Hey Guise. Brooklyn Newfag reporting in.
I've been watching you guys for months, i have an honest hatred for the church of scientology and want to protest with you guys. I was wondering about the costs, if masks will be provided or if i have to buy one, where can i get a fawkes mask? What should I bring other than water? Ill ask more as time progresses.

BTW. I can bring a good number of people to protest as well.
  3. Re: New York City, New York

Masks can be bought at Halloween Adventure on 4th Ave between 11th and 12th.

Please be aware that NYC mask law prohibits us from wearing masks. Most of us sport them on our arms or the back of our heads.

Aside from water, just the usual city things. Metrocard, little bit of money for noms, a book for the train depending on how long your ride is.

You should always bring someone you know and keep an eye out for anyone following you afterwards. NYC Scilons have not proved physically dangerous but they do follow people.

If you decide to carry something for self defense, make sure it's LEGAL.

The Esco Pharmacy on 9th Ave between 47th and 48th sells pepper sprays in accordance with NYC law.

i wouldnt worry about anyone following me, i'll bring a group of people. Some of the top wrestlers in new york state. who would wanna mess with a buncha 6 foot tall ryuskies anyway? ;)

so for my face : aviators + bandanas?
  5. Re: New York City, New York

actually the antimask law in NYC includes bandanas as well.
so just stick with the aviators and probly a hat will do well.

Jerseyfag here, hoping to make it but probably won't since I don't know my way around the city for fuck.
Heard about you guys a few months ago, but only actually started learning a few days ago and been glued to the yootoobs and the forums ever since, it's a really great thing you're doing here. In the off-chance I do make it popo couldn't really bitch about a scarf, could they? It's cold...

    Love you!

Re: New York City, New York

Scarves have been acceptable in the past. I would still carry sunglasses just in case, because they've been more touchy about the mask law than in the past (apparently the org has been bitching to the police about it).

FTR there is a Halloween Adventure store on 43rd between 8th and 9th in Manhattan now - closer to the org and close enough to run to for your last minute mask needs.

    Hai guise!

This is HubbBudd from Orlando, FL... the Sunshine State, and (sadly) home of Clearwater... which is by no means "clear."

I am working in CT this month and had thought about protesting in nearby New Haven, but since you are so close am now planning on taking the train down for the protest on Saturday. Have led protests in Orlando Aug/Sep/Oct and participated in Nov. Great fun enturbulating the locals, and now looking forward to being there with you here in the NorthEast.

My signs are all back home but I'll be there to support you.

Don't worry about not knowing your way around, you can contact any NYC anon here or on the NYC forums and we will gladly help with directions and meet you somewhere in Manhattan. Depending on where you live, you may be able to tag along with someone. :)

Mr. Anon, HubbBudd, and XenuheartsU, hopefully we will be able to meet all of you on Saturday!

WOO-HOO! I'll be there with SIGNS, thanks to the company's supply cabinet full of markers. (I promise I'll return them first thing on Monday.)

And thanks to a big box marked "TRASH" on the outside, but was nice and white on the inside.
