but the lower levels are fine, honest, you should give it a try".

    Color me a cynical old bitch . . . when I see that blogroll include WWP ESMB OCMB and TheBunker, or even a couple of those, I will extend a little more charity. A post or two with accurate information about Scientology's history or even Xenu would help too. For now, I'll stick with my previous description and hope that it turns out to be some n00b doing their best rather than some Indie looking to detract from sites that do actually "spread the truth about Scientology". Keep me posted.

    Okay makes sense. I'm taking a wait & see attitude as well giving them a chance.

    I've set up an second mirror. Does anyone know if there is a script (or example) on how i can create some kind of intro page that checks both mirrors, and redirect you to a working mirror? Thanx :)
  19. BlackRob Member

    For the people that have problems with the first link... Here is a second mirror:
    http://blackrob.bugs3.com/

    Good luck taking all the links down OSA!
    It's going to be a problem for you when Google is going to index all the links :)

    I still need someone to help me out creating a php script that redirects the user to a working mirror if one of the mirrors is down.

    Does your hosting allow scripts or is it cheap freebie shit? The php command you looking for is called curl, but you're unlikely to be able to get this running on shit hosting.

    The way to implement this would be to create an dummy html file on each mirror (mirrordomain/dummy.html) and then check that the contents of the dummy.html file are ok - giving an easy way to check the mirror. The curl libraries are fairly easy to use and you can find what you need with a bit of googling - but this is all predicated on the assumption that the hosting you are using to list the mirrors can run the curl script. You couldn't do this on Wordpress.com for example.
  22. BlackRob Member

    Yeah, i can use Curl with the host i have. And yes, the above idea is what i want. But how to implement it tho..?
  23. Anonymous Member

    Create a dummy.html file on one of your mirrors. Add the following content:
    <html>
    <body>
    Mirror is up
    </body>
    </html>

    When you do that post the link to that mirror here and I'll draft up a script for you on my end.

    Cool!

    The main site is going to be: http://scientology.me.pn

    The script has to run on that site, and check if one of the following mirrors is up:

    http://blackrob.bugs3.com

    OR

    http://blackrob.5gbfree.com

    and then redirect the user to one of the 2 working mirrors.

    I've uploaded the html file to http://blackrob.5gbfree.com/dummy.html

    Sorry for the delay. Real life and stuff.

    I’ve attached a basic script that does what you are looking for. You’ll need to change the file extension from .txt to .php. There are some instructions in there, and if you use your head you’ll be fine.

    I do recommend setting this up as a cron job to generate a new webpage each hour or so rather than have it generate each time on the fly.

    Thank you very much for the script, i really appreciate it! Will test it today!

    Anons, if you have about 5MB of free webspace, and your server has Curl support, please hit me up :)
  27. Anonymous Member

    I'm not following. Any server with a mirror would not need culr support, only the server listing the mirrors would need it.
  28. BlackRob Member

    That's what i mean :). I can't find a free webhost with Curl support :/

    From earlier:
    Let’s think about this practically.

    I’m assuming you buying a domain is out, so any script would be hosted on a server with a domain name would be too long to realistically use as a weblink. (eg: www.randomdomain./com/randomfolder).

    One potential way around this is to, on your own site, use a redirect to any server hosting the script. You can do that using this html (which you’re not supposed to use):
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http:// www.randomdomain./com/randomfolder ">

    This is kind of pointless if your own hosting isn’t stable. It also introduces the mess of having to update the second redirect script, not that doing two redirects wasn’t messy enough.

    That leaves the question of whether it is possible to do this using javascript, but I don’t know the answer as I’m not proficient with it. Something like the following comes close (it would need a similar for loop like was in the php script):
    <html>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var url="http://google.com";
    checkUrl(url);
    function checkUrl(url) {
    var request = false;
    if (window.XMLHttpRequest) {
    request = new XMLHttpRequest;
    } else if (window.ActiveXObject) {
    request = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHttp");
    }

    if (request) {
    request.open("GET", url);
    if (request.status == 200) {
    window.location.href = url;
    }
    }
    return false;
    }
    </script>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>

    The snag as I see it is that XMLHttp won’t do cross domains easily, so I don’t know if it can be made to do what you need. Any javascriptfags know how to do cross domains with XMLHttp?

    I'll add that bit in now. Give me five mins.

    Script with redirection attached. It goes through the list and, as soon as it finds a working link, sends the visitor on their way.

    Finished Waybackifying every page on that mirror, and also the one at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://blackrob.yzi.me/*
    and the one at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://blackrob.largerhosting.com/*
    If all the sites are down, maybe the serverside script can add http://web.archive.org/liveweb/ infront of any of the URLs to get the wayback version.
    But not the one at http://blackrob.5gbfree.com/ which still has never resolved for me or the wayback machine to get to.

    The wayback index lister always seems to not list every single page archived, so don't worry if in a few days the pages aren't all listed when it gets around to them, they're still archived and will show up if you know the exact URL of a post to enter.

    Yeah, great news but I really feel left dangling with what I read yesterday about Michael Anissimov.

    $cientologist? Really? I do hope there is a cut-to-the-chase pronto!
