Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I like this. This is the response I got from narconon georgia to a modified version of the ex-ot8 letter:
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact And what about hi5? Is there a scieno presence in countries that use ir mostly?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact i did m982-m990, m989 was set to away, his message indicated he probably left myspace
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Just spent an hour writing a response to one email back  . Seem to be getting a good few responses. One thing I notice is if they reply, they generally do it with long rambling texts with poor spelling, grammar and no paragraphs. Makes it hard to read and is quite strange considering several claim to have undergone Scientology communication courses.  Anyone else notice this?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Yes, I've noticed it...these are not likely to be highly educated people or they'd see what BS Scientology is, IMO.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact apparently some of the poeple on teh list are not scientologists, one of them just sent a reply saying they were slightly insulted about it >.< anoyne else have this problem?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I think other people have said this has happened. Apologize, direct them to youfoundthecard, move on. As for how we got this list, I have no idea and agree with another poster here said that he learned long ago not question how we get our information. It seems there are enough scientologists on it to make this worth our while anyway.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Facebook 1538 1555 1987 1988 1989 Done
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact 1901- 1910 are done on face book, myspace is next  781-790 done also some myspaces only accept messages from friends...think this could be something new?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Taken 1713, 1714, 1715, 1716, 1717, 1718, 1720 on Facebook. Thanks guise for your excellent letters, I'll customise them and let you know if I get any good replies. About adding friends to Facebook accounts; I think this is a good idea and makes the account look more legit. Facebook accounts with no friends look really suss. As long as everyone is careful not to put any identifying details in their profiles then it shouldn't interfere with our anonymity. What do y'all think?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I see a little problem. What about the people you are adding as your friends. Would they be picked randomly? If they have personal info on their profiles, of course you will remain anonymous to the CoS, but what about them? Unless you make some fake "friends" accounts yuorself, of course, and in that case make as if this post didn't exist. Good Luck.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I was suggesting that we add the accounts of other anons who're participating in the facebook rescue. As long as we all keep our profiles clear of real personal data (as I hope everyone is), we stay anonymous but have a ready-made circle of friends. I don't have the patience to make a tonne of fake facebook accounts just so my account looks legit, but those anons who are trying to keep their accounts valid so they can keep the lines of communication open with their scientologists (i.e. the ones who are managing not to get b& for spamming) could add each other. The only real problem I can think of with this approach is that the scis start swapping notes and notice that they and their friends are being approached by the same bunch of people, but on the other hand it makes us look like a network of concerned people (as indeed we are). Opinions?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I'll go ahead and pm you my profile. Also, feel free to pm me your profiles so I can add you.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact m961, m962, m964, m965, m966, m967, m968, m969, m970, m831, m832, m834, m835, m836, m838, m839, m840, m731, m732, m733, m734, m735, m736, done
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Don't forget about the ex SO website when you're talking to people. I've put heaps more data on it in the last few days. It's a doubt factory.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I've been talking to the facebook of 'Narconon Georgia'. The guy insists that Narconon is perfectly valid and very effective but says that he has nothing to to do with Scientology. I'm starting to believe him (about not being a Scientologist); would a Scientologist ever write this? I thought they never mention Xenu in public? He also finished one of his messages with: what do you guys make of this? How can I keep challenging him on the validity of narconon and it's links to scientology while keeping the friendly vibe up?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact First tell him more about the crimes of the Church of Scientology. They're not just nutty but actually dangerous. He must be aware that Narconon is run by Scientology, so ask him more about that. Narconon is all based on L. Ron Hubbard bullshit and their courses are exact copies of CofS courses. Ask him if he noticed that Narcon on pationets are recruited to Scientology. Here is a (quite old, but informative) site: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Narconon/nn-scn.htm
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Also tell him there are many other good, hard working, and effective drug treatment programs out there. If he doesn't like being tied to the Scilons, perhaps he should change to a non-scilon treatment facility!
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I have referred him to that website, it's very informative indeed. I mentioned Scientologies crimes vaguely, hoping he would challenge my claims so I could elaborate on them without seeming to pushy. Since he doesn't seem to deny that scientology is harmful, I asked him if Narconon, really is effective, wouldn't it be better to apply the same methods without also acting as PR front for a corrupt and harmful organisation? He flat out denies any links with scientology...
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I've taken 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1990. Of the previous lot, I only managed to send a message to 1713 and 1715, and I haven't heard back from them yet. The others are either not accepting messages - at least my message won't send - or they're defunct accounts. Hope I'm more successful with this batch. I'm adding other anons with online rescue accounts to my facebook account to increase its legitimacy- if you want to be my friend pm me with your profile number.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Would it be a good idea to have two threads for this operation; 1 for reporting messages sent and one for discussing our encounters?
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact MySpaces DONE m642, m643, m645, m646, m647, m648, m649, m650, m652, m653, m655, m656, m657, m658, m659, m660
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact You can forward him this little video where David Miscavige himself says "...to a stultified student discovering Applied Scholastic, a strung-out addcit entering Narconon....LRH's technology seems nothing if not magical". http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=hfu7Sr50N7U That is, in Narconon they apply LRH's tech, and since DM thinks appropriate to mention it in it's annual report, the link is quite evident. Don't need to be confrontational, Just ask him in a friendly way how he would explain this if there is not such connection. On the other question, about a scientologist writing that way, I think that if OSA has been following all the forums on the internet for a while, some of them must have learnt by now how to disguise themselves. But about this particular person, who really knows. Good luck.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact This is a fantastic idea. Messaged facebook 1922 - 1932. Will do more when I have more time.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact did 1151-1160 on myspace. may do more later after lunch. great idea. I sent this with varied subjects and changed wording: also if anyone would like to add my new anon page so it's not so Tom-infested, please do :* http://www.myspace.com/katyj23
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact join some groups (anti-cos of course) then just wait for the friend whores to come to you, jack rush for instance has asked 3 of my accounts for a frendship, this seems to have kept them safe (plus posting some files, links, etc in the groups)
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Good Grief, you gais are amazing...AMAZING...like the energizer bunny you just keep chugging along. Consider this a HUGE cheer of support from the sidelines. -anon- I will never forget the children...
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I noticed that facebook are using some really crazy antibot tactics, i just had to put in 'Fib- 10x9.99' apart from that my real looking people are still alive and healthy, making friends with celebs, posting pictures to groups, etc. Also a lulsum fact, there are more people in the 'stop cos being a uk religion' group than in the 'fastest growing religion in the world....scientology' group. I for one luled HARD. I think a few of the people i've been chatting to must have been told to stop or just decided i was an SP or something, the thing is they all seemed to decide at about the same time - anyone else noticed this? i think they all happened to be (or at least #seemed# to be) born scientologists or at flag. Some form of facebook SP warning? EDIT:also facebook lul... "Due to the massive amount of attackers this group has been subject to, the Discussion Board and Wall have been closed. Sorry, but there are just too many bigoted attackers to keep up with." From 'i support scientology' - it seems the truth hurts.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I love it when PR fails, that's great!
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact I would not be surprised if CoS has informed them not to make any contact with internet contacts.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Not with everyone, but 4 people have all stopped, and for no obvious reason.
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact Is this true? Is everyone getting fewer responses? I haven't sent out enough to notice any proper trends. I guess if we've driven them out of the internet for fear of exposure to truth, it's a pretty major win, because that's just not sustainable. Too bad if we can't reach them though. Edit: Taking 1505-1510
Re: Operation Online Rescue: 1000s of Scientologists to contact yeah, probably, i havent been getting any replies for a few days... at least they are reading...
