Sometimes the bite-back takes the form of creating IRL protests and revealing verifiable facts to the world instead of short-term nerd rage. They probably wish they didn't do what they did now. 2: Too much bawwww about Chanology being "taken over". Chanology is our war charriot. Who cares if a baboon, a small child or nubian concubine steers it for part of the battle? Who cares if it's smashed to bits after the battle has been won? 3: "Unrelenting" Anonymous? Is that what you call those who left? They relented. Those who did not relent, are still here. They adjusted their tactics, and reserved the more primitive tactics for lower profile lulzcows. There might be some use for an anti-butthurt pill to get back those who left for sore butts because of local drama of some sort, or perhaps they didn't like how another forum member was treated, or whatever. The strangest thing might butthurt somebody. The best way to bring those people back are to combine these two elements: - In case what they take issue with has been solved, show this. - By doing glorious things which brings these people back, perhaps even while accepting some minor sorearse because we're fucking epic. I don't mean going back to the "old means", but perhaps focusing more on the old goals of protecting the internet? tl;dr: Good refocusing on internet freedom, less bawww about Chanology.

I also agree if there are multiple actions underway that some consideration should be given by those also acting independently to consider either simultaneous action of maybe release as a "run up" to multiple actions all at once. All that being said, even if unilateral action is dumped upon by consensus or even a single user, the fact that the discussion has publicly returned makes me think that even IF Marblecake has returned, they're trying to be publicly open about works in progress without spilling the beans. If someone's got a video or other contribution they want to release early, that's an individual choice... and I support the right to make those here. But PM's are great for telling people about seekrit plans, at least enough to maybe convince them to hold back and combine their nukes with yours.
