"No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? I had seen the reports of such signs in the months past and the recent incident at Subway re-sparked my interest. I was wondering if Anonymous was the first to experience a denial of service from a restaurant/store, in regards to protest groups or otherwise. I am aware of the "Whites Only" signs from wayyyyy back when as well as the racism, segregation, etc that was associated with it. I'm speaking purely in terms of protest groups, clubs, or anything that Anonymous could possibly be compared to (the key words are "compared to" not "is"). I was aware of protesters not being able to attend the Olympics in China... other than that, my google-fu fails me or it's a little hard to find. Has there been anything like "No PETA protesters" plastered on entrances?
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? i've seen the same sign in our brothers and sisters in struggle in clearwater info, but no signs specifically banning another group. no one at subway except the girls were stopped from entry. everybody else came and went as we wished. so, it was a case of a private citizen denying entry to children on behalf of subway. Cops came, sign removed, girls admitted, noelle asked to leave. the story continues... odd.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? No. Anonymous has the sole distinction of being banned with a sign. Further evidence that the cult is very afraid of the effect Anonymous will have on their attempts to "clear the planet." Great work, anons.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? Some places have put up "No Yelpers" signs.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? I think that was "No Yoopers" and I've only seen them in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? Likewise, I have seen on more than one occasion "Hippies, use side door". I'm perfectly ok with using the side door.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? This store is unfairly discriminatory towards bare-chested monkey men.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? me too that's where it's ok to smoke smells good contact high
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? heh @ no yoopers. only "no ANONYMOUS" signs in clearwater.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? I've seen no reports of such signs... Links?
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? No, I just don't lurk enough. And I'm too lazy and upper middle class to dig around myself, do it for me pleb!
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? sweetz: if we were plebs we wouldn't have time for this. GET IT YERSELF!
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? On the contrary, plebs = moar time to mess about.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? I haven't heard this term in a long time, but I believe a yooper is someone from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Yooper <--> UPer). Heading North, once you get past Flint it's pretty much open farmland and small towns until you get to Mackinac, and from there to Sault St. Marie it's nothing but forests.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? 2 minute Search Sauce w pix: http://forums.whyweprotest.net/122-fair-game/anti-anonymous-signs-store-windows-13419/ In Clearwater we've seen many of the "We've chosen not to serve Anonymous" signs, which you'll see pix of in the link above ^^ Also "Anonymous members are not welcome here" along with the word Anonymous with a "buster sign" and the word hate with a "buster sign" I don't recall ever seeing a "No Anonymous" sign in Clearwater, as was seen in the Hollywood Subway Restaurant incident. It should be noted that in the first five months they were on the storefronts of nearly EVERY scilon owned business in commercially floundering downtown Clearwater. The cultists tried to get the corporate owned Starbucks and at least one other non-scilon owned business to put them up and were told to GTFO. But at the last monthly protest, Spy vs Sci, I only saw a single one. It should further be noted the cultists never kept them up, they just put them up specifically on the monthly protest days and took them down quickly when it was over.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? Ah, they were in Clearwater. I thought you meant in other cities, of course they're going to do that in Scifag HQ.
Re: "No Anonymous" signs - done for other protest groups? This is one of the cultist-owned businesses in Clearwater in June who no longer had a sign up at July's monthly protest. Ironic image is ironic as scientologists have a distinctive habit of letting their imagination go..... to extremes Let Your Imagination Go... And your money And your friends And your family And your sanity And eventually your life That's scientology in a nutshell
