To clarify, this is a picture of one of our Minn male anons, and on either side of him two shirtless Minn femanons, taken last night at our 9/11 raid afterparty. What you can't see is that there are in fact three more clothesless femanons in the room, and they later joined the festivities for moar pics, lulz, and fap. This could be you, indeed.

Now time for some srs bsns. I just went though the thread and saw that there seems to be a good deal of interest in coming. As stated in the invite video, anons who can't afford to stay at hotel/motels are being welcomed into Minnanon homes and will be fed, all free of charge. What we need from you guys is to post how many you have coming, and then one of ours will contact you to arrange for pick-up once you reach our oh-so-illustrious land of Win and God. This process will be made much easier if you come and post on our own boards at MNRAID. Easy as fuck to sign up, none of this image verification bullshit, and we can get back to you much faster.

TL;DR if you're coming, tell us so we can put you up.

Please, everyone make life as easy as possible for the minn anons. Don't send them "yeah, maybe I'll show up" because maybes aren't worth the pixels they're displayed on. We're less than a month to go, get your shit straightened out and give folks a list of everyone who's coming (not just "3 from Chicago" either, supply nicks to ensure there's no overlap) and whether or not crash space is required.

As in Boston, the Minn scifags are trying to do everything in their power to get this shit canned. Don't let them win -- make RAWKTOBER the most epic anything the midwest has seen.*

The Org is in Down Town Minneapolis, but you can take a bus or light rail from your hotel.

Also the light rail goes through the Minneapolis airport (Humphery and Lindbergh terminals) and stops down the road from the Org. Down Town Minneapolis and Bloomington (near the Mall of America because the light rail begins there) are the best places for raid and airport access via light rail, but the buses will get you there all the same from Downtown St. Paul and Roseville.

The schedule for Friday and Sunday aren't finalized but on Friday, October 8th we will be for sure hanging out at the infamous Mall of America which is built for the lulz. Anons without monies (like me) will wander aimlessly, lost in the extravegence of capitalism and stupidity. Bring an ID though because you can be carded (no one under 16 is allowed in unsupervised during certain times).

We'll be driving, and we have several GPS devices, so directions won't be strictly necessary, only destinations. The idea is to get a room near, and preferably within walking (or staggering) distance of the festivities.

The reason I ask about booze is we will be driving through Iowa which has the cheapest booze I've ever seen, but if it's cheaper in Minn, then there is no reason for us to buy any in Iowa.

I would certainly suggest a hotel on or near the lightrail because it would take you everywhere you have to go on Friday and Saturday. Sunday's festivities will be out in the boonies, so driving is the only option.

I am not often an alcohol purchaser but if I had to guess I would say that Iowa would be cheaper. MN has some old school alcohol laws that restrict liquor stores from being open on Sunday or after 10p so I'd guess that the tax is higher here. I'll get back to you when I know for sure.

Oh and the Mall of America still has the Lego store. And a LARPing store.

The alcohol will most certainly be moar expensive in Minnesota. There are plenty of hotels and motels along the lightrail, and it only has the one track so you can't really go in the wrong direction on it. Even for out-o-towners, Minneapolis is not an intensly complex city to navigate, unlike some (Bawston). You will also more than likely have a MNanon guide for most of your wanderings or staggerings. We take care of our own.

I also suggest looking for a location near the light rail. Most of our events are with in walking distance of most light rail and bus stops.

The Zombie Pub Crawl is self explanatory. You look dead and party. You have to buy a wrist band for $5 before the event, or $10 at the bar. The wrist band is only needed to get in the bars, so of course it's needed to fully enjoy the experience.

Q: What should I bring besides myself?
A mask, and a costume to dress up in since Halloween will be close enough.
Also pack clothes for the stay, as well as other essentials (much of this should be obvious).

Uhhh... People from Chicago are going? That's news to me. I mean, I know there was some talk about bringing a carload of Chicago folks, but those types of plans can fizzle out pretty fast if they aren't made concrete. Which they aren't, and we're only 2 days out now.

Not that people plan through me or anything, and I hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't be overly surprised if you actually end up getting 0-2'ish people from Chicago. I'm sort of hesitant to post this, as I don't want to be accused of being a buzzkill, but I want you to have what I believe are realistic expectations. I think that's fairer to you than just staying quiet and watching you get let down on event weekend because of people who RSVP'd and didn't follow through. Especially since you've worked so hard to plan and have bent over backwards to accommodate people. Please don't shoot the messeng- ahhhh [stoned to death]
