Ontario New Ideal ORG - Anonymous Protesting

It occurs to me that they must be planning to use some sort of large event tent in the parking lot. If Dear Leader is going to be there, then everything must go right no matter what the weather is (and that's been all over the weather map this year), and it can not be postponed or canceled.

If it had been really cold, or freezing rain, then after one of Davie's long long speeches, he would have been left with a parking lot of sheepsicles rather than sheeple.

One reporter told me that Scientology isn't handing out much info and Angela Ilasi is
now their mouthpiece in Canada, as opposed to Yvette Shank who hasn't been seen
    in quite some time?

    Angela Ilasi -

A couple more media outlets (much bigger than Cambridge Times), are digging.

Will DM be there? I would be surprised if he is:)

Church of Scientology opening in Cambridge - The Cambridge Times

    By Bill Jackson

This article begins and ends with statements from the cult. Here's the middle:

The Church of Scientology has fallen under immense scrutiny and criticism in the past, with many former members accusing its officials of harassment, humiliation, confinement, physical punishment and misrepresentation, as well as criminal negligence for practicing medicine without a license.

An e-mail to the Times from the Project Chanology, Toronto Division, warned of “possible danger” in the community and said that acknowledgement of the church only lends credibility to what is a “criminally-convicted” organization in Ontario.

“Our group, Project Chanology, has been working locally and worldwide since 2008 to expose the abuses committed by the CoS on its members and the public,” the e-mail said. “Be assured that this is no ordinary church”.

The Chanology group provided supporting evidence of criminal convictions against the church in Ontario and points out that Narconon, a Scientology-related drug rehabilitation program was shut down in 2012 in Trois-Rivieres, Que. by local health authorities because it was deemed “dangerous” and had “no scientific basis to the treatment”.

“London, Ont. native and Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis publicly quit the Church of Scientology in 2009 (after being a member for 34 years) over CoS opposition to human rights and its abuse towards ex-members,” the e-mail noted. “He calls the church a ‘cult’.”

Celebrity controversies have shined a curious spotlight on the church in recent years. A new book by Pulitzer Prize winning author Lawrence Wright entitled Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood and the Prison of Belief claims that the Church of Scientology only comprises 25,000-30,000 members, not the eight million it claims, and has more than $1 billion in liquid assets.

I disagree. This looks like the kickoff for his Ontario campaign. I doubt he'll miss it.

I hope he IS there. Would love to get a photo of him and I in the same vicinity - LOL :)

He was at the Quebec City Ideal ORG opening and they had propane heaters blasting heat
it was so cold for him.

Looking forward to the protest - - looks like a high-traffic area:)

  12. Seems like most of you have the right idea.

I look forward to educating as many people as I can while protesting in the town of Kitchener/Cambridge. I've heard stories from inside the Sea Org about how small the compliment of staff is. I heard from my associates that KIT was often single-handed most weekdays by a locally-posted SO member, with a few staff only arriving in the evenings.

One thing is for certain: this new building will bring the definition of "Empty" to whole new orders of magnitude.

^^ Funny? Bastard! It's snowing like "WTF! I just cleared that #$@% driveway! Fuck and here comes the plow again!" (Nothing like a good Montreal storm, but still...)

Here's Davie at the Quebec City Idle Org opening:

Note the big pipe which leads backs to a heater and a propane tank farm. He's cheated his way through a dry cold. Let's see how he likes slush!

I'm excited about the protest in Cambridge tomorrow. First I will be picking up someone who protested back with me in Feb 2008. Our five year anniversary of Project Chanology. Best damn project I've ever been on!

Ohio? A horrible drive either way: Friday during the storm or well before the butt-crack of dawn today.

300? It'll be well over 3000 once they computer-process it!

Two hours ago he posted this on Facebook:

*Long Protest Over* - Nine protesters line the sidewalk as people walk past to grand opening. Yvette Shank and Al Butnor and private security stayed close by us, reporting to OSA as the one told us. Three police cruisers and four officers were paid thousands to be there and keep the peace. Will post pics and teaser video ASAP. Media were there to do story featuring the protest. COS would not let them into event. This protest was a Canada original - awesome!!!

  31. There were well over 4000 Scientologists, and religious leaders of all faiths in attendance for the dedication of our phenomenally expanding Church of Scientology.

    Any local dignitaries show up?
2 extra cruisers were dispatched, as soon as anons showed up.
  34. Did you see or know if David Miscavige was there? Ideal Org Dedications are crucial events in The Sprint to Eternity.
  35. There's a lot I could write, but I want to focus on one person whom I was quite surprised to see today. Al Buttnor.

I was in the middle of calling out through the orange "voice adapter", and saw Al come walking down the driveway from the back, to turn away down the sidewalk. I actually was chastised by one of the officers for calling him out by name, because I forgot the rules when I saw him.

Take it back to Feb/Mar 2008, I last saw Al walking out of the org in the morning from the lobby at 696 Yonge St as I was wrapping an all-night watch as a 2nd security guard for alleged anonymous nighttime vandals. I knew where he was headed - he had been saving up approximately $3000 to pay his way to the Australia RPF, after failing to secure tax-exempt status for Canada on the account of one very effective SP. (Thanks Greg Hagglund!)

Late 2008: I was posted as the Dir Comm CLO Canada, and I wasn't supposed to read any of the messages I was passing around the CLO, but I happened to glance at one of the short love letters he sent to his wife, Tereasa Buttnor, another OSACAN staff member. Al was still in the RPF when I left the SO in 2009, and I imagine his return was just as difficult - CLO Canada would not likely be able to pay for his return flight, so he might have had to drop another $3000 to return to Canada. ($3000 is the entire salary of 2 years, 3 months for a Sea Org member making an avg. $25 per week)

I don't know his status now, but to me he seemed to be a slightly defeated soul, and that he was walking out of the event and away from the org suggested to me that he may have been kicked-out of the Sea Org altogether. For after all his time in the RPF, and the many innocent love letters to his wife, Al might have been ordered to divorce her as he was "routed out" of the SO.

I know he wasn't a great guy the way he treated protesters in his day, but man, he's really feeling the payback if my guess is correct. I can't imagine the feeling of being ordered to divorce, for both Al and Tereasa, but I'm sure it's not a positive one.

also: And not to mention wasting 5 years and $6000 just to get dumped anyway.

If DM was there, I'm sure he'd be well insulated from the cold and from entheta/Anons. It'd be a quick ticket to the RPF for any hapless Sea Ogre otherwise.
