Good. It's high time Fox was kicked out of this kind of thing. There are real news companies that actually report the truth without an agenda.

Fox may be assholes, but they have the same right to be there and make shit up report the news as anyone else.

No. They have no right to misrepresent the protesters. Which is why they were kicked out. :)

Fuck ya! Let the real journalist in there. I'm sure they will be completely objective. As long as they don't disagree with you.

I love this video. Especially when they get to the part about having a generator to power their smart phones to update facebook and twitter about the struggle against evil wall street....

    Comedy gold.

    Never change #occupywallstreet.
  6. Anonymous Member

Yeah, cause real protesters hack into lamp posts to power their smart phones to update facebook and twitter about the struggle against evil, right?

Can't complain about social media when none of these protest events would have happened without it.

At least they aren't storming the Smithsonian and being butthurt (and pepper-sprayed) that the #OWS-DC didn't follow them in incitement to riot journalism.

They have every right to misrepresent the protesters, actually. You just don't like it.

    fox news lies
    who knew

Free speech mean everybody gets the right to speak. On the other hand, you can also voice your opinion that Fox News' speech is outright lies or at least distortion. So I'd let Fox News in and then let them find somebody to interview who won't also mention that Fox News lies.

  16. FOX have a right to say what they like, but they don't have any right to be treated as a genuinely journalistic enterprise while they do so.

    E.g. press credentials and whatnot.

Fox News is not news, Fox News is Entertainment. Never intended to be anything else than Rupert Murdochs mouthpiece.

Faux News can say what ever they want, but they'll still have to deal with the defamation of character suits if they make baseless claims...I say let them in, make it a class action lawsuit, it's about time some one held them responsible for the slander they're spewing.

Fox are guilty of hacking private cellphones & emails.

That puts them on the same moral ground as Anonymous.

    And we run this.

    Her article on Fox News:

'Occupy Wall Street' -- It's Not What They're For, But What They're Against | Fox News

Critics of the growing Occupy Wall Street movement complain that the protesters don’t have a policy agenda and, therefore, don’t stand for anything. They're wrong. The key isn’t what protesters are for but rather what they’re against -- the gaping inequality that has poisoned our economy, our politics and our nation.

In America today, 400 people have more wealth than the bottom 150 million combined. That’s not because 150 million Americans are pathetically lazy or even unlucky. In fact, Americans have been working harder than ever -- productivity has risen in the last several decades. Big business profits and CEO bonuses have also gone up. Worker salaries, however, have declined.

Most of the Occupy Wall Street protesters aren’t opposed to free market capitalism. In fact, what they want is an end to the crony capitalist system now in place, that makes it easier for the rich and powerful to get even more rich and powerful while making it increasingly hard for the rest of us to get by. The protesters are not anti-American radicals. They are the defenders of the American Dream, the decision from the birth of our nation that success should be determined by hard work not royal bloodlines.

"This thing was created by AdBusters. These are people who don't like America."
"There are a lot of people down there who do love America."
