Here's another word of encouragement from BTs2Free. It's in response to a post by tonguetied on OCMB.

I've found a volunteer remailer, he is willing to cover some postage, not sure how much he is up for yet. Collect what you can for postage. If you're short we will collect the money somehow. Just get as many cards as you can.

    From ESMB:
Here's another response from Little Bear Victor, recently blown from Int base, on what the response to Operation Over the Wall will be at Int base. This was in reply to a sceptic who thought all the postcards would simply be given the deep 6 by the mailreader.

    I love this info.
    Thanks LBV.
I think the postcards will be epic win, as they (who's they??) say.

I want to give all of you a pat on the back and caek. At first, I thought this was a waste of time.
    But I went out yesterday
and bought 100 small postcards and will mail them out tomorrow. (I had to actually had to go out to 6 different places to find 100. a small town fails sometimes. I will order some online)

Major internets to all of you who showed me a way to a epic win

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

This is what I envision with every postcard I write. For fun, the last batch of postcards I sent out was to COB's whatever the hell they are called on the base, but really just his personal assistants. I included some of the most blasphemous and doubt-inducing stuff I could find from LBV's list of suggested sentences. About how "out here" no more getting slapped around by COB. Where no one can be forced to work day and night without pay. And that if anyone at the base gives them a hard time about leaving, all they have to do is call 911 and a member of the Hemet police will come to escort them safely of the base, with all their belongings. That the police have helped people before; that that was how Marc Headley got away. Etc. The purpose of this is not only to enturbulate the b'jeesus out of DM's personal flunkies, but also to incite gossip in the Gilman Hot Springs mail room. Gossip which will not be contained due to the recent raids on the FDLS compound in Texas (I bet there are a lot of people in Hemet who have been riveted to that story for obvious reasons).

My next batch is going to be targeted to the RFP list

For anyone who has already sent POs to SP Hall and would like to continue to send them to other base iinmates, here is a fairly up to date of list of Int Base staff at this post at OCMB:

Operation Clambake Message Board :: View topic - OPERATION: Over The Wall.

If any of the OG is reading this, if anyone has any idea how we can get some list of Sea Org names in other cities -- especially in Clearwater, LA & New York -- it would be great to send some "did you know" letters/post cards to other orgs in line with Kukkaburra's idea.

Speaking of names and addresses, this was provided by Jenna's friend Amy (YouTube - APRIL 12TH PROTEST(EX-SEA ORG MEMBER INTERVIEW)) over at ex-kids. It is the name and address of her sister who she is trying to get in touch with:

    Kelly Zacks C/O WISE INT
    6331 Hollywood Blvd.
    Hollywood, CA 90028

When Amy saw Tommy Davis lie his ass off on CNN about the Cults practice of Disconnection, she decided to call him out:

Let's send Kelly some beautiful postcards and let her know how much her sister misses her.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

I've been trying to find mailing info on RPF anon1957.
And LBV's response has made my day. It is satisfying that a modern day, internment camp is being innundated by all these little cards...done folks who are lurkers, "activists", exSci, etc. Granted, I think some of the names on the list won't care, as is their right, but for the ONE that may...this is why we happily paste stickers, buy stamps and take a little time to say "this isn't right."

That was so funny...I just had to say how well written that was for impact and also for...'holy cow, now I do believe this can work, I'm now officially IN on the postcards'. I will start this weekend! :woot:

Operation Over the Wall goes to Town Hall Sydney

I gave the group a 5 minute briefing on the SP Hall and Operation Over the Wall. Many anons had still not heard of either the SP Hall or the Op. I don't know how many cards are done yet, but I set up a little writing space with the cards, lists, clipboards etc and everybody got right into it. I also spoke with the admin of this board and we will be getting full support from enturbulation, including some financial assistance for postage. :flowers: Thank-you everyone for your help.

Off topic big news: A little bonus at our protest. Just hours before the protest James Packer, Australia's almost richest man (he was the richest before Scientology) and Scientology's richest public and personal friend of Tom Cruise announced that he no longer needed Scientology. :rage: So we all got to chant "Packer blew, you can too" at the org today.

Here's the RPF list for Pac, the most recent to my knowledge.

Tonguetied, I love your signature line.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Mahatma Gandhi

This Op seems to me to be a very Gandhi sort of thing. I keep thinking of him and his followers on the beach making salt as a protest, which they won. Just like we are going to win the release of prisoners with postcards. I just love this op!

Way to GO Kookaburra & Sydney anons! and

I saw the pic of you guys last night (check the OP on the Tally thread, you'll lol!) and went to sleep all happy and tingly and SO proud of you. I am drinking my coffee right now, and I just can't wait...to GoGoGoGo!

You spoke to it, live? Was it a real Marcabian?

We can add, James Packer blew and so can you to some of our postcards!

Keep it up everyone, we are just getting started with this Operation. We are well over the 1000 mark by now, and its just going to keep going and going.

I know at the NYC raid today we sent out ~60 postcards, someone said? It was great! I hadn't heard about this before, but I'm definitely participating now.

You can see pictures of the NYC postcarding here! They're the last three pictures at the bottom of the page. We focused on SP hall today--perhaps at other raids we'll work on the RPF too?

Hi Kookaburra - was a pleasure meeting you on Saturday. Certainly was a great day we had - and win after win across the whole globe too. Absolutely bloody awesome. In anycase, let me know what the cost might be once you get it sorted how many postcards need to go out and I'll start the cogs turning to help you out with it.

    For the Australia anons:

Just a thought - it would be nice if someone, somehow could get word to James Packer, and ask him to front some funds for postcards.

If he could just run them through the mailroom of one of his businesses, what could Co$ do? He's already on their SP list, I suppose.

Or go to one of the large newspapers, or churches, or someplace that uses bulk mail - instead of individual postage.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

Thank-you so much for your generous postage offer.

I think we are just about covered for this demonstration, but we need to keep this campaign up until the SP Hall is history and the 39 prisoners are free. I was hoping to get 40,000 postcards at the demonstrations. That didn't happen, but I think by next one we will be a lot more organized. The cities that did do it had a very good response from the protesters. Just read some of the stuff they wrote - right from the heart! I think it would help a lot if the organizers for the various cities knew there was help in the wings with the postage. Even individuals who are willing to do a big lot but are not so affluant would probably be encouraged by this so why don't we make it available for those who need it and dole it out for reciepts and pics. June 15 will be a big one. If SP Hall is gone by then (which I think it might be) there is still the RPF to tackle.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

    Please critique these ideas:

    * Making the return address "Postmaster, Hemet, CA 92343", they refuse the mail, it gets returned to the person who should be concerned about it being refused.

    * Putting a "serial #" of sorts on the postcards you send. Record the postcards, with serial numbers visible in the photos/video, before sending. Especially if you are planning on being a bulk sender. Once a large number of these postcards go out, you can make very specific complaints to the postmaster general, concerned that person X at that location was sent Y number of postcards and you think that staff on base is withholding their mail. With the evidence, that makes it a very easy task for the postmaster to conduct interviews (or whatever they do) with the intended recipients. Only you and the postmaster will know how many postcards you sent, and when. Making lying to the postmaster "fair weather, good sailing" or whatever the policy is to lie to outsides, easily spotted.

    * Is delivery confirmation available on postcards? That doesn't require a signature, but would be proof that it was delivered by the postman. If you can prove the postman delivered, but the recipient did not receive, kablammo.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

what do you guys think of putting some of OT3 as the picture(LRH's handwriting not Times New Roman)?
would that make sure only OT3's can handle the mail?
  28. anon1957 Member

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

According to just about everybody who has any contact with the inside, the Sea Org has been inoculated against hearing OT III with some shore story about how it is not real but based on one of Elron's lesser known science fiction books from the 30s. This is not because of Anonymous but because of the South Park episode. They will just say the handwriting is forged -- I think they already have. It won't effect them at all.

And it is beside the point. The point is to let people know that they are not invisible, they are not forgotten, that neither they nor anyone else on this planet deserves the treatment they are receiving. That they will be helped and not abandoned if they decide they want to gtfo.

Read through the the thread, particularly posts by Bts2Free, Kookaburra, Little Bear Victor for ideas on what kinds of things might work.

I personally don't think OT III should be read at protests, as it is boring as hell and there are more damning writings by Elron which deserve wider exposure.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

The back will be all hugs an kisses of course. I was just thinking that if any of the people screening the mail ever make it to OT3 it would be a good way to remind them that anonymous is there for them.

also they might require that only OT3+'s sort through other peoples mail if their leaders see it and shit brix

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

The only result from doing this is that far fewer people will see it. The whole idea of the postcards is that LOTS of people will see them. It defeats the purpose. Stay on target. we want to

    1. Give comfort to those imprisoned.

    2. Inform the base by rumour line that there is an XSO underground to receive them.

3 Create an internal security flap by using the actual address of the base, naming the Int staff at Gold base, and the existance of the SP room. That's three confidential things on every postcard.

    4. Create a PR flap for the base through the Hemet post office.

    5. Pressure DM to release his prisoners.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

I made a suggestion of extending the postcard campaign over on another thread - here it is again. What do people think?

It's said that the individual org.s around the world are not telling the staff that the protests are global - they are telling them that it's just a few college kids, or just a problem at their org., just a few people in the pay of shrinks etc. So here's an idea to address this problem:

    1) get the best pic you can of your local protest including the scientology building in the background.
    2) print it onto big postcards
    3) mail it to orgs in other countries and cities with a message on the back saying "Look what happened here in LA/Sydney/London/Amsterdam/where ever - there's HUGE CROWDS of people here every month - why do all these people around the world care so much and feel so strongly about the scientology organisation? Find out for yourself"

Plus sign it with the web address for: Ex Scientologist Message Board or other contact info.

Would this be any use or too much trouble? What do people think?

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

    ^^^^THIS!

& 2 is really important -according the BTs2Free who used to be a big security dude at the base, the word WILL spread like wildfire. The place is just to damn small and too enclosed for that not to happen.

If in doubt as to whether something is appropriate, err on the side of being cautious and kind.

As for the nice Anon photo postcards, I personally think it is an excellent idea. I already have a couple of favorites picked out that I would like to use.

I was thinking of saying something like,

We are not from Marcabia, nor are we from big Pharma. We are just ordinairy people: students, teachers, housewives, lawyers, plumbers, nurses, waiters, taxi drivers, babysitters, fathers, mothers, daughters and sons...(you get the idea).

Out here, we believe your life is rare and precious. Out here, we believe you have a birthright to be happiness and freedom Out here, we are waiting to help you find it, and your place a world that misses your voice and your smile.

    (Or something like that)

EXCEPT: Use exseaorg.com. & most importantly (since most of these people never get near the web) the toll free helpline - 1-866-XSEAORG.

I would like to add an idea to this. How about we coordinate specific mailing days? In this way, big batches should arrive all at once.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

Big batches are easy to "bag up" and trash without reading.

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

So from reading the various threads, this operation now has 3 parts:
    • postcards to SP Hall
    • postcards to RPF using the 2007 list
    • postcards to individual missions alerting them to SP Hall?

What are people using for a return address?

Do we, or do we not sign as anonymous?

    thoughts?
  36. tonguetied Member

Re: [Operation Over the Wall: Postcards from Paradise] to SP Hall!

I use mailing labels with the exseaorg.com and the 866 phone # in the return address area. Plus the one on the back with the notes and stickers makes it visible in two places.

Hope this doesn't double post. I also use labels for creating messages. ( Trouble with fingers/hands at times.) I'll copy some of the nice messages Kookaburra posted from others onto labels and stick on the cards. Also add a short handwritten line. Maybe not as personal but we all try!

Uhm... This is simplistic, but... sending people outside the US a US toll-free number doesn't help them. If you're going to send postcards to say, the UK, from the States, then it'd be way more useful to put on the UK ex-SO number -- there is one, it's a London number, but I can't remember it.

Are there European ex-SO groups with phone numbers? Oz/NZ? Bueller? Ferris Bueller?
