Sorry, Clearwater, for what must seem like an idea grab. I'd been mulling it over for a while and I've posted about it before.

WHATEVAR.

February 7th, we're going to be on the side of SR 200 near Checkers. 11:30am, like on Jan. 17th. Big signs for drivers, masks, etc. Bring a few fliers if you can. Blah blah blah. Expect Scilons, for I'm sure they're lurking about here. O HAI RED SHIRT LADY.

February 21st is time for Parti Gras. Meet on the Square near Harry's Bar & Grill around 2pm. Beads and big feathered/sequined masks are a must, unless you have GF masks. Fliers are another must, because the traffic is slower and there are more pedestrians.

No matter what, prepare evasive maneuvers to get to your transportation, as Scilons will be afoot.

If you can bring stuff, please do!!! If one brings a cooler and a couple of bags of ice, another brings a case of water, another paper plates/plastic cutlery, and another brings some caek, we'll be pretty set. I'm making fliers sometime soon so we'll be pretty set on that front, depending on where I can find the cheapest place to print.

Yeah, and are claiming that they worked with me at my last place of employment. Too bad they didn't do enough digging to find out what I did there instead of spouting off wrong info. Also, claiming my kids were with me at the protest was just plain laughable! Like I would put my kids in that direct kind of danger, and as if my husband would let me!

Yeah, this is a rather amusing turn of events. I hope for an SP declaration letter, because I will frame it and hang it on a wall. I've already told my family and friends that it may happen and they lol'd.

Somebody I don't even really know came up to me today during lunch and asked me if I was interested in news on CoS coming to Ocala. Curious, I said yes.

New information leads to them taking a building downtown on The Square. Knowing how they like their old, mausoleum-esque buildings, I'm guessing where The Capitol used to be, on the corner of Magnolia and SR 40.

I believe that this puts even moar win in store for Operation: Parti Gras. Should this turn out to be true, we will start protesting there.

If anyone wants to hand out flyers to neighbouring businesses, please do.

Myself and a few others live in the Gainesville area.... I've been desperately trying to make it to a Clearwater protest, but you guys are so much closer... and my associates are kind of scared of the harsh repercussions. They're convinced the scilons will put two and two together that the sweet girl they've been spoon feeding information to is actually compiling it into a nice little folder.
That would be terrible... but for every one that falls amirite?

Ah, I can't really get up that far. My car = POS '87 Toyota that burns oil and just gives me all sorts of trouble. There was an anon that I believe was in G-ville but never actually showed up (yeah, you know who you are!), if he had, I would have asked him to give you guys a ride.

Gaaaawd, now I feel terrible that I can't really help out.

Is there any way you guys could get a ride into the county, and then a ride back? Because if I couldn't give you a ride into town and back to a meeting point, maybe someone else could? I dunno where AnonMom lives, you can ask her if you'd like.

Oooorrrrr, you could simply recruit someone with a decent ride that lives up there and then pitch in for gas?

That's not at all a bad idea. But it seems that my recruiting skills are lacking in the instilling morale factor. The people I've had cling to the cause are terrified of getting their families hurt, so they work primarilly as STRICTLY ANONYMOUS anons... send me poetry, stories, info and pictures for posters.
As of now, I'm completly broke... spent last of my funds on going up to NYC. Didn't stop by the Org... wanted to, but didn't.

Well, the operation in whole is a little bit off... maybe I can weasle a ride by then. It would be nice to meet some new people who aren't hiding in the shadows of the Org out of pure fear of C&D. Personally, I'd welcome one. I'm not afraid of them... that just makes them feel good

Are their families going to believe them or the Scilons? Have them FULLY explain to their families beforehand. If you get namefagged, which is fairly easy to avoid if you park a ways off from where you're going to protest, then nothing should really happen. We didn't park far enough away, so that's why we got namefagged.

I dunno, stick some YFTC things in areas that the college kids like to hang out around. On the back of them, tell them to contact you by username on WWP. Or hand out some flyers up there in those college kid areas and when you attract some people who are interested, tell them about Operation: Parti Gras down here.

Most of the people I know are fully into protesting so it wasn't that hard for me to get them into it, so maybe my suggestions are fail. XD

Naw. I'm fairly sure that the Co$ already has my name and address. I used to keep in close contact with people from the church. Did a huge paper on all the information they had given me and all of what I had learned from being a femanon for the time... got an amazing grade on it, but they said I portrayed them as villans. And I pretty much to the extent said : I call it like I see it.

No letter, no nothing. I didn't, to their knowledge, actively go against the Church itself. So \/ what ya gunna do eh?

And I know... epic fail on my part.. but I can't for the life of me remember how to make that face...

I actually got a YFTC card... kind of like a playing card.. ya know, king with anon mask. I want a bunch of them to spread around.. but have no idea where to get them.

I was kinda hoping an Orlananon would respond; I haven't seen any kind of activity any time I drive by, nor have I seen anything new. I suppose I'll be heading to the northlands then. I'm not overly familiar with Ocala other than I've been to the Capital once. Also, I have coolers of various sizes.

Do you plan on coming to the one next Saturday, or the one on the 21st? The 21st, we'll be on The Square, just the opposite corner from The Capitol, unless we find out that Scilons are, indeed, taking over the building where that venue used to be. Hopefully, they are, because that would be great irony - a formerly Christian hardcore venue, turned Scifag....

Also, B is the Checkers we're meeting next to next Saturday, if you'd rather come to that one.

No good for the 7th, but I'm ready to roll for the 21st. Also, we have a pretty beefy office printer. Depending on how many fliers are needed, I might be able to cheese some toner if I get the paper.

Remember to park further away from The Square than you usually would. Scilons will be about, probably stalking us or somesuch. I know they've been watching this thread, so just be careful.

Has anyone heard about Scifags setting up tables for events downtown? I just found out from someone that they have been, like on The Square and such. We might have competition for flier passouts.

I was also checking through the ocalamarion.com website's list of events, and there's going to be an Autism Grass Roots Tour stop in Ocala, at the MTI campus. February 16 at 7pm. I'll be on patrol for Scifags if anyone wants to join me, besides that it would be a good opportunity to talk to people on the tour about autism's relation to Jett Travolta.
