    Semi-Victory

I got a letter from the Scilons today containing 2 photographs of me at the York protest. Still no confirmation that they'll cease processing my information and sign of the video taken of me at Leeds, as well as whatever Graeme did with my details.

My reply that shall be winging its way to them on Monday:

The ICO is trying to close the case and I really feel sorry for the guy who's dealing with it. I can tell that he has targets to meet and I'm getting in the way. Ho hum. Will let him know what's happening as well.

Well done fella! It's good to see your getting somewhere but it's so bloody obvious what Hodkin is doing by giving you a small bit of the information held on you to satisfy you and the ICO whilst really fobbing you both off.

I contacted the ICO re my case and have been given a case number and they have now started to look into it. Though they did point out that they are quite busy at the minute for some reason...)

I've been reading this for about an hour and it seems great!

I plan on attending some of the peaceful protests and I hope they don't try to fair game me or I will perform the same actions as you guys. I'm not very skilled with the DPA but since i am currently doing a level 1 course in Business & ICT I do know what it is.

Good luck guys, I hope to be reading more later! :D

Good to see they're finally giving - the more we harass them with this the more it costs them  I still say everyone who is outed by the cult should do this, would cost them a fortune.

Can't wait to hear from you all!
  8. Re: Operation: Data Protection Shield

Well, I've had nothing back from Scifags/Hodkins and have filed a complaint with the ICO.

    Re: Operation: Data Protection Shield

Got a reply from them saying that I need to send them a copy of ID plus my actual address and not a po box, even though they have the po box on file. I will complain to the authorities directly and see what they suggest.

If you have any better ideas, let me know.

They never tried that card with me. The whole ID thing that is.
Though I sent a personal cheque from a spare bank account I have. They were quite happy to take my money and not ask any questions

    Re: Operation: Data Protection Shield

I rang the Information Commissioners Office last month for an update. Apparently there is a big back-log right now and it might take a few months before they get to my case. Has anyone else got any where with this?

    Re: Operation: Data Protection Shield

Bump to point out that the recent raid in Turin, Italy, provided information which is relevant to our interests

Turin police raid Scientology chapter - News in English - ANSA.it

An Italian critical journalist was quoted (in an article I can't find right now) as saying that he had obtained an official reply that his files had been deleted, but that the file showed up in the police raid. Who would have thought it?!?

The ICO in the UK might want to show that they're good at what they do?

    Best Regards
